On top of that, her father and one of her brothers became overly protective towards her, and would dicate where she was allowed to go, what she could wear and who she could see. The experience that Lynn endured as a teenager would continue into her relationships with men, and her story focuses on one terrifying relationship in her twenties, which plays out like a horror movie. Lynn suffered narcissistic abuse, coercive control, extreme jealousy, manipulation, aggression, stalking, sexual abuse and eventually reproductive coercion, which Lynn explains in this extraordinary episode. As with all our episodes, we focus on the positive outcome and the journey through these life changing experiences. Lynn now shares her story so that others can learn the signs of coercive control. The U.S. is severely lacking in laws against coercive control.
