[S45] My Channelling Story

Listen on:    Here’s a summary of what the full episode includes. What is channelling? Channelling is simply letting energy flow through you from the spiritual realms into our world. When I channel I channel guidance and wisdom, and always with the intention of guiding you back to your own power and inner wisdom. But you can also channel books, art, music and more. In fact, there are tons of accounts of artists, writers and musicians describing their state of creating as one of channelling. They feel like they’re connected to a bigger source of infinite possibilities and ideas, and that some of that inspiration flows through them into whatever they’re creating.  How I got started  I didn’t grow up in a spiritual family and I wasn’t one of those kids that saw ghosts or angels. I was pretty normal growing up, though I did grow into a teenager who locked herself in her room to play with the ouija board and candle magic. I was always really interested in anything different or weird, like past lives, magic and wicca. But I didn’t develop any skills until I happened upon an intuitive art class. You might not thing that an intuitive art class has anything to do with channelling or spiritual connection, but it does and it’s how I got started. The class I attended helped me to get to know myself better and therefore to accept myself - you can’t accept what you don’t know or understand! Intuitive art helped me open up to this other side of myself, the more intuitive and spiritually connected side. It acted like meditation does, keeping my thinking mind out of the way so that guidance could come through from my higher and self my spiritual guide team. The first time I heard a guide in my head It wasn’t really a voice I heard, it was more like a presence, although there were definite words being transmitted. It happened during one of my intuitive art classes, I suddenly had someone in my thoughts with me, and she said her name was Melina. It wasn’t for long and when my focus came back to the class everyone else had moved on, so I knew that something had happened. Even though I’d REALLY wanted to have a guide of my very own, I totally freaked out when Melina made contact with me and ignored her for weeks.
