Two brothers from Virginia Beach, Virginia meet the masterful production duo known as The Neptunes, also from the area, and one of the greatest duos of all time was born. Clipse could have given us more classics than they already did, if it wasn't for the record labels. Their first recorded album wasn't released until recently, but they quickly moved record labels and created Lord WIllin' which was released to critic and fan fare. Another label dispute would drop the second album out for several years in which we would get the legendary We Got It 4 Cheap mixtape serious. Hell Hath No Fury would follow after the dispute was settled and sadly we would only get one more album from the group before they split. Check out the a little of the road these two took to get to solidified legend status. Thank you Gene and Terrence Thornton for everything you have and continue to contribute to the culture. Thank You No Malice and Pusha T. And thank you for listening to this episode please like subscribe and leave a review where possible. Thank you.
