from NotYourOrdinaryParts · host Jalon Johnson

Norman Barnum is a business executive with over 30 years’ experience in leading both public and private sector organizations as a Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and currently as the managing partner of Barnum Group LLC, a financial management consulting firm founded in 1991. Norman earned his Bachelor's of Science degree with a double minor in Business and Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana and his Masters of Business of Administration from Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and Financial Management. Norman’s early experience as an Internal Revenue Service agent acted as the catalyst for the creation of Barnum Group LLC where he serves an entrepreneurial group of clients for whom he advises on three distinct areas of focus: business acquisition, business growth, and business exit strategy. Norman’s goal is to use his experience and expertise to allow his clients to remain stress free in managing their businesses, assets, and financial goals and is confident that the tools he provides will allow for his client’s success, mental health and wellness, and financial security not only now but in the generations to come. Maybe you’ve done such a good job of “managing for so long” having to do something different or talk to someone can feel uncomfortable. The idea of therapy, to me, felt like I had to admit that there was something wrong with me or that I’d be showing the world that I was broken or didn't have it all together… but when my health started to suffer, and I was anxious 24/7… I realized my body was trying to tell me something was wrong and I learned that there is no “good health” without mental health. Therapy was the answer for me, it helped me put down all of the heavy things that I was carrying that didn’t belong to me. While therapy can provide so much relief, finding a therapist can feel so daunting.
