"Virus" ist eine Episode zweier Hälften, von denen die eine deutlich mehr kann als die andere. Deswegen mag der Originaltitel "Torn" hier sogar besser passen, denn nicht nur kämpfen hier zwei voneinander losgelöste Storylines um unser Interesse, auch bezüglich einiger Drehbuch– und Regieentscheidungen fühlen wir uns hin- und hergerissen. Ausnahmsweise hat Britt-Marie dabei sogar einmal mehr zu meckern als Patrick, ist sie doch kein großer Fan von Admiral Adamas harter Hand. Ihr Co-Host ist unterdessen vom Chaos im Baltar-Handlungsstrang leicht genervt, weil man das Papier des Scripts zu oft und zu laut rascheln hört. Und was für Leibesübungen sind das eigentlich, die die nackte Nummer Acht an Bord der zylonischen Basestar macht?
