S4: E3 - Remarkable Power (MARK)

Dave and Mandy are joined by Andrew and Henry to discuss Jesus' remarkable power, seen in Mark 3:7-35.  We talk about the structure of the passage and some of the narrative devices that Mark uses to tell us of Jesus (learn all about Markan Sandwiches and the Messianic Secret), then turn to some of the key themes and ideas raised by the passage, particularly looking at the appointment of the 12 and Jesus' mother, brother and sisters, before Andrew turns to spotlight on the hosts as we look a little more at what being family means for us at Christ Church Gladesville.
