S3 Ep1: Pagan Stories of Yule

Happy Yule and Winter Solstice! Season 3 is kicking off with a holiday episode with Father Winter and Krampus as we dig into slavic and alpine European stories and myths. Did you know that Father Winter left red and white psychedelic mushrooms at the hearth while families placed them inside their drying socks by the fire? What a celebration that must have been! Now we can understand the legends of flying reindeer! Join April, Harmony and Maggie as they discuss the historical roots of the traditional Christmas celebration as we know it today. Odin, Tammuz, Nut and Geb, all have roots to this time of year that may still influence our celebrations. But do you know who Mithras was? It is said that he introduced baptism by the koshering of bulls long before it was introduced into the modernized traditions.
