S5 E7: The Disenfranchisement of Conservative Republicans in OTC

from The Omnibus Podcast · host Rep Jeremy Munson

Former Otter Tail County Chairman and current OTC Delegate Andy Bradrick discusses the history and long list of battles the Otter Tail County Republican Delegates have fought over the past few years as the CD7 and State Exec Board continue to come up with new excuses on why they shouldn't exist. Former State Rep and CD7 Executive Committee member and former CD7 representative on the MNGOP State Exec Committee, Tim Miller joins Jeremy to host. February of 2022 the OTC Executives illegally added several (possibly 90 to 100) delegates and alternates after Caucus night. October 19, 2022, former BPOU Chair admits adding delegates, says it's legal to do so because Caucus is not an election, but it's a vetting.  January 10, 2023, OTC Executives vote to suspend 33 duly elected precinct delegates from participating in 2023 OTC Convention. The BPOU's in the other four counties in SD9 (Traverse, Grant, Wilkin, & Douglas) passed scathing resolutions condemning the actions of the OTC Executives. February 27, 2024, OTC Execs devised a plan to create chaos & confusion at 2024 Caucus to prevent the conservative patriots from having a voice in the BPOU. OTC and CD7 Execs require participants to sign a registration form that abridges and denies the rights of people to participate. The form was not prescribed by the MN State Execs, was not uniform with other counties in MN, and contained an illegal pledge. March 5, 2024, former MNGOP Chair David Hann calls OTC Caucus null & void, cancels annual BPOU Convention, and declares that 2022 CD7/State delegates will go forward at all 2024 Conventions. April 2024, the two MN State representatives, who represent OTC, wrote a letter strongly condemning the actions of the OTC BPOU Executives April 2024, Governance of OTC BPOU calls mandatory annual Convention; elected 10 district chairs and 37 CD7/state delegates October 8, 2024, Former MNGOP Chair Hann's lawyer sends out a cease-and-desist letter to 5 of the district chairs. December 30, 2024, OTC Executive Committee sends letter to former MNGOP Chair asking him not to recertify OTC BPOU. March 22, 2025, OTC, CD7 & MN Executive Committees call the 2025 OTC Convention. 37 delegates & 23 alternates elected to attend the 2025 CD7 Convention. March 24, 2025, CD7 Executive Committee votes not to seat the newly elected OTC delegation at the upcoming CD7 Convention. March 26, 2025, MN State Executive Committee concur with the CD7 decision to once again disenfranchise the OTC Conservative Republicans.
