I wanted to find out more, and we were both excited to talk about the community that supported her family after they were diagnosed with alopecia. I hear so often, after children are diagnosed, that parents want to do something, anything really...to support their child. They feel helpless and confused, and they want their child to be seen as amazing kids, not as someone who is lacking in any way.
