S3E15 We Are Still Slaves (Part 2)

Wrapping up our last discussion about slavery, we expanded on the idea that what captivates our thoughts, time, energy, and money can easily enslave us. There is no escaping that we are made to worship, and we all worship something or someone. We get to choose the object of our worship. Put another way, we choose (and are 100% responsible for) who or what we surrender ourselves to. That object of our worship can draw us closer to who we want to become or what we aim to do, or it can drive us away from it. We know this is true, as we experience the consequences of our choices all the time. The exercise of mental fitness here is to be aware of our choices and the powerful impact they have on outcomes in our lives.
