I initially thought it had been a suicide, as her wrists had been slashed, and it was something she mentioned in the past. As it was stated during a 10 minute long heartbreaking, distraught 911 call. A few days later, I was charged for the murder of my wife. After 27 arduous months of waiting in a county jail, I had my "day in court." My attorney is among the best in town; I had a strong case: four alibi witness accounts stating I was with them, watching movies at a friend's house, approximately 30 minutes away from my home. They had records of cell phone tower pings, placing this me -- presumably with my phone -- at the friend's house; not only that, but they had cell phone tower pings of the last person to see my wife alive within minutes of the home. There was evidence that the last person to see my wife alive, Pam Hupp, had been named the beneficiary of a 6-figure life insurance policies days before the murder. Money that was supposed to be allotted to the victim's daughters was kept away from them for so long, eventually to be place into a REVOCABLE trust fund, sans 1/3 of money (which was supposed to be given to another cancer patient, who died before the woman gave the patient the money). This was all withheld from the jury. They didn't get to see the cross-examination of this woman. They didn't get to see her trip up on her story and LIE on the stand THREE times. My story has been featured on Dateline NBC an unprecedented 6 times as well as numerous other media outlets. Now the subject of a true crime novel, Bone Deep by author Charles Bosworth and attorney Joel Swartz, and a gripping miniseries, The Thing About Pam on NBC.
