Ava and Mark take shelter with Brielle. She tells them she has been staying in the woods with her mom to escape danger. She offers Ava and Mark a place to stay for the night, but they politely decline. Ava feels bad about leaving the girl alone, waiting for her mother, but they have to continue their trek.
