Being in community doesn't just benefit us--it has an eternal impact in the Kingdom of God! You play a role in the work that God is doing in the world.  We have a natural tendency to think of our roles in the world as individual ones. We navigate our daily lives relatively independently of one another. We consult our individual calendars to make plans and don't think much about what the neighbors are up to unless their dog is barking non-stop early on a Saturday morning! ;-) While it's a totally normal rhythm to life, God also calls us to a life lived in community.
