Welcome back to live forever. I'm Dan and I'm Steve. What's been going on? Shit.

Missing Bryant. Yeah, missing Brent. And you know, I think he's actually back, but I wasn't gonna give him shit. Oh really?

Yeah, because this crazy rain definitely hit them. Oh, yeah. And I know they didn't stay out in the fucking mountains when it was well because there's rain here. So if they were North Carolina, that'd be fucking nice and snug.

If they went where we went at one time to Lula Gorge. Yeah, dude. It was there was frickin snow on the ground when we went up there. That's what I'm saying.

It was fucking cold. Yeah, they must have been and Brent and I can't remember his name. Alex used to work at the other place with the S. Oh, yeah.

Yeah. Bro, they camped with a tarp. Like the rest of us were so intense and they had like a little makeshift tarp that they just set up and slept right on the ground. And I'm like, y'all can have that.

Oh, they did like survival style. Like I'm gonna put up a tarp. And even with the tent, like Greg and I, we bumped together that he was like my bunk bitch. He was your little spoon?

He was my little spoon for sure. So and that itself was the most ridiculous thing. So about two in the morning, we really didn't realize there was a slight incline to where we put our tent. Right.

So I had this like zero bag. I'm thinking, man, I'm gonna be warm all night. I'm like, Oh my God, I'm freezing the fucking down. What's going on?

I didn't realize that I had like moved around enough that I slid out and my feet were actually out of the tent. You were slithering, bro. I was slithering. So that was phase one of like what kept me up that night.

And then I don't know what time it was, but something like running up against our tag. Greg lost his shit. Really thinking it was a bear. He slid over and like you were talking about little spoon.

He slid over was like, what the fuck dude? I'm like spoon me. Hold me. Don't worry, though.

I won't let nothing kill you. He was supposed to go, I guess, but broke his foot. I thought it was just some typical Greg bullshit. Like I'm not going because.

And I saw him at the office man and his foot was fucked up. He said when he was moving and like stepped off of something that was like a couple feet high and didn't realize that he was trying to like load a mattress or some shit and stepped off. He said it felt like like he just made a breaking motion like like if you had like a bundle of sticks and just like. Uh, so that just like reinforced every OSHA video we ever saw.

I mean in your mind you're thinking man every time I'd watch one it was always like I jumped off the back of a tailgate a million times and the way they showed in the OSHA videos it's always like a guy falls off breaks his fucking neck and right. He's dead. I'm like, Oh my God. Yeah, I think something fell on it like he fell off with the load and then it landed on his foot.

Yeah, then I might wear your fucking safety boots, bro. Yeah, he's like, uh, what? What are those? Yeah, I had to actually do any work at least in the last but 10 years.

Yeah, exactly. I don't know how long Greg and I have been friends or what? Yeah, he's a weird guy, man. Like I've actually gone on like trips with that dude.

Yeah. And I still don't feel like I know him. Really? Yeah, he's very mysterious.

He's a man of mystery. Uh, go go on a hike with him one time. I mean, we got to know each other because like him and I we chummed out pretty much the whole time. I got to kill you on my phone with like him and his gear and me and my gear.

Oh, no. See that's that's this guy and I'm sure everybody wants to know about our friend Greg. But he's one of those people that like when you're not around him, it seems like he's doing some fucked up shit. But he's so charismatic that you like forgive him instantaneously the second you talked on again.

You're like, man, I don't care. You didn't answer my phone calls 800 times. Yeah, at least just saying you you watch the Super Bowl. No, no, I'm not a fan of the Super Bowl one.

Uh, I can tell you just one reason why and it's going to kind of segue and it's not not at all to be a but I mean, it's like a national holiday. Yeah, be downer. But like, I don't know, seven, eight, nine years ago, I had a dozer, my one dog. Oh, yeah.

I don't know if I told you about like the correlation with me in February. But yeah, those are passed on Super Bowl Sunday. Totally fucked up my that would kind of put a number on things. Yeah.

So keeping with the fucking trend, I guess, my I have the two dogs that I had diamond and Freya. Well, Diamond decided to pass. Yeah, man. The other day.

That news this week. Yeah. So it's been like a fucked up week for me, bro. Like, I just I'm like, I've played in the Super Bowl.

I'm just gonna that's what I'm gonna do. I'm just gonna go like mine as well. I mean, I'm the Super Bowl. Yeah, fuck Super Bowl.

And I know it sounds kind of woo woo, but that night and you know, it actually crossed my mind because this kind of shit has happened to me before where like something will wake me up. And it's like, not like a typical like having trouble sleeping, like tossing and turning and you sleep for a couple hours and you wake up. I'm talking like every time something, you know, like a person who's close to me has something fucked up happen. Right.

I cannot get back to sleep and I swear to God, I woke up at like four or four fifteen ish. Yeah, you were telling me about that morning and I could not get to sleep. And the weird part was like I told you that I was much in melatonin. I was I tried eating a sandwich.

I tried drinking some water. I laid on the ground for a while. You know, I had actually got up at like four o'clock and I laid in bed because the night before and that's when you discovered she was gone. Yeah.

Yeah, the night before she wasn't great. She'd already been to the bed. They gave her some medicine and stuff and kind of give us a description as to what it was. They didn't pinpoint any one particular thing, but you know, stomach problems.

Yeah. You know, but when I went to bed and it's kind of an office. My, my, she's a great dog man. Oh, yeah.

Yeah. She was a rat while her pit mix. Yeah, she was sweetheart. So I mean, Freya Freya seems to be doing fine.

She's friends her sister or sister. Yeah. Her sister. Yeah.

Yeah. They were. You say and her aunt. I don't know.

I don't know. I say I say and to him. Yeah. Cause I had to think about what I call my aunt Nancy.

Oh, it sounds kind of bougie. You're like upper class. Oh, my aunt. Whatever.

My aunt road shows. She gave me a pony from a birthday. But you know, I say a lot of dumb shit that most people don't say. I say soda or do you say pop?

I used to say pop. Really? That's one of the few things I've adopted moving down here from Indiana, but everybody in Indiana is a spot. But that's like a up north play thing, which is weird because I grew up in.

Now pop sounds weird to me. Yeah. I grew up in Delaware and everybody in Delaware called it soda. Yeah.

But I know people from Wisconsin and like Ohio that are like, Oh, I'll have a pop don't you know and I'm like, what the fuck's a pop? Yeah. Yeah. I know.

I said that a few times down here and people are like, Oh, like a soty pop? I'm like, fuck you man. Like a punch in the eye, bitch. Like I still haven't grabbed onto y'all.

But I mean, it makes sense to me. Like y'all makes sense to me because like my default is you guys. Doesn't that sound weird? Like what are you guys doing later?

Use guys. Yeah. But as is on the end, that makes it sound like straight. Oh, that's like a fucking Philly thing.

Yeah. Hey, you guys. Use guys. Use guys want to go to the bowling alley.

Oh, speaking of use guys. You've ever been there on James Allen? No. Dude, there's a killer sandwich shop over there.

Yeah. They make some fucking bomb ass heroes, man. I have been a well, I've found that with the right bread bread is bread is the key to any sandwich. Be it like, you know, I enjoy a subway sub every once in a while.

Yeah. But I actually called him up and was like, Hey, can I just come and like get some of your bread and they won't sell you just bread? Like I'm sure you can just get one of them like, Yeah, let me get the Italian BMT with nothing. Just give me the roll bitch.

Right. And they would probably charge you for the whole sandwich. But I think you know what's fucked up about Subway's bread. What's that?

It is so good. It is so loaded with sugar. Really? That Ireland has like standards about like what you can call bread.

It has so much sugar in it that in Ireland, they have to call it pastry. No shit. Yeah. Like it is jam packed with sugar.

Come get some of this piece of stuff. I mean, that's good. I'm kind of anti subway just because I knew a guy that owned to like five or six subways. Right.

And I know that they don't fucking take care of their shit. I mean, a lot of it's not their fault. Yeah. That's why I've kind of moved to doing it at home and just finding really good roles or.

Yeah, like if I want to sub out like chain style do Jersey mics. Yeah, Jersey mics rolls are a little, a little rough sometimes. They can be the thing that hooked me on them though was their roast beef. Okay.

So I don't know if you know this, but every Jersey mics the roast beef is made in house. Really? Yeah, they actually roast the beef themselves. I did not know that.

They don't do that with all the meats there, but the roast beef at every location, they make it in house. Right. So I mean, it's pretty fucking fresh. Yeah, but it's good.

Arby supposedly, but I know the word that I was doing. It's like that is the weirdest color. Like the what do you call it? The RBQ?

Yeah, never eat those. No. Yeah, you know, where they get that? if you cheese guy for the beef and cheddar.

Yeah, there's our pretty silent. Can't go wrong. But apparently the the RBQ. Yeah, they make that shit with all the shit that falls off the trimmer.

Oh my god. And just like press it. No, they just like they just slide, slap it into fucking barbecue sauce and let it simmer. Like they just take all the scraps that fall off the slicer and they throw them in the fucking vat of RBQ sauce.

Jesus. Yeah. But I mean, if you think about it, that's apparently like a common practice. I was watching a program a couple years back and it was talking about some of the meats you find in the store that are prepackaged and pre flavored and stuff like that.

Oh, yeah. A lot of times they'll take like oh shit. This is a week old. Let me roll it in some flavoring reseal it and throw it out for something else because oh yeah, that's where you change it.

You know, most of the sandwiches that you find in like grocery stores and shit like in the deli department, that's all just old shit that they were going to throw out. So they slice it up and put it on some bread. Yeah. That's why like cheese steaks bro.

We had fillies. They closed it down with the clothes. Yeah. That was the best cheese taken time, dude.

But their customer service went shit. Oh, they were they were fire and they were fire. I mean, I used to before they moved. Yes.

I feel like when they moved it went downhill. Yeah. And I think like the family's involvement kind of got pulled back some. Yeah.

So there was all these young kids in there and please don't think I'm against young kids. I'm just against young kids with no sense of responsibility. Yeah. You know, if you're going to work at a place and I guess it was instilled to me in a very young age, it doesn't matter if you're fucking digging ditches or building airplanes or whatever you're doing.

You know, it was always taught to me to do your very best. Do you get the best you can while you're there? You know, like I understand I'm a lazy motherfucker man. I always start my default setting is not do nothing.

Just enough. Just enough. Just enough. Exactly.

I'm going to slide through with butter on my cheeks. And I totally agree. Like I still have that same idea. Like if I'm at work, I do the best I can while I'm there, especially because you make the day go faster.

Honestly, like if you fuck off the whole time, the day will creep by if you just keep yourself busy. You won't have time to think about how long the day is. In my opinion, anything that you are producing that somebody else is paying their money for like McDonald's. I don't even really go there like I used to because nobody gives a shit.

Like you can get a cold hamburger and you know, french fries that are like shit and they'll throw them in a bag and hand them to you and then be like, Oh, that'll be 30 bucks. And it's like, God damn. Right. And a lot of it comes down to the shit's not really corporate per se anymore.

Like, like with the subway thing. Yeah, like they're required to like why they're so stingy with like napkins and shit. Right. Like those people are required to buy the products they sell from subway.

As part of the franchise. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.

So they so subway as a corporation supplies. Yes. Me me. Blah blah blah.

Yeah, everything. That's that's so they make everything uniform. Right. But corporate does not manage like the quality of the service at each location.

And I have a feeling that's what happens at a lot of fast food places that they're just run by some fucking idiot. Yeah. Who's sitting back collecting. Yeah, just making money and he doesn't care if he hires somebody that doesn't give fuck.

Yeah. Like, I don't know if the rest of the world has good Burger Kings, but the ones here suck ass. And a burger every single one of them. Whopper used to be like, Oh, the shoot man.

I love it. I had that big empty hole. I needed that. I need it.

But not anymore. Customer service sucks anymore. It does. Nobody gives a fuck.

Yeah. So I've started to do it. Like I said, that's why I find someplace that actually does give a shit. I'm like, I'm going to go there and I'm going to spend my money.

So my two go to burger joints now and it sucks because they are especially the first one is pretty pricey, but it's well worth it. And that's five guys. I mean, it's hard to be five guys. Five guys makes a hell of a burger.

It's a quality product. The fries are fucking weird, but they're fresh. Well, they're weird compared to like frozen fries. Like, yeah, if you're getting used to like fast food shit, you're like, what is this?

And then they give you like a fucking thousand of them. Yeah. Like, would you like 16 potatoes in your back? We only chopped up 12.

So here you go. You're getting all of them. We had a. A place up north called Boardwalk fries, which is they were made the same way.

Nice. Natural fry with the skin on it. They would chop them and fry them right there and you'd get a bucket of them and put like malt vinegar on it. Hell yeah.

You like malt vinegar on your fries? I'm a hit and miss it. Everyone's. Everyone's.

Well, it sounds good. Yeah. I agree. Speaking of burgers, there's that you know, the Irish place.

My Drew. Yeah. Do they make a killer burger? I've been there a while.

Killer burger. They have this. Uh, my Drew sauce. Yes.

They've told me what it is like four times and I always forget it's super simple. It's like, uh, it's like green cheese, onion powder, garlic and something else. Is that horseradish? I don't know if it's horseradish.

It might be. It grown up. That was so weird to me. Like my grandfather grew it out in the garden.

Really? It's like everything. Dude, I bet fresh horseradish is dope. So freaking good.

Like my grandmother would grind it and do all that stuff. What? Yeah, like that's dude. I bet that stuff is so good.

Fresh. I love horseradish. They were like the original like preppers. You would go down in their base.

My grandmother made her own catch up. She made her own like real. Yeah. And she would always my grandfather would eat salad, but he would only eat salad with her catch up mixed with mayonnaise, kind of like a thousand islands.

Right. But that's all he would use was her catch up because it was all natural and it was amazing. Well, I hate to go back to such a how old was done. I mean, was seven plus years old, which we found out a lot from the that like seven seven super young to lose a pet man.

But according to the that that's like an older. What seven years old, their classified as an older dog. The even even a mix like that. The vet usually mixes live longer.

The vet goes, you know, you need to put both of them on like a adult senior diet and all this other shit. And I was like, you know, when I was a kid, we had dogs that lived fucking 10 15 years. Yeah, dude, I had my first dog growing up was an Irish setter and he lived to be 18. Wow.

And it might just be the breeds like Diamond had so much more. I feel like she had so much more pit bull in her than Rottweiler. She does seem more pit. Yeah.

Size and her shape. And I mean, it was weird. And there are some questionable circumstances that I have no way of proving. But when she was at the vet, she had.

Oh, yeah, you were thinking she might have gotten poisoned. Got into some poison or something. Damn it, dude. Yeah, because it was it was really quick.

It was fast, bro. Like you called me and you were like, dude, Diamond was like, she didn't everywhere thrown up like just acting like she got into something bad. Didn't took it to the vet. The vet's like, her heart's good.

Everything. Her chemical levels were all good. And then she's like, that was just like, so we're going to do X, Y, and Z, give you this medicine to give her, you know, and this dog food to give her. And it's all at one particular price.

And then she went on to tell us that, you know, if we went further, it's going to be like a thousand, almost $1,500. So she's like, we don't feel like she needs this extra. So part of me, you know, and your mind goes a thousand different fucking places when shit like this goes on. So part of me was thinking, you know, maybe she knew more than she was letting on and was just like here, take this medicine and go home.

Yeah, sometimes I feel like vets are kind of like doctors that don't give a shit. They're like, yeah, take this bill, get out of here. I mean, and it's hard. And as an individual who had, I mean, my emotions run really high.

I know it sounds stupid, you know, but I for a great big, burly, bike and looking dude, I have your sensitive motherfucker, man. I have your sensitive feelings, but you have to kind of look at it from both sides. You know, here it is. They're veterinarian and you go home and you're thinking, you know, you son of a bitch is you're going to charge me $2,000 to save my dog's life.

But then you got to look at it in terms of how much money did they spend to go to school to become a veterinarian? And you know, they're they're not really, you know, I don't know, I feel like I don't try that much. It would be great to have like a place that was like, Oh, free pack care because we love animals. It's the whole principle of if you love going to work, you wouldn't ask for pay.

Maybe so unfortunately, the reality of it is, is they're they're paying their student loans and everything else off. It's going to cost money. Whatever. Fuck them dude.

Yeah. They could have saved them. They could have been hard jamming. Yeah.

Once in my college duty, bro. Yeah. I'm not aware for two. I have such a media.

The other night. Hell yeah. We were fucking turned shit up. I have such a love.

Hey relationship with that game. I love it when I'm winning. I hate it when I'm losing. Yeah, that's a lot of it.

I mean, you want to get into some fucking conspiracy shit. Man. Yeah, you were telling me about this. Dude, are you aware of these patents that Activision has for what they call skill based matchmaking?

So anybody who's played that game has run into what feels like lag or it feels like your bullets just aren't hitting or you're like, man, I know I shot that motherfucker four times and it feels like he shot me once and I died. And I was reading online. Like somebody posted like a little screenshot of a patent from Activision and they've got all this crazy shit, dude, that I can't believe the general public doesn't know about. So they have this patented algorithm where it's designed to make it's designed to make players that aren't so good, not quit immediately.

Right. Kind of like a pay to win almost or well, that's a different one. Pay to enhance your abilities. So the skill was matchmaking basically the longest short of it is if you are having a hard time, if you're playing like shit and you can't win, the game will actually make things easier for you and and make things more difficult for your opponent.

That's crazy. Yeah, they call it something coefficients like there's like a there's a boosting or I guess a nerfing if you want to think of it that way. Yeah. Like you're it makes you miss dude.

Like it. So so if you're playing against somebody that's had like 10 bad games in a row, right? Like literally if I'm trying to shoot them, it will make me miss your bullets are going to my bullets are either not going to hit. Yeah, magically miss.

So how much of that do you want to put on the the actual specification of the nation of the generation that's coming up? You know, I would like to say that that's coming up is 100% participation award based. So you start putting up like I would blame it on that. But I know it's I know it's just money from from the activations point of view.

They want more people playing the game. But I don't think they understand that they're alienating their core audience because but are they because they're making it easier for the ones who don't want to put the grind in? You know, if it was a level, you're you're right. You're right.

You're using that attitude of you're going to have to if you want to do better instead of practicing and grinding and doing putting in time doing it, we're going to let you buy a package. It's going to cost you, you know, Sports though, man. I played for fucking 15, 16 years and I used to suck ass and now I've got this fucking muscle memory and fucking skill that cannot be denied. I'm fucking amazing at Call of Duty most of the time.

Me, a friend of mine and myself, we used to run just tomahawks in ballistic knives. This was back in the day. That's all we ran and we would annihilate folks. Now it's like, you can tell people that just they're like, oh, there's a new package out.

I'm gonna buy it. And I mean, I'm not gonna lie. I'm guilty too. I bought packages.

I bought like the incendiary round shotgun and it's cool. But speaking of that, did you know that there's another algorithm for that shit? Really? Yeah, there's like one that says if I shoot a guy at point blank and set him on fire, he still has the opportunity to kill me with like two bullets.

No, I've experienced that. So check this out. So I always consider, you know, the big problem most people have with shit like that is extra Bruce. Thank you.

You know, people are always like, okay, well, I don't want to pay a, you know, I don't want to play a game that's paid to win. And there are game models like that and paid to win. And my mind used to be like, okay, well, if I buy a gun that you can't buy that's better than your gun that I'm paying to win. Well, that doesn't really exist anymore because the guns, at least on paper, are all the same.

Like you have just as much opportunity to use whatever I'm using. Right. They have this concept of blueprints, which is basically just like we put together like a fancy scan and put some attachments on it that maybe you haven't unlocked yet. So you can use them early.

It's more than that. It's more than that. So they have an algorithm that's in their fucking patents. All you have to do is go to the US patent website and search Activision.

You can find every one of these that I'm talking about. And it's all in legalese. So you really have to fucking study it to see what the fuck they're talking about. But it's on this one.

It's really obvious. Basically, they're saying like, if a customer spends money that just like the skill based matchmaking thing, they are going to give you an advantage over other players. If you're the kind of player that spends money, which is fucking horse shit, man. So they're like tracking my account.

Like, oh, he only spent 20 bucks in a month. This guy spent like 200. Let's juice him up a little bit. Yeah, because, you know, Steve spent 200 bucks this month.

So let's let Steve have a good month. I'd be a winner. I mean, I'd rather grind, bro. Like I don't give shit about my B.R.

I would rather have it be fair. And like most of the capture of the flag games and hardpoint, I usually end up with my KDR being totally skewed. Like I'll die three times more than I've killed. But my time on target is usually higher than anybody else's on the match because at that point, I'm goal oriented versus like, I don't feel like I need to run around and just to mark people.

And those people you can tell because they have like hours on hardpoint and 800 fucking kills. Yeah. They'll just sit in there trying to get killed, not trying to play the objective. Yeah.

I mean, I'm not going to lie. I've been playing a shoot house and shipment just to boost my guns. Yeah, because I mean, close range. You just.

It's fun though. It's like a fucking simple. It's like fucking new town. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Small map. I wish that would bring it back.

Small map is fun and it is a good place to boost your shit up. Just level up. I don't know. I just miss it being fair, but that's coming from somebody that like it annoys me and I'm sure it annoys a lot of old bastards like myself that I sucked for a long time, dude.

I sucked for like two or three fucking full games and I'm talking like full game meaning like I would play the full cycle. I'd play it like all year and still sucked ass. And I learned how to fucking play and then probably the peak of kickassery was. Do you play black ops too?

Oh, yeah. I played all the black ops, bro. That was actually one of the better ones. It was.

It was one of my favorites. Me and my buddy Neil back when they actually tracked world stats. Right. Yeah.

And they would put your ranking against everybody in the world. I never cracked top 10. Neil did backtrack top 20 in the world for hardcore kill confirmed. That's better.

Like this was back when like the game wouldn't like try to slow you down. So we would just let you run loose. Yeah. We would have like two or three fucking centuries up at a time, a person nice and then and we'd have them on sightlines so that like as soon as you spawn, you get fucking nailed and then we'd have you remember the we call them R2 D2s.

I think they're called AVRs or something. They're like little roving right. Little tiny battle tanks that would run around and fuck people up. What do they call them?

Wilson's now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Wilson's. It was not weird. It was not weird for us to go like 60 and two. Nice.

And yeah, I get that from a new player's perspective. Like, yeah, I don't want to jump in with this motherfucker who's just only me every second. But that's what I did. Right.

So I just died constantly when I first started playing that game. What's to say? I can't in my mind imagine that there's not at least 12 people, which is the normal round, you know, for just team death match 12 people right that you can't find 12 people all in the same rank. Like I'm one right now.

I'm prestige three level one 77. Oh, one seven seven damn bro. One was the last time we played like Wednesday morning. No, I mean, when I played with you.

Yeah. You're like 160. If you did. Yeah.

Yeah. So Dawn going to the gym. That's play time. Usually first thing in the morning because I'm up before anybody.

I can throw the headset on. And one thing I've done because I learned the hard way. I had my headset on. I'm thinking, all right, cool.

Don's asleep. I can play. It's not going to disturb her. And I wear the headset most of the time.

The one day I had it on both ears, you know, like normal, right? Apparently, like her foot gave out in the bedroom as she fell. Oh, she was calling me and I'm like, I'm not going to die. I can't hear you.

You know, I can't hear you dying in the bedroom. So now I like, I kind of halfway caught my one. I usually do that anyway because I can't hear myself. So I don't know how loud I'm being.

Yeah. But so I usually cock one off just so I can hear myself because if I've got both of them on and I'm playing with other people, Terry will lose her mind. She'll be like, would you please fucking stop yelling? I'm not yelling.

It's okay. I'm just super into this. When you look fucking, let me have my thing. Yeah, her mom, her mom called this morning.

I was playing and I'm, you know, I am who I am. I don't like candy code or anything for anybody. So. Her mom heard me be like, just lay out a string of fucking motherfucker.

You know, and she's like, yep, that's the plane is game. Dude, I will say some horrible shit while I'm playing. Yeah. And it's funny because it will turn you into like a mad man.

Like, you don't just wish evil upon that person when you're playing Call of Duty and some bullshit happens. You're just like, your whole family dies. Right. I'm fucking tragic lava filled death from my airplane falling into a volcano that gets exploited by earthquake.

It's kind of good, though, that it has become a love-hate relationship for me, though, because I do like playing other games. So when I get fucking pissed off, I play other shit. Did you ever play Dead Space? Yes.

I've been playing the Dead Space remake. So what is that? You said that? Is that what's it called?

It's just Dead Space. But it's a remake of the game? Yeah, they like rebuilt, you know, so in the same respect, like, think of the way Modern Warfare is now, where it's basically the same game, but it was rebuilt from the top down, like, or bottom up, everyone will get it, where they just like totally redid the engine. So the imaging and the sound, everything's better.

Isaac actually talks now? Really? They did that with many people. They brought the voice actor for Isaac, who only talked in, like, cutscenes and shit back in, and he voiced the whole game.

Now they've got like a system where like, if you fuck around too long, they'll like start making like weird creepy noises. And throw like extra dudes at you? That game alone. That was probably the only game I've ever played.

Like, and I played Scariot. Yeah. Like, I've clenched up a couple of times. It gives you jump scares and there was one.

But it's also just like a sense of boom. You're just like, ah, I'm never gonna get off this fucking ship. I'm just gonna die right here. And it's a really good, like, it's what I liked about survival horror type games, like the older Resident Evils, where, like, there's a lot of times where you're like, man, I really don't have any health.

I don't know what I'm gonna find any. I'm running low on bullets. Like, you have to use all your guns. Everything.

Yeah. Like, even though, I mean, in my opinion, the starting thing, they give you the fucking plasma cutter is the best gun in the game. But they stopped fucking giving you ammo for it. And you're like, well shit, I gotta use this weird ass force gun or whatever.

Wasn't there one that was like a sawblade? Yeah, the Ripper. Oh my God, that was my go to. Yeah, the Ripper was dope.

And I just realized this time around with the Ripper, you can like, hold the sawblade in front of you. And control it. No, I mean, like, you can use it like a just like a fucking chainsaw and just, yeah, fucking mow into guys. Yeah, it's super fun.

Yeah, I'm like you though. If I get bored or just feel like I need a break from it, I'll throw something crazy on it. And like, I've got everything from Minecraft that I go on and that's like my creativity world. I go in there and just.

Yeah, I still need to check out your Minecraft shit. You say you've made some pretty cool shit. That's all I do is I just go around and I just build a village, throw some, you know, villagers in it with the eggs. I'm using like the builder setting.

Yeah, builder mode. Yeah. And then I'll leave it alone and then come back and sit, you know, see if they're prospering or if they've created one of the golems to protect themselves. I had one village I built and I put minimal people in there and within like two days, they had built two stone golems.

They had cats running everywhere that I didn't put there. No shit. Yeah, like, it just starts throwing stuff on top. Yeah, that's dope.

Yeah, I never really fucked with that game all that much. And then my nephew, Hudson. I can't remember all these now. He's like between eight and pin and you know, these kids, man, they'll get on fucking YouTube or Twitch or whatever and learn crazy shit.

Yeah, he was showing me some crazy stuff where you can like basically fly if you create like these weird, like zip lines through the sky. You can like attach your head to something and just like float over shit. They use like all those little gummy boxes or just all kind of weird shit and guys like I'm going to make a flying machine and he's like, I put a this and that. It's a surprisingly deep game.

Yeah. And like the electronics you can do for it. Yeah. We used, I mean, I used to do, you still do.

Yeah. You know, electric, low voltage, electric stuff. And I'm sitting here trying to figure out a simple like switch and it's like, why isn't this working? It's so weird.

But I did build a bomb ass roller coaster. Like what? Yeah, like you start off in this little box and it just takes you up in the mountains and goes all the way around the mountains and then it drops you in on top of this huge castle I built and it's got two towers like one towers all white and the other ones all black and funny story. So this is what I was still learning about like what cats and stuff either.

So again, I was in the shut off tables is what they do. Yeah. Well, they do worse than that or they at least make you feel bad about what you're doing. So I'm building these huge towers and these cats are fucking following me everywhere.

Like they're climbing up the blocks as I'm going up and I just spawned like 50 cats because I had like cat eggs and I'm just like, sponsor. All these cats. And you just couldn't find a husband. So you were like, I'm gonna I'm a cat lady now.

So I'm at the top of this tower and I can't die because I'm in builder mode. I jump off and I hit the ground. Well, my one tower was surrounded by these like huge fires. Right.

Every fucking cat jumped in the fire. All I heard was a symphony of this like they're all fucking dying. Like no, my cats. It went on for like two minutes and I like had to go away from it because I was just like, Oh, my God, I just burnt every one of my cats.

It was ridiculous. So other than Dead Space, I have been playing Hogwarts legacy. Yeah. Yeah.

Terry and I are both on that show. Is that like a final fantasy? Like what? Final fantasy like role play not role play.

RPG. It's an open world RPG and man. It's super fucking cool. Hogwarts the castle, which you know is the school, but it's also a big ass fucking castle.

It's enormous dude. Like you can go like from one section to another. I timed at the other day. Like, okay, I'm gonna go from this tower down to like the quad, you know, that's like one of the courtyards and it was like a fucking 10 minute walk.

It's enormous and I'm constantly running into new shit. It's super fun. They really nailed like making it feel kind of magical, you know, Hogg's Need, which is that like little town that they go to in the house. Yeah.

And they drink Butterbeer and all that good shit. Yeah. And they go into like like the little novelty stores where, you know, where you can buy the Dagon Alley. Is that where Dagon Alley is different place.

I haven't made it there yet. Oh, like that's a place on the game you can get to. I think so. I don't know.

That'd be cool. But in. Yeah, I want to upgrade my wand. You want to have bangers.

So it's hilarious to me. So it's actually the best-selling game. On all platforms right now and it broke all Twitch records last week or the like the biggest game being watched at one time. They had like 1.6 million viewers just watching people play this game.

Wow. See, I never understood that until I started picking up Rust videos on YouTube. I love watching the YouTube videos about own Rust. I mean, they're like, oh, we're today we're going to set up a shotgun trap in.

See what happens. Oh, yeah. And they show you all these different traps they make. And I just sit there laughing at my ass off.

Yeah. You know, Nieb's is. Nieb's gaming. So we kind of stumbled onto it a few years ago.

And it was originally these guys from North Carolina, actually. They're only in like Raleigh, I think. And they have a really popular channel called Battlefield Friends. Okay.

And it was just guys goofing off playing Battlefield and they were doing shit like, you know, trying to jump a Jeep off a fucking building. Oh, okay. Okay. She like that.

But we got hooked on their arc series, you know, the arc survival dinosaurs and shit. Yeah. And other one of my favorite. And they're really fun to watch.

And so I kind of get the watching people game thing. But this was like a show. Really. It was like basically like a podcast with like.

Just got really entertaining dudes playing games. And but the Twitch thing is still kind of a mystery to me. Like, why would you want to log in and just like watch one dude play fucking Zelda. Right.
