S4 Ep26 The Big Boys on the Gospel of the Kingdom in Matthew

As promised (I need to stop promising things), I read a few excerpts from commentaries from the some of the big names in historic Evangelicalism / Protestantism regarding the Beatitudes in Matthew 5. We can quickly see that despite some degree of wordiness, they still base their interpretations on the heaven/hell and saved/lost paradigm and don't say much IMO. Having to cram every verse in your Bible into one of those two dichotomies will seriously damage our ability to see and discern God's different plans, different hopes, and different ages. #theologyWe will see that The Gospel of the kingdom is not what we either preach or believe today.
