TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Hi, good, how are you? Not too bad. We're talking a little bit before. It's cold, even though we're in Florida.

It's a bit chilly. I got my blanket. Yeah, I got my Boba Feds sweater today because, yeah, it's in the low 40s. It feels like 38, I think, of where I'm at.

So it's cold. It's cold. I know, I'll do a ceremony here. I actually got a sometime today in Puerto Rico.

So we're going to have a couple of seconds. A floor audience. It gets under 40 degrees, and we're just confused. 140.

I'm still getting used to 150. It's very good. So yeah, you guys doing OK? Oh, thank you.

Play golf. How was your golf round today? I played golf. I had a great round, actually.

But the most exciting thing I've done recently is I finished Fall in Star finally. Oh, man. You need to talk to someone after that? Someone for the emotional support?

I actually ended up the book pretty happy. Yeah. And I twist away. But it ended up having a note before the thing.

Yeah. Yeah, I know. Last night, I had 100 pages left, and I was like 11. I'm like, I'm not going to sleep until I finish this.

And I binged through it. And yeah. Yeah, I love that book. At some point, we'll do our review here and trying to gather myself for it.

I don't know if I'm ready. Candace, you're up to date on the High Republic, right? Yes. Real quick.

You're OK with the Fall in Star. You enjoyed it. I actually haven't. Well, I'm not up to date.

I have not finished it yet. It's been some things that came up. But enjoying it so far. I'm trying to, like, the past few I really rushed through.

So I'm trying to take my time and really ingest everything versus just be reading it like I did with Light of the Jedi and other ones. For me, this time was the total and first. I usually take a long time between the books. And this one, I had to stop for a week, but then I just binge through it.

Well, especially since we're going to a different era, we don't have as much with these characters coming up. So I want to enjoy it as much as I can. True. Yeah, it's all right.

I think we talked about this a little bit a few weeks ago. Now, we're going to have to wait two years, maybe, before we get back to some of these characters. It's going to be a long wait, almost like waiting for a new movie. But it's going to be interesting.

It's going to be very interesting. So the Fall in Star, even though it's the main novel, it's the shortest, I think, of the main novels. And the way that Claudia writes, it's pretty easy to brush with them pretty quickly. So sometimes you just get to slow it down a little bit.

All right, but I'll talk about that someday soon. But as always, if you're watching us live, thank you. For being here, as always, thank you, Mo, for being here on a happy level Saturday. Like this video, comment down below.

If you're watching this later on the replay, subscribe to the channel if you haven't. And if you're listening to this on the other podcast, when it comes to our Monday, thank you also, and always be with us already on the video wherever you are. But before we start talking Star Wars, one thing I just wanted to say, it is our two year anniversary. We made it to two years, ready to rebellion.

And as always, this is thank you guys. This is all to my guests that have been here helping me out this past two years, all that people in the chat, Twitter, all the social media, thank you guys for supporting us this past two years. And we'll see how far we can take this. I don't know, we'll see.

So yeah, I think that's enough. So if you guys are ready, I know I'm ready. Let's talk Star Wars. And today we'll talk a little bit of Star Wars news.

Yeah, Star Wars news, we kind of came up. Ah, that's all right. Here we go. Star Wars news.

And the big news this week was, I think it was yesterday actually that it was reported. But a few people are blanking on who reported first. I don't know if it was Marathi, one of those big traits that Marathi has been cast in the upcoming Ahsoka series. No World on Hushis Plain.

But Candace, I want to start with you. What were your thoughts when you heard about this casting? Are you excited about it? And fan castings out there are going nuts.

Do you have any idea who she might be playing or who you might want her to play? I'm a big fan of hers. And I actually used to watch passions in the 90s. And she was one of those.

It's a really bad soap opera. I used to take it on VHS when I was a kid. I watched it later. And she played one of the characters for a little bit.

Yeah, I loved her forever. So I initially do a great job there. Also, I'm like, did you want a Gregor slide for resume? And while you're from Obi-Wan?

Because I think they're married now. At least engaged. So I was like, just kidding. Yeah, so I'm like, is he just like, hey.

I heard you were looking for someone. I might know someone. I'm all the excited about the casting. Any idea who she might be playing?

She could be a new character. I hope. That's what I want. I want to play this one.

Play that one. Just give us new characters. We need to move this story forward. Yeah, also just the fact that they announced she was playing Sabine.

Like, that's why I think she'll be a new character. But I did hear someone say like, maybe she could be playing Hera. If Hera maybe has a smaller, I don't think Hera would have a big role in this. But I feel like she would be at the bookends.

If they do find Ezra. Before they go to look. And then after they bring her back. Because she's around the right age to be Hera at this point.

Yeah, Hera is really involved after the fall of the Empire. She's really involved with everything going on. So I'll take on this. I know people out there are saying, I sell the one for Hera.

A lot of people talking about berries, no, some others. What are your thoughts so far? I'm very happy. I love Mary Elsom.

Winslet, Skye High, Tenpore, Helene. Birds of Prey. She was great and Birds of Prey. So yeah, I'm very, very excited to have her play in the Star Wars sandbox and keeping it in the family because of Ewan.

But who is she playing? I don't know. I don't care. I just want to see her in the thing.

Yeah, same as you guys. I want to think that, not ballast me, but I hope they don't do. Every time they announce someone for the Ahsoka series or for Obi-Wan, everyone always goes, oh, they're going to do a flashback to the Clone Wars and see Obi-Wan and Anakin in the Clone Wars. Sorry more.

And then put Ahsoka there. And then maybe Ahsoka shows real time in Kenobi. And then for the Ahsoka, because she needs to meet Anakin and all this. And now bring berries.

I don't want it to go backwards. I just show those things that we wanted from 20 years ago. I hope this story kind of pushes forward. I'm not just relying on everything else that we grew up with.

But we'll see. I've been thinking, if we have to see everything they did in animation in live action, then what's the point of animation? I mean, I think new characters make sense because a lot of people who are watching live action have never seen any of the animated series. So yeah, having these characters don't have as much of a punch to those of you.

No, there's so many people. I know who watched the Mandalorian back when I was working in an office instead of at home. I was talking to people who I never they've never seen a Star Wars TV show before. Because there was nothing live action.

So yeah, if they have like, it's a lot, it's can be overwhelming. If you find out there's all the characters who came before, you don't know where they're from. You gotta think that they're going for a wider audience. And the galaxy is very big.

Yeah, I even saw someone just play Leia. No, see, we don't need to play Leia. Okay, they might look alike, but that's no, no, please. Anyway, so let us know in the comments.

Oh, our friend Robey, to see how you doing. We were just kind of wrapping up a little bit of the news about Marilis. But when studying Ahsoka, let us know. We've got guys things you might be playing.

And if you like the casting, but with that said, we're here to talk book about it on our book report. So let's go ahead and talk some book about it. Yeah, book about it with a little writing. I always, I love my graphic and when I put it, I don't like it.

It's like something's in both of it. They're just so dumb, but we enjoy them. We love them like the little rat catcher droid that we'll get to him in a minute. So Candace, because I know a little bit of these kind of reaction to a series so far was being your thoughts on the series in general.

And then coming to this episode, did you enjoy it? Are they going into in a right direction or things? They're a little bit slow. This episode was what I've been waiting for when we saw that in credit scene.

We saw the like Fennock and Boba, you know, on the phone together. I was waiting to see the two of them like actually like have more interaction. And we find out how did they meet, how, well, we know like from Gunslinger, how they met, but like what happened after he found her? Why is she still with him?

You know? So a lot of answers, a lot of answers. And yeah. Okay.

And in general, you've been enjoying the season so far. Yeah, I I really like the first two episodes. I really love the second episode. Third episode, I got tired that there was that overused trope of killing all like coded native characters just to accelerate like someone else's plot, even though like he was already there.

You know, he was already there. There's no need for it. And it would have been better to keep them. Yeah.

So I felt like it was back to form in this episode, at least. Yeah, pretty similar. We talked about it extensively. I think last week about why it wasn't needed for them to kill the tosses and push him forward.

Like you say, what's already there? But we'll get to it into this as we go on. But yeah, I think this episode kind of picked back up. And some people that might have lost a little bit of faith last week probably came back.

But it's finally coming to what we, a lot of us thought the series was kind of going to be focusing on and he's both taking the throne and seeing what he does with that. Like you said, that was great information though. We're starting to see that now I think it's a little bit too late. It's already passed halfway point.

But the flashback has all been great. It's been my favorite. But hopefully they're kind of slowing down. I'll take real quick your thoughts on the episode before we jump in to more specifics.

Shout out to Arizio. Oh, Arizio is here. Oh, the waffles. The geeky waffles are here.

Well, let's talk about some bonnet canal. Hey, I was yesterday with Trio the forest and I brought up Bonnet. So you guys have inflicted injected that on me. So where I can help.

Oh, I'm totally on board with this. Like I'm usually like, I ignored the fandom ships, but I'm all in with my all in. So this episode, Arizio is also all in with my. I mean, yeah, that's what she's here.

So just once we finish talking bonnet, she will say bye. Yeah. So okay, this episode, I really, really liked it. I've enjoyed the show so far.

Like I said, every week, there is. Yeah, it was actually a ton of fun, like more than anything. Like I totally totally enjoyed it. All right.

So let's go on a start. And we started again with flashbacks, which is, you know what? We're not going to go in order. Let's start right there.

We had. Even with your eyes. I mean, yeah. So we finally had the, she's not even here.

It's already derailing the show. Yeah. We had the balcony scene that we also in the trailers. We were expecting something to happen.

And at least right there, it didn't. But were you guys, oh, yeah, the balcony scene, here we go at least a hold of the hands or something. There was the bridal carriers before you saying, no kiss yet. Is it coming?

Do you guys think it's coming? I don't think it's coming on screen, but I think like the scenes can imply stuff. Which I'm fine with. I can film the blinks in my head.

You know what happened when like the camera went to the credits? You know, they were still in the balcony together. It was very romantic. It was very romantic.

It was very romantic. It's nicely. Is it going to happen? I don't think so.

But I'm totally with Candace. If it's implied and yeah, sure. I'll take whatever I get. Star Wars isn't very good with romance.

We got to be honest. Like they don't have a good track record with it. Yeah. Yes.

I think there'll be something. You mentioned Candace at the beginning that we saw how he and Ben met when he saved during the Gunslinger. And that was one of the questions I had. I had thought that maybe they had a backstory before then that they knew each other.

That's why he saved her. Well, no, he met her there. And then that decision to continue the partnership and we'll get into it. Were you okay with that being the first meeting?

Or did you kind of had your head turned on they knew each other from before? I feel like they just like knew each other's reputation. Yes. Yeah.

I figured something happened like him saving her life did change something. So yeah, I didn't have any expectations that they knew each other. She definitely was me on Bad Batch head. Interaction with clones before.

So she knows the whole deal with that. How about you? You thought they knew each other before? So I don't think the show discards that they could have known each other.

Maybe they hadn't met, but he always had the helmet. So she didn't know how he looked. But I think she like knew who he was and mutually like, it goes like, oh, I'm a fan of it. She's like, well, if it's that.

So she definitely knew of him. So yeah. And he knew who she was. So she said, oh, you're the famous assassin fan chant.

Yeah. All right. So the episode on Robert was everyone's head. Yes.

The shot is great. It is conversion. Yes. On a time.

Yeah, converted the chat. They're just both so pretty. They should be pretty clear. Yeah.

We should go into the marking hour after this. The marking hour. Oh, yeah. It might just turn at some point.

Start with a little Kylo Ben Sol and then end up with Marchion. But we start with Boba back again in the band. This time it was moving a little bit faster last time. Last time I talked to the band, it was a little bit slow.

Today I think he was OK. We got to find my ship. I got to find where my armor is. Kind of scopes the palace.

Too many people. Marchion hour. I also knows it. And then, you know, just keep showing it.

Every hour is marching hour. Yeah. Every 10 minutes is marching. So he doesn't do anything.

But then we see the call back to the gunslinger. It's at night. We see the flash in the dark and skies. And then the little mando whistle.

Not the mandolones are whistle. The music whistle. Sorry about my accent. Will you guys pump when you saw that?

Oh, here we go. This is when they're finally going to. He's going to make fan it and the rest of you hear. So when you saw this scene and then take us into that scene when he rescues, I mean, our skills.

So, rescue is fan egg and then takes it to the models. I love those models. So. Yeah.

So I really like that scene. And I've said it before. I haven't been a huge fan of how they melt the flashbacks. I think they hit it.

But this episode, I really liked it. And when we first saw the flashes go up, I was like, Oh, this is the thing. This is the thing. Because I didn't think they were going to do it.

But I thought the story with them would start a bit later. So yeah, it was very pleasantly surprised with the execution and integrating it to the fifth episode of Mandalorian Season 1, which is my least favorite. But it's coming up a lot, kind of like Attack of the Clones, which is my least favorite movie. But it's come up a lot in the past years.

So yeah, I was very happy with how they handle it. OK. Candas, he meets Fan Xian. Do you like this?

Retelling. What have I been waiting for since the tragedy? Given too. When, yeah, we saw this two together.

And I'm like, I need answers. Yeah. I just need to think, I believe the little makeable little few words summary. You know, it's like, oh, I'm finished.

Partner up. And I was like, oh, it's time. It's time. It's time.

Do you think we're done with Flashback stuff? So this is, it's come up. I talked about this yesterday. Like I mentioned, we try.

And I think, I think there's at least one more of him knowing who has his arm or then following the funding into Titan. And then that's going to be the last one. I think that's the last flashback. And I hope we get another flashback to Camino, either him with Django Fett or something else with Camino.

Because we're going to go two quick shots. It's the same scene that they just cut up for those first two flashbacks. So I do hope they go back to that. But I also wish that any flashback, give me only five or 10 minutes.

And then just keep moving the present time story, which I think is lagging a little bit. But I know a lot of people are kind of, eh, no more. We don't need already, we know what happened with the toss and send why he's now the way that he is. We don't need to go back.

I do think that's going to be at least one more. Do you think it'll be more or we're done? Yeah, get Timothy all of it back a little bit, right? Yes.

I was going to bring that at the end. So no, no. That's fine. We can jump back and forth.

Otty, like you mentioned, you've been kind of, yeah, we've done with flashbacks. You think we'll get at least one more? Yeah, yeah. I don't think we're done.

And I think it's implied when he comes out of the back then, she's like, oh, you're healed. But how about those mental or internal? Yeah, internal scars. Yeah.

And he's like, still a counter. Yeah. Yeah, right. He's finally, he's drunk.

So he's almost as thin as Otty. He's ready to go. And then, oh, and you're internal scars. Yeah.

So the doctor is like, hey, your cancer's gone. And the wife comes in like, oh, and how's your depression? Oh. Like, no.

Yeah. All right. So and then he takes her to the mothers. And this is a mod parlor with everyone enhancing their body with droid parts, which is basically the best back squat that we met last time that everybody had their 20 theories of why they didn't feel in Star Wars, where they did feel it.

And now we see why. So Candace, your thoughts on the mod parlor, is this something that you did? And then, Cine Fennig, how she got the internal droid parts? And how happy the guy was after?

No, you can cover that beautiful workout. We need to show it. Yeah. It was called the thing of, do you know, McNay's son, isn't that Cine?

No. Really? I know someone posted a spoiler about it. And then I just scroll through it, because I didn't want to know who it was.

Yeah, the teenage boy who like, he has like a little scene, will not, will, a little cuss of him. Inside. Yeah, inside. All right.

I know who it was. Yeah. That's her son, which I thought was a cute little thing. Because like, if my parents were in a Star Wars, I'd be like, put me in Star Wars too.

You know? Yeah. There's a little bit of body horror with it. Yeah.

The idea of like, she's not conscious, but it is saving her life. So. Yeah. It was, it's good that it's definitely in Star Wars.

It's not really a extremely graphic, but seeing someone working on your insights with you on countries kind of weird and disturbing. And the ballooning at the end, like the like, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's the way.

That's the way. That's the way. Oh, you thought some of this. And does it change?

I know you didn't have too much of an issue with the West West one last week. What does it change a little bit, knowing that this is this kind of soft culture in Tatooine, very similar to Tatoo culture from years ago, kind of the audience with their monos? Yeah. No, it doesn't change my opinion.

I still like it. That was silly. That was funny. That was Benix issue with it.

She's like, I'm too old for this. The crisis is getting a mod in the belly. Yeah. It's like waking up now with a tribal band tattoo around your vice.

It's like, no, this is about 20 years ago. So Robert decided I feel this thing was a little too long, but that is the only thing I really liked it. It was a bit long, but I enjoyed it because I think it gives us now this backstory to why these kids from the previous episode I saw stand out so much on Tatooine. It's this counterculture, right?

We were talking about this yesterday. I give proton that guys are trying out the force mention this. Every culture and every place has kind of this counterculture. Here, 20, 30 years ago, anyone with tattoos, you got to cover them up, cover them up.

Then what's going to hire you? That's for whatever. Now it's become a little bit more mainstream, but still I used to interview people from my previous job. Then it would come up.

A lot of people would ask us, oh, does it matter if my tattoos show up? If I dye my hair 20 different colors and thankfully, it's 30 years ago, no, it doesn't matter. But people still thought like that. So seeing this on Tatooine, which were a lot of people, well, it doesn't fit these kids with these modifications and bright color bikes.

They don't fit on Tatooine. Well, they don't fit because they're these counterculture kids trying to do things different. We all been through it. So I did like that kind of emphasis on it.

Then just seeing them all parlor inside look very cool with the weird news. They didn't fit too much. We started with fat feet with the scene that they were showing. Then the big thing, they have the conversation.

So Boba Fett and Fennec, she wakes up, what the hell have you done to me? Well, I saved your life and whatever. I need your help and I'm finding my own mind, my ship. Do you guys enjoyed that conversation that they had there?

Then a little bit further in the episode when Boba Fett and Fennec discussing his new plan, why he wants to put bounty hunt in a way and become this diamond or whatever? The reasons that he gave sort of it. All this starting with you. Yeah, I like the dichotomy between the two scenes.

Because in this first one, she's like, OK, I'll help you because you saved me. And in the next one, she like, you see how she opens up to him. And then at the end, she's like, no, I'm sticking around. So I like how it's the same Boba Fett.

He doesn't change a lot from that night to the other. But I really like how we see the difference in Fennec's intentions. Yeah, because she was, yeah, I'll help you just because you say me after that, we'll go a separate ways. And then after he gets done with the soil, we'll go back to it.

He's OK, what can I drop you off? I'll stick for the ride or something like that. Also, we get more with Boba Fett and Fennec, where they decide to stick it out. And then he has a very emotional line when she can say, OK, I'll help you.

And then he, what is it that he says? I place my life to protect yours. With that, you don't have to show the case. But there's intentions behind that line.

Yeah, my friend, we're all like that. It's like a wedding. I saw it. So I think it makes perfect sense.

If you look at Return of the Jedi, Boba Fett was delivering Han Solo, doing that. And then he ends up in a star like pet because a freaking Java, a drama queen, have them go down the plank, you know, kind of thing. And he realizes he's smarter than these guys. And I think he talks to BK about this too.

When he lets him go, he's like, you don't need to be a bounty hunter anymore. Like these guys are idiots. So it's the same thing. Like, you know, Fennec is in the same boat as him.

It has a bounty hunter. And he knows that she has skills too. So I feel like he sees himself in her in a way. So.

Yeah, I love both of those scenes. And also, like you mentioned here, and Tony other different shows, how this Boa Fett is still the bad ass that a lot of people thought that he was. Because at the same time, we didn't see anything in the real trilogy that we didn't show that he was a bad ass. But we've created this notion.

And a lot of people have been complaining on social media, oh, he's being done down or he's too slow, this or whatever. But then we see his intentions. Like, I'm done doing stupid jobs for stupid people, right? They're getting a lot of us killed.

I'm going to do this my way. I'm going to take over. No, because I want to be the big bad head mafia guys, because I know how to do it. And we're just going to go on jobs that are going to be safe for us, basically.

We're not just going to get killed just to get someone else rich. So I love that conversation that both of them have. But then we go kind of leave that serious stuff behind, and we go back to Java's palace. And we have a great scene in the kitchen.

But before that, I love my real probe droids. It's one of my show is my design. And I love that Fannick has this little circular droid that reminded me a little bit of the bigger one that North Morios is just to kind of investigate that twin. And I love how many gadgets she has on her sniper rifle.

She has all the daggers, and she has this little camera droid. Then she comes back with the interior of the palace. How many people are there? But they have to walk into the kitchen.

So, Otty, we have a chiff droid, a sous-chef droid. And we have the little rat catcher droid, a lap droid. Very funny scene, very Star Wars. I enjoyed the hell out of that scene.

What was your thoughts when you saw the Grievous droid just ready to chop everyone down? And then the little rat catcher droid trying to just do his job. And unfortunately, it had to work through colds, basically, to get it in and away from both of it. Yeah, so again, I watched this show very early in the morning, like at 6 AM.

So I have like a late reaction to everything. So once that scene ended, I was like, hey, that was funny. So, yeah, I really like the whole sequence, everything from planning it. I love a good planning sequence, like checking it, doing the scouting, and then all hell breaks loose.

I really, really enjoyed it. Candace, how are you? Oh, last episode when they had that full food bank, what thing? We're like, where did all that food come from?

We're getting answers. We're getting answers. Yeah, I enjoyed the scene immensely, because like you said, it's a good plan. There's like 30 different mercenaries in there.

We're going to plan it. We'll see where there's chainships. Then as soon as they walk into the kitchen, we'll hell break those. So the plan is shot, we'll screw it.

But I love that Star Wars, for some reason, does something that you just need to put droids. But they have a chef, a main chef, and then a sous chef. And they separated. So I love that they gave us that little distinction.

And then seen the little mouse, you know, Bonnie, Troy just thrown around trying to get out. And then just turning himself off when Boa for it, to repair for a 20-inch time. I'm Boa for it. I don't want to die.

I just shot myself off. And then we see him at the end. Boa for captain, he's still there when the other mafia guy is coming. So I love that scene.

But then finally, we see he finds his ship. And a little tear comes out his eyes. So let's get into another controversy. Fire spray, slave one, Boa for Starship.

Do you care that they didn't change the name, but that he referred to it as, we got to get to my fire spray. It doesn't matter because like, Benick may have heard about what that. But I doubt everyone knows what everyone's ship's name is. Like I brought it up on Twitter.

Like when I, my first car, when I was like 18, was a Cammy down Corolla that I named Harold, because he was an old car. I gave an old man's name. And I wouldn't tell someone I just met. I need to go find Harold.

Harold. Yes. You know, I would say I need to find my old Corolla. You know, so it just makes more sense because fire spray is known, you know, people like saying like a car brand or like a category.

I really like your answer, honestly. Like my answer is no, I don't care if I'm a grumpy guy, but I really like that answer. Because it's true. Like if they get to like a garage and there's like 100 chips and he's like, let's go into slave one and she's like, which one?

Yeah. And if she's just like, I need to get slave one back. Be like, what is that? Like, yeah, you want a slave?

Yeah. So you're not doing. Yeah. Just one.

How many how many slaves do you have and you only numbered them? But yeah, again, I don't care. Fire spray is a lot cooler name that's late one anyways. So I do like the name change.

And it hasn't been changed. What other Star Wars data bank and stuff is still slave one still shows up. But I like that they said fire spray. I love the answer that you gave candidates and a lot of people say that also.

I also think people try to defend. Oh, well, people know what they know who's what's they want is a doesn't really doesn't. It depends. Like I don't even think as many people know about the morning in Falcon as Han thinks.

I mean, that's how the movie starts, right? You don't know them in any falco. Yeah, exactly. I feel like people think that their ship is more than it is.

Yeah, like going around calling your ship by your name is a very Han thing to do. Like I don't think both of it's up. They're like, oh, slave one. Although he did cry.

He did cry. I mean, it hasn't seen this. So that's one thing that I didn't we didn't talk about the beginning this time jump or at least in my mind. Because I thought it's memory two or three days inside the sore leg a week or so with the those can rate is and then everything happened.

And so I was deciding everyone in university first with our friends and freighter. I mean, it is true. Yes, internet people know what they're saying before. But did it struck you?

Oh, did that five years had passed already in the flashbacks since? Because again, for me, it's been like maybe two weeks, but now we're already finding fan. I guess it's been five years. Yeah, Star Wars time is weird.

So I accepted. I don't think it's been like two weeks. Like in my mind, he was a slave, maybe like a month and then it took a long time before he gained the respect referring to the Tuskins. I mean, so yeah, he spent five years with them.

Sure. And that's why you know, because I think we were together last week on October in Bik. And I think there was a scene where Pail is walking by and it's like, OK, we're getting to that. It's been five years where you kind of you expected to be this long already.

Where do you think it was still pretty far behind? I didn't I didn't again. Yeah, Star Wars timelines are a mess. We'll get an five strikes back.

But we love it so we can wear it. Yeah, I wasn't sure like when the train scene happened because then we have like the gang try to take their revenge on the Tuskins. Well, they do take their revenge on the Tuskins. Do they wait five years for that?

Yeah. Like, I don't understand like how long he was with them. It must have been some time that he is. I mean, we know for sure that the ride and Bantha from the establishment to the city took about a year considering how slow that thing goes.

It was so slow last week. So are you sorry? I think we understood. We got it.

Yeah, I don't think we were disagreeing with our exam. Yeah, I mean, we can't disagree with our students. We got a man. No, she had a reaction to her.

We'll be nice to her. So yeah, to me, I think, but through me, I'm a little, again, we don't know how long he spent in the Salt Lake and we don't, I think it was only a couple of days because I was a long coach, he survived there without food or water. Unless there's, sorry. Oxygen, remember he got the...

He got the little... He got the little... ...in the shortcut for oxygen because... Yeah, unless there was a way that he saw like, kept in my life feeling influenced or something.

I don't know how Salt Lake's worked. I don't want to know how Salt Lake's worked, they're pretty disgusting. And we saw him again today, the big came back. I don't know if you guys had issues with the big coming back, it looked extremely nasty, but I love that scene.

The big was a special audition. Yeah, the other than the special audition, which I didn't like, in the special audition, that's one of the additions that we don't need, but it worked a lot in this episode. But he gets to the slave one, to the fire spray, and then Fennec Shen is the one that dominates the scene because she just tells him, you'll make sure that piece of junk works and I'll take care of the 20 guys who are trying to kill us. She shoots them, throws them off the ship, he forgets how to drive out of the, get the car out of the driveway showing that he's a...

Oh, but it's like a many times I've been driven out of both of us palace. But then she shoots the little weight, gates open, and they have... That's a very poorly designed gate. All it needs is like one shot to open.

Yeah, it was such a heavy gate. It was a pretty... That's probably guest parking. That's not where Jabba's nice stuff is.

No, I mean, I don't think that Jabba's shable feeling there, but anyway, so we go then to my favorite shot so far in the whole series when he said, oh, I got a couple of scores to settle. And we see the Temptum Striders, this Jabba of Nictus running by, and we got this shot, slave one just coming out through the clouds, burning everyone down. That shot to me just pulled me back and I said, okay, here we go. This is one of those Star Wars shots.

At least one of these is gonna live up there. There's a few in the Mandalorian, but this one was great. And we show, I mean, it shows, I should say, how ruthless it still is, even through everything it's been out. It's been happening.

And then we get to the sort of like, so, Candace, you okay the way he does mow down the Temptum Striders? Which mare space during that scene really sold it to you. Like it was silent and then also like, Fennick looking over at him. But yeah, no, you understand, like that was the first thing he did.

He was like, I got this, we're doing this. And yeah, he's like, before I have my redemption, let me do this little thing over here. Yeah, so there was a, sorry, go ahead. No, I just wanted to say that that shot and even someone like me who has never been that big, both of a fan, that's like an all-time great Star Wars shot.

Like, that's like right there with the shot of the Falcon and force awakens with the TIE Fighters coming. I loved it. Yeah, it was great. But there was a line that I think Fennick says when she tells him, oh, when he, yeah, it's when he says, oh, I'm not there, that was rescued by the Tuscans, but I got them killed because a Nikto gang killed them.

And she's like, again, Nikto killed Tuscans, I don't think so. So do you guys think that maybe there was a live ride the Pike standing the Nikto's with the ones kind of behind all this, or do you think there's something else at play? Or someone else in the Nikto gang to kill the Tuscans? But Crimson don't.

Yeah, because the Tuscans at this point also have technology, which is something that made them more powerful and more formidable. So they probably were thought of as a bigger threat. So you can see a lot of different people like going after them. Yeah, could definitely be the Pike's working like being commanded by Crimson Dawn.

Crimson Dawn. Yeah. All right. So then we get to the Sarlak Pit, which is why you want to go to that place where you almost die.

You were a sequester there for. Did you have a jump? I jumped. There was a jump scare.

It got me. When the big comes out. Yeah. Yeah.

So I didn't. I mean, you know why? Because I got spoiled. It's my fault.

I was on YouTube and someone had the thumbnail was from the end credits of that scene. So you saw when the bomb went into it and I was like, I was like, I was like, looking, I was like, yeah, so my daughter. Yeah, my daughter was next to me. She's like, something's going to move.

And then that jumped out. So it got her. But it got me a little bit. And that's why the big work in this scene, not as much as they did in Return of the Jedi.

But first he's covering the whole mouth of it. It's like, dude, you know, you can't see anything. Just start the lights before. But that shot.

Yeah. You're just coming in kind of tilting a little bit. Another great shot of it. So Otis, Inley, Sarlak, still alive and probably pissed because he got stabbed last time.

Both of it was there. So I was just thinking, like, I had heard people mentioning like, Oh, Bob, I should drop the, what's the bombs name? I can't believe I'm blanking on it. Whatever.

The commissioner. He got scared. Also one in the morning. I mean, I wanted the morning.

Yeah. That's a pretty good jump scare right there. Size make charge. Thank you.

Thank you. Like I heard people mentioning that he should drop it in the in the pit. And I was like, is there an organic waiter that would be the size on purely on revenge? And it happened in the show.

I was like, Oh, that's your organic way to do it. And I kind of love that it happened on an accident. Like she just saw it. Yeah.

She was like, okay. And then both of us like, don't touch my ship. Yeah. So I really like the scene.
