S3 Ep2: Robin Byde, Director - Research, Zeus Capital

This week’s ship.energy podcast guest is Robin Byde, an equity research analyst who works for a leading independent investment bank in the London market, Zeus Capital. Robin gives his perspectives on investor attitudes to transport decarbonisation and, looking more closely at the shipping sector, he considers whether ESG concerns could be advantageous for shipping companies seeking investment. He also mulls the risk to investors of being left with stranded assets as maritime stakeholders take decisions on their respective routes to decarbonisation. Robin has worked in the City of London for over 2o years as an analyst covering industrial and transport companies, advising on dozens of transactions over the years including in the maritime space.  Prior to Zeus, he worked at HSBC, KPMG and Cantor Fitzgerald.
