S3E1: diamonds dominate

The Netty Show returns for its third year, and Millsy and Kell are kicking off Season 3 with a big netball catch up after the off-season. The team break down Australia’s dominant international series performances and discuss why the Diamonds are looking like the team to beat heading into this year’s Commonwealth Games. They also take an early look at the 2026 squad line-ups for Queensland Firebirds, Melbourne Mavericks, GIANTS Netball, and Sunshine Coast Lightning ahead of the new Suncorp Super Netball season. Who’s recruited well? Which combinations will click early? And which team might surprise everyone this year? Plus, there’s exciting news for the broader netball community as Men’s and Mixed netball continues to grow, with a new Trans-Tasman series between Australia and New Zealand announced for July. Millsy and Kell chat about what this could mean for the future of the game, the increasing visibility of men’s and mixed competitions, and the growing rumours that a Men’s competition linked to Suncorp Super Netball could be on the horizon.
