In Psalm 119:105-128 (Nun, Samekh, Ayin), we see the Psalmist (most likely David) point again and again to His steadfast pursuit of God’s Word - to know it, to understand it, to seek the One who wrote it. He knows the benefit of a life that does not walk away from the Word. Even when his timeline doesn’t match God’s, it is His reverence and awe and Holy fear that keeps him following God. He holds both grace and truth, forgiveness and justice in his hands as he walks through life. And the result is a life that focuses on the eternal.
