S3E8: Souvenir

Welcome back to Mad Men & Tonic! In S3E8, “Souvenir,” Kristina and Elias mix Aperol Spritzes and somehow buy tickets to Rome the same morning of the flight to join Don and Betty. K sprung E’s middle school style intro of the episode (a dictionary definition), and expands her domain of expertise to gift shop-ology, and gleefully announces the return of T-Shirt time. Plus, they discuss the moment Sally’s finally becomes a sentient character, and rue yet another horrendous CGI moment. https://www.instagram.com/madmenandtonic/ https://www.acouplecooks.com/aperol-spritz/ https://cocktails.lovetoknow.com/cocktail-recipes/15-classic-italian-cocktails-that-made- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4lXGSnPcb8 Gumby https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7gdWIY9R4s Wallace and Gromit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVdlxwX6A7g Chicken Run https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv8lGa_ZXao Nightmare before Christmas https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCUze7kuNas “Would a depressed person make this?” (Parks and Rec) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tfK_3XK4CI “Put Neidermeyer on it, he’s a sneaky little shit just like you, right?” (Animal House) https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0582420/ Mark Metcalf (Neidermeyer & the Mayor) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMP_zWCw7cA Meredith Blake at The Stafford Hotel (The Parent Trap) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebmlfeaPHpE Meredith Blake compilation (The Parent Trap) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rq7qm3T3cPE Ingloruious Basterds Italian clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ccp-lEmoAE Sex Panther (Anchorman) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSahBoGw0o4 Billy Madison Back to School song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPZwbMcIDUg There’s a Small Hotel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Are-c0BLyIg My Funny Valentine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSHmmHqI04M The Lady is a Tramp https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/ight-imma-head-out Spongebob aight ima head out meme https://romecavalieri.com/ https://padraicino.com/madmen-rome/ https://latimesblogs.latimes.com/culturemonster/2009/10/las-music-center-doubles-for-rome-in-televisions-mad-men.html https://therake.com/stories/pleasure/rome-with-a-view/ Wikipedia pages: House of Hapsburg; Souvenir; Spritz Veneziano; Davey and Goliath: Wallace and Gromit; Guðrún; Bonwit Teller; There’s a Small Hotel; Richard Rodgers
