On her first trip to Singapore, a Malaysian Tik Toker asked a cab driver where she can find the best nasi lemak. The driver recommended Punggol Nasi Lemak and she went to try a plate of nasi lemak from the shop. She lamented that it comes with a just one slice of cucumber and a teaspoon of sambal. She also complains that the rice did not have enough coconut fragrance, the sambal is too sweet and a plate is expensive - costing her $8.
