Paneet Singh is a playwright and filmmaker whose work is largely inspired and informed by Sikh, Punjabi, and South Asian culture and history, and who is most well known for his stageplays "The Undocumented Trial of William C. Hopkinson" and "A Vancouver Guldasta" as well as his documentary films "Press Breaker" and "The Ecstatic." In this episode we will discuss his love for storytelling and how he considers engaging with story to be a large part of his professional and personal life, as well as his spiritual journey – and really the only way in which all of these aspects of his life can intersect. We also take a look into his interactions with the Late Bhai Charanjit Singh Ji, his Gatka Ustaad and mentor.
