S4 Ep4 : Olympic Bodies

from Life's too short to count almonds · host Meg & Susan

At this goes out we are halfway through the Paris 2024 Olympic games.  There's bodies on display and a lot of body commentary. Some of it is great, positive, inclusive and recognising that 'fit' doesn't have look and celebrating all the amazing things that different bodies can do. But unfortunately, a lot of it is awful. Objectification of both men and women, body shaming, and criticism, so we chat about that. Makingthe most of the good and managing the bad.  We are loving Ilona Maher's instagram posts as well as lots of Olympic themed memes and humour.    Meg's favourite thing this week was Recipetin Eats Dahl - cheap, fillig, meat-free and delish!   Join us for our FREE Diet Culture Spring Clean webinar Thursday August 15. Sign up HERE. We are opening doors to The Non Diet Way in August, we've had to delay by 2 weeks but it's coming! Keep an eye on your emails for more details.
