S4 D.R #5: Unwrapping the Gift of Goodness and Kindness with Miriam

Send us Fan MailFirst and foremost, I want to let you know that this devotional is not an idea that I came up with. Instead, this is a devotional that the Holy Spirit placed in my heart to share with you. At first, I thought He wants me to do just one devotional but while recording it I realized that He wants me to do a series of devotional where we get to unwrap the different gifts that He gave us. We are unwrapping the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. We already unwrapped the gift of love, joy and peace and patience. In this episode, we will unwrap the gift of goodness and kindness and our good friend Miriam will help us unwrap it.Our main verse can be found in Galatians 5:22-23 which tells us that kind of fruits or gifts that the Holy Spirit gives us. Besides, this verses our friend Miriam also shared with us the verse that she had in her heart and that is Micah 6:8 from the ERV version.It is easier to love people who are nice, and we like but how about those that are rude or may not like us back or the ones that may get in your skin. How do we show kindness and goodness to them? These are the topic of conversation that Miriam and I had on this episode.Our prayers are that we all ask God to give us the gift of goodness and kindness on our daily lives. Let us also be kind not only to people you may not like but also to someone you might be angry at. Ask God to give you the gift of kindness especially when you are angry at someone, or you are in a middle of an argument. Let us practice being good and kind to everyone around us as God shows us His love every day and that even if we don't deserve it Jesus still died on the cross for our sins.
