S5 Ep13: Maddie McCann Part I

A note from Mark: This is a case that needs no introduction really.  We all know the story of Maddie McCann, right? Of course we do... Ever since Madeleine disappeared in 2007, I have been obsessed with this case. Bethan and I used to spend hours discussing what may have happened to this angelic three year old and I think it's what reignited my childhood fascination with true crime, it's quite possibly why I am here right now, writing this episode description. We have had to split this case into two parts - and still, there is no way we can cover every detail.  Part I focuses on the build up to Maddie's disappearance and the immediate aftermath. In Part II we will delve into the various hypothesis surrounding this case...  We would have loved to have been able to release both parts today, but in all honesty, we haven't even recorded Part II yet!
