Join Jamie and Maggie Clark with their guest, Michelle Henderson, as they talk about how to work with children who are opening up and developing their psychic abilities. Michelle is a certified spiritual adviser, psychic medium, author, and speaker. Her experience working with children has led her to train them on how to approach situations that are psychic in nature. She provides an overview of her book, Spiritual Nurturing for Intuitive Children.   Psychic Abilities and Children When children have new experiences, the most common thing they do is tell their parents. Yet, when it comes to psychic abilities, though, it is uncommon for parents to know how to approach it. While it is much open these days, there are still parents who cannot accept these abilities because of preconceived beliefs and subconscious programming. It takes patience and a lot of understanding to work with children. Thankfully, Michelle, with her years of experience in behavioral analysis, uses this hand in hand to help enhance and control psychic abilities in children. The job may be challenging, but for Michelle, equipping children and their parents with the knowledge of how to handle psychic abilities is rewarding in itself.   Religious Stigma It cannot be denied that religion is traditional even up to this day. Because of that factor, having abilities that do not align with what has been established becomes a stigma. So when someone in a religious family starts manifesting psychic abilities, the response would be to suppress it. What they fail to realize is that religious figures can connect to those with psychic abilities. It takes knowledge and awareness to fight stigma, so Michelle is passionately driven to extend support to children with psychic awakening. In doing so, she has become a beacon of light to them and a guide to using their abilities for the greater good.   About Michelle Henderson: Michelle Henderson, M. Ed. worked in education as a teacher, educational diagnostician, and behavior analyst for thirty years. While teaching children with autism, she wrote a book titled A Three Element Social Skill Program: Instruction, Drama, and Technology. In 2006, Michelle opened IASIS Learning Center, a non-profit organization teaching children social skills through drama techniques. With the knowledge she obtained through her life-long work with children, she became passionate about helping intuitive children embrace their gifts.
