Enjoy!Summary: Albus Dumbledore is one of the most careful and practiced long term thinkers in Harry Potter. He places every little piece on the pile until it all gets knocked down. But Dumbledore puts it back up. Every time. The third book was another great time for Dumbledore to take advantage of the things he could use. For example: the defenses of Hogwarts, the Hogsmeade permission form, and many other little things that didn't quite add up. The story starts with Harry getting his letter from Hogwarts with the  Hogsmeade permission form. Right off the bat there's some weird stuff going on. A Hogsmeade permission form? In the later years the Hogsmeade permission form became something of a formality. The form was only required in the third year. Some might say that's because they only needed authorization the first time you go, but the Hogsmeade permission form is only active for one year. They would need another one for the later years. But they don't. Odd. The Weasleys also seem to have gotten instructions from Dumbledore. In the second book we see how little money the Weasleys have. One galleon and a small pile of sicles. That's it! But in the third book they win the Daily Prophet Grand Prize! The Weasleys then turn around and spend all that money on a trip to Egypt. Why? If they needed it so badly why spend it all? Keep in mind, Dumbledore wanted that to happen. There were many other situations where Dumbledore had influence.
