S5.01-105 - What's in a Name... "Ferris"

Send us Fan Mail I had the pleasure of talking with Ferris about her name—whose name means “Iron Worker” and "swift". During our conversation, Ferris shared not only the story behind her name but also the strength she embodies every day. Her conviction, boldness, and dynamic personality truly brought our discussion to life. Ferris made me laugh, inspired me, and challenged my perspective on the meaning and power behind names. She also posed an intriguing question about the relationship between names and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)—sparking a fascinating discussion on how technology and identity intersect in the workplace. I walked away from our conversation with a deeper appreciation for how names can shape our identity and outlook.
