S5 E23 - Mike Schmidt and "The Backpack"
from Listen Local
BUCKLE UP FOLKS, MIKE SCHMIDT IS BACK! This time though... we dive into a much different convo. We all know Mike from being the Emcee of Lakes Jam, also a former Principal, Mayor, Coach, School Admin and much more. Now... He's focusing on Keynote Speaking, Emceeing events (more than just music), and most importantly... Storytelling. On that note, he partnered with a company to tell his story "The Backpack." The Backpack is about him and his late wife Heidi's story from raising their family to her trips to the Mayo Clinic as she battled Cancer to her passing. Mike really tells all, and it is a story you won't want to miss. This one has all of the emotions. Also, before he leaves the Listen Local crew HAD TO talk a little Lakes Jam with Mike, which is now less than a week away. Tune in to hear about Mikes story, some BLA updates, Jacob's Jet Ski situation, and much much more! And as always... Thanks to our sponsors Hanneken Insurance, Lakes Area CPAs, Hills Detailing Center, Posture Pro Chiropractic, Craguns Legacy Courses and of course our presenting sponsor Tyler Gardner with Pequot Lakes and Gull Lake Sanitation!
