S4E7: Dr Ninakhulu Ntsanwisi, Medical Dr & Attorney

Dr Ninakhulu Ntsanwisi holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care (DipPEC) from the Colleges of Medicine South Africa (CMSA). She is a medical practitioner with a combined 9 years worth of experience in the public and private health sectors. Following her time practicing medicine, and with that invaluable experience, Dr Ntsanwisi embarked on a fascinating journey on a path toward the legal profession, by obtaining her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of the Witwatersrand. Dr Ntsanwisi is now an admitted legal practitioner, particularly an attorney, and she practices at one of the highly recognisable and respectable big 5 law firms in South Africa. Currently, Dr Ntsanwisi’s exciting legal practice focuses on general and insurance dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and governance and business practices. Dr Ntsanwisi also advises on asset and liability insurance, medical malpractice, all risks cover, professional indemnity insurance, product liability and personal injury matters. Dr Ntsanwisi is a member of both the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the Legal Practice Council. She believes that life is for the service of others, be it as a lawyer or doctor, ours is to pay it forward, to be better equipped to empower others.
