Formed in Cardiff, Wales in 1978, Young Marble Giants released one – and only one – full-length record in 1980: "Colossal Youth" The sparse, quietly minimalist record was a stark contrast to much of the post-punk music being made at the time, and caught the ear of many including this week's guest, Bioscience Professor and music lover Michael Bruford. Highly recommended!  "If you think the world is  A clutter of existence  Falling through the air  With minimal resistance  You could be right, how would I know?  Colossal youth is showing the way to go."
