Titilope Martins-Wakwe is a legal professional with over a decade’s experience working as a corporate compliance consultant, board governance advisor and corporate governance specialist. She is focused on improving corporate performance and ensuring sustainability by advancing best governance practices.  Titilope is an Associate member of Nigeria’s Corporate Governance Institute, the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria and an Associate Member of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria. She is a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association – Section on Business Law and a member of the European Corporate Governance Institute Community. She is also a member of the Young Directors Forum of the Institute of Directors Nigeria.  A Certified Corporate Governance Audit and Board Evaluation Professional, Titilope is the facilitator of the Company Secretarial and Business Advisory Course at the Legally Engaged Academy, an Emotionally Intelligence Certified Professional and author of various publications on corporate compliance, board and corporate governance and company secretarial matters. Titilope is also the founder of BeyondMyLawDegree, an initiative focused on personal and career development for lawyers and non-lawyers.   An ESG enthusiast, Titilope is currently a Managing Associate at Dentons ACAS-Law , a top-tier law firm in Lagos, Nigeria .
