S5#49 🇺🇸🇬🇧 "EKKO project, ZAC Bastide Niel in Bordeaux" with Duncan Lewis

from Com d'Archi

In his EKKO project for Groupe Launay (MOA), architect Duncan Lewis wanted to extend the traditional communal garden at the foot of the building into a 3-dimensional green space, protecting balconies and facades from the street. A balance between vegetation, shading and access to light ensures the privacy of these spaces. Vegetation grows both on the ground and above, thanks to suspended planters. The volume, delimited by a light metal structure, is highlighted by climbing plants that create a planted setting. To be discovered in this issue by its architect.Image teaser DR © Florent LarrondeSound engineering : Bastien Michel___If you like the podcast do not hesitate:. to subscribe so you don't miss the next episodes,. to leave us stars and a comment :-),. to follow us on Instagram @comdarchipodcast to find beautiful images, always chosen with care, so as to enrich your view on the subject.Nice week to all of you !
