S4 E17 ~ 5/28/26

from IJN Cast · host Intermountain Jewish News

‘You could see out the window from the house, to the crematorium and the gas chamber,’ Elliott Broidy, who helped turn the house of an Auschwitz commandant into the Auschwitz Research Center on Hate, Extremism and Radicalization, tells the IJN Cast. ‘The house had a swimming pool and garden. Hitler and these guys would sit with the Commandant and smoke cigars and it’s mind boggling. We thought we could use it as a symbol, and we took control right before the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz.’Plus part of country music singer Eric Church’s commencement address at UNC, where he shared six life lessons corresponding to the six strings of a guitar.
