LCMS Youth Ministry has supported LCMS Servant Events for over 40 years, and in this episode, we hear more about their benefits to young people, those who serve alongside them, and those they serve in the name of Christ.   Service on longer, intensive weeks like servant events or mission trips gives youth a chance to live out their faith through the work of the Holy Spirit and build relationships that keep them tied to their congregation.  Rev. Craig Bertram and Shelly Carlson of Lord of Lakes Lutheran Church (Forest Lake, MN) earlier joined Rev. Mark Kiessling and Julianna Shults on an episode of End Goals. Craig and Shelly are key leaders for an LCMS Servant Event called Heart of a Servant.
