This week, we flash back to movies that have lots of flashbacks in them. (Or flash-forwards in one case.)In one corner: The Terminator, James Cameron’s 1984 science fiction thriller in which a machine from 2029 is sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor before she can give birth to the man who will lead humanity’s resistance. In the other corner: Eddie and the Cruisers, Martin Davidson’s 1983 drama in which a TV journalist investigates the mystery of Eddie Wilson, a charismatic Jersey Shore rock frontman who vanished in 1964 and was presumed dead.
