S3 Ep10: Jesse Fahnestock, Head of Research and Analysis, Global Maritime Forum
from The ship.energy podcast · host ship.energy
In this week’s ship.energy podcast, Jesse Fahnestock of the Global Maritime Forum explains the concept of Green Shipping Corridors. Introduced in the Clydebank Declaration launched at COP26 in Glasgow last year, these corridors are intended to bring together actors from across the value chain to get shipping to the point where it actively adopts low and zero carbon technologies in a competitive commercial setting. Jesse has years’ experience in sustainability and environmental projects working for a variety of organisations. In his current role, he is Head of Research and Analysis at Global Maritime Forum, a position he has held since January 2021. His work there covers research and innovation on zero-emission shipping fuels, including analytical work, the development of industry-led first mover projects, and the promotion of Green Shipping Corridors.
