Lent, a very solemn period within the Church, is a very reflective period in time. We are reminded of the humble origins of mankind. We are called to be humble, meek, and kind by being sacrificial throughout the Lenten observation.This Year, Lent is quite eventful. We celebrate Lent alongside our Muslim brethren who are also observing Ramadan during this period.May our religious familiarities unite us all, and inspire us to live peaceably.Amen
