Another weekend of contrasting fortunes for Hull's two clubs. Hull FC made the trip to France but came away empty-handed after a 44-30 defeat to Toulouse Olympique. After finding themselves 30-0 down at half-time, FC showed plenty of fight in the second half, but ultimately gave themselves far too much to do. Hull KR, meanwhile, got back to winning ways in emphatic fashion, beating Huddersfield Giants 36-6 at Craven Park, a victory that also secured Rovers' place in the Super League play-offs.
