Psalm 119:153-176 (Resh, Sin & Shin, Taw) continues to builds on previous stanzas. We have seen a growth of passion and depth of maturity develop throughout the Psalm, and it brings us to the final (and somewhat unexpected) end this week. But through it all, the Psalmist continues to show how knowing God’s Word (and knowing it is true and eternal) brings life even when faced with affliction. Knowing God’s Word brings abundant peace, keeps us from stumbling, and results in complete worship. And we can humble ourselves before our Great Shepherd. His Word is Light & Life.
