I don't know man Um because even my favorite ships They're my favorite for different reasons Some ones are the signs Some are maybe like the legacy of that ship The noise it makes How the blasters sound So I don't know And that's something very interesting Because I remember when Force Awakens came out Came out of my dad said like After the movie he's like This is a Star Wars movie Excellent, it's TIE Fighter, it's a Falcon Because at that time we were still in the A prequel suck But now you know The one that will Starfighter is iconic The guy that I Starfighter is iconic So I don't know what makes a good ship man Like I don't know That's a great question Then I don't have the answer to Man you're a great co-host He just moved the story the way I want to Um I'm sorry He said if you have a question We all have different reasons Why we love Star ships in Star Wars And we're gonna find out Some of my favorites Might be some of your most overrated Or vice versa Before you start it You said you had some controversial picks I might have some I have one that I'm just waiting for people to Come to my Twitter and say like You're a fake fan Because I don't know that ship And I'm looking at one that I'm sure people will say the same about me I'll be fine if it's the same one I doubt it But we've- I doubt it I really doubt it Um but I think it is legacy of course It's like the millennial Falcon Everyone knows No one hates them in the name Falcon I haven't heard anyone say something Or anything bad about the Falcon Maybe when the first images for solo Came out and they saw the landover Should I- What the hell did they do to the Falcons? Do it just wait And now I love it I was one of the people was like What? Yes And now I love like both versions of the Falcon Yeah and the interior With the wire and the yellow accents It's nice Um but yeah I think sound Like the sound they make Is very important Uh but it all comes down to the sign I just forget There's something that I really like In ships in general And I think that's one of the reasons I picked some of this so So I think the way we're gonna do this Will do our first or three favorite Starships then we'll do three on the Rated and then three over Rated Um the over Rated might have Some controversy around it And I'm gonna throw a wrench Into our favorite discussion Which I didn't tell you before And that is nothing weird What was kind of your favorite moment For that ship What kind of made you decide? I can start All right so you say one Then I'll do one and we'll go back And forth These are in order by the way Like I usually know they're not They're starting order Okay So the first ship I have is the Tie Fighter Okay and this is your number three My number three yes Okay I and you know I talked about sound I'm a sucker for that Tie fighter roar Yeah I remember watching those For so we can straighten the I think the last one Start you kind of hearing the background This gave me chills And when I went to see that movie that scene when they High Jack the Tie Fighter And you're just like They're following it There's like a tie fighter on Tie Fighter chase I just love that ship And it's purely because of the noise Like that's like And you know it's cool Like the Solar panels and the part in the middle But it's I'm just like An downward with how that ship sounds I mean the sound is iconic It's the first thing that people say One day oh I love the Tie Fighters because of the sound And I agree the sound It's you know You know what's You know what's Yeah it's like the one I mean it's not the one ship But it's like I think it's the most iconic sound of a ship You know thinking up on Endor Yavin Starkiller base Everything like It's so present in You know what the Star Wars Space Combat is And for me I agree with my bad That Tie Fighter makes Star Wars movie Do you have a favorite version Of the Tie Fighter? Yes I'm in love with the With the I don't know the name The first order one with the Black and the Red thing Yeah the special forces I think the first order Yeah and like the standard one With the The straight panels Not the I think it's Tie the Fender But yeah I just love a Tie Fighter Yeah Tie Fighter And I I'm not gonna spoil my rankings But if I had to choose one I would go with the The first order special forces That Black one with the Red Strip Same with the Pilot Yeah that design is great And you know what I I loved that too I adore that too But I don't think I'll ever get one But you know I've always had a dream Of just doing like a Tie Fighter on my arm I just love that ship Do you have I know you mentioned the scene in the Force Awakens You have a favorite scene with Tie Fighters That kind of Yeah that's the one that Yeah I always go back Maybe even in Masses Castle But it just takes me back to that First viewing of Force Awakens And feeling like we're back We're back in Star Wars So yeah maybe that first scene When they hijack it And then Force Awakens Which is a great scene It's also kind of Oh it's a very fun scene That I'm the movie pick up at that point You know what even that shot With the Tie Fighter crash to the sand Oh yeah I had that as my computer While people were wild Yeah that's a great one That chase is just so awesome I have an intro kind of Alright so I'll go with my number three I guess I'll do it I think this is in order now I miss the fire spray Also known as Slave 1 Or Boba Fett Star Shit depending Where you wanna go Okay But I have to go with it And we're talking now This is a Sentimental pick I think Again Boba Fett is my favorite character So I gotta go with his ship It's I got some Keychains somewhere back there But yeah Slave 1 And the more we learn about that ship The cooler it gets The little base that we got on it In Mandalorian season 2 And then in Bookable I just kind of cemented that As an iconic ship Which also has an iconic I want to not as iconic as a Tie Fighter But it has a certain home of the engine So you can always I've heard that before And then okay that's Slave 1 Sysmic charges Like Well let me get there But yes Sysmic charges Come on There's You're talking about Mountain Star Wars Nothing is better than Sysmic charge And that then takes me to my favorite Use of the Slave 1 Of my favorites I had a lovely part in Bookable Fett When he's just Gunning down all those nicks or riders But I have to go with that type of the clones And just the chase We've all been one through the asteroid field And when we first got the Sysmic charges Like oh my god This is awesome And you know what One of the things I mentioned Like I think the slave one's Canons the last They're also iconic Yeah They sound like hard Like P-P-P-P-P Yeah it's not a little Photoncans or whatever It's It's So it's Slave 1 And I always see how it works On the inside Because all your Upside down Then the ball rotates Come on You can And then it has three names Because people get offended So Five Springs I love Five Springs Five Springs is a great name For a starship So I'll call it the Five Springs Yeah And I don't know For some reason being it When it was still called Slave 1 You can still call it Slave 1 It's like Why did one at the end And every time I was Doing something Or writing something or whatever But it always ended in one That's my homage for theirs I had For my I've been sorry There's a ship called the Nemesis It was the Nemesis 1 Yeah So Well, there you go Alright so what's your number two? Mine number two So I don't know I saw it in Wookie Beat I don't know how to pronounce it So I'll just say it's I think it's called the Gauntlet And it's the Mandalorian Fighter Yes I love that ship And I'll go straight to my Favorite thing about that ship And it's what's seeing it in Mandoshees and Tofenelli When they get to the bar and it's part Just seeing it part Like It's in my direction I just that ship And that's just purely on cool factor Because And it's the whole thing Like the The 5th is go up I love that ship You know Bo Katan Drives one And she's cool And so this number two is just purely on cool And I just want to see like a Mandalorian live action fight With you know As we see X-wings But just with the Gauntlet ship Or Mandalorian Starfire Whatever So is that Come RK Class Fighter And I know because I had it For my underrated I was gonna put it there Didn't make that list Because it's so difficult Just choose in three But yes The Gauntlet Come on Design That You're right When I saw it in Book of All of it And the Enclon was saying Live action is like Oh my goodness That ship is great It's awesome I want one Let's give us more I remember when Bo Katan showed up in Mando I was like Oh I love seeing her And you know He's back off But Ah I wanted to see a ship And when they go to see her And that ship is part I was like Ahhh There it is Yeah because I remember seeing it in Rebels In season seven When she shows up We got it Oh man I want to get more inside that ship And then we've seen it They're even parked in the back We're like With this late war next to the ship Oh my goodness Even before the Starfighter It's like It's like It's like I think it's like a one-man ship Or It's not like a Falcon for example It's a freighter It's a big ship Yeah I guess two people Because Koshka Reese was with us Oh yeah And then Ahsoka gets in Yeah you're right Give us more Yes Go on in Ahsoka Book of Tansion No, no, no, no We can get Ahsoka one in Mando season three Ahsoka Just imagine Time Fighters vs the Mandalorian Conlon, you know, like it's Thrawn or something? I have my Hasbro one From Power of the Force, it's gonna be behind my best It's my favorite ship a whole time Like, I just adore it It's, you know, it's almost a character in the movies Even in Power of the Force, it keeps breaking down It keeps making everything difficult for everyone And the noise, that engine, it's powerful And of course, the cannons from the turrets The sound is also iconic But favorite scenes You know, I'm going to Force Awakens But even before Force Awakens That Thanksgiving, the trailer The dark side and the light Screen goes back and Just that theme kicks in And you know, that God bless J.A. My number 2 is a ship I have an underrated Because I know there's a big chunk of the fandom That does not know about the ship And we have not seen it in live action But we will, something And it's the Jedi vectors From Star Wars, they have the heroic bowling Mm-hmm You know, what we've seen is just like Picture, concept art, and it looks cool But man, we all want to see a Jedi Board that ship and have to stick There's lightsaber inside the thing Yeah, it's a cool design I got my cousin to start reading I don't know, like And he called me Somewhere between Light of the Jedi And he's like, dude Have we seen those factors before? We'll get there in a minute So we finally got rings of power For the past week, the only thing I've been listening to Has been the score That's been out there Two and a half hours And they just released music Specifically for these two episodes I gotta check that out Got the first episode on Thursday And then the first, the second one on Friday Everything else, just on Friday Over like an hour and five minutes This episode And I love Middle Earth I'm a fantastic guy, I prefer fantasy to sci-fi That's why Star Wars is kind of That important thing is always there And then A lot of the rings have been one of my favorite things ever So now when we got these rings of power Which a lot of people have complained About what they're gonna be talking about And I don't know the whole history about it But I'm not sure if they have the rights For the lot of rings I was reading about this Yeah, so they only had the rights for the Appendices in lot of the rings And that's what they show us about But there's not a lot of information about the second age Lot of the rings in the third age So Marillion I believe in the first age Is in the second age And then I think if whatever is on those appendices Is mentioned somewhere else Then they can pull from those areas So they don't have everything Just this little thing And then they're gonna expand into a lot of it Yes, that's kind of how I read it Like they had to You know, even if you have the same events In some other book You can't use that You have to use what's in the appendices And you know I gotta say I'm not a big fan of his Nobody is But he loves the world of the rings apparently And he shows He's just having money right into it Yeah Supposed to be one billion I don't know if that's true or not It's a really well made show That's what we'll talk about I think it's gonna run for five seasons They already had the whole story Oh, I didn't know this I know that they spent a lot on the first season Because they're gonna use a lot of it Going forward So I'm pretty sure I read About two or three weeks ago That when the big vanity fair article Came out about a month ago That it'll be five seasons That they have kind of the whole story They know where they're going That's cool Many has to end with the battle that we see At the beginning of the fellowship They fight in again Yeah, the thing Yes, the thing The skull of the thing When the dark lord gets his hand cut off And loses the one ring And he still don't take it And doesn't drop it in that Okay, the thing Alright, so we said it last week Some confessions You can start So what's your confession about Lord Serb the Ring? You've only watched the first episode I did I've gotten to it I've gotten in the way I saw it for a set I loved it I really really loved it It felt like watching a Lord of the Rings movie It started with the Galatril narrating And seeing the world Only Mountain The place And it had me It really had me I'm interested I do think it did Do a great job setting everything up Because I like it when a pilot just like This is what the film is Like of course it's not gonna tell you everything that's gonna happen But it's very clear Like this is what the show is gonna be And I think this was a little bit more ambiguous I think on Galatril's side Definitely we know what her story is gonna be But the other characters I was a little bit like Okay But overall I really liked it As I told you like Visually it's stunning to watch Yeah I love this You're in Middle Earth The landscape The music The visual Everything works perfectly Being able to put the musical score now with the visuals It's even better I love the intro Like you said with Galatril Kind of narrating first As a younger elf In Valinor And then we jump to the battle Against Morgoth I love first I just love names I love hearing people that can actually speak elvish Kind of say those names And they say Morgoth and Valinor And all these things I'm like I love everything And then Sauron Since Sauron Since Sauron Since Sauron was great Well man Just you When is it coming?
I know This is going to be a For the season 5 That we see But oh man That was so awesome And I think I agree That it didn't do The best job setting Everything up Like Percival Hustle The Dragon I think did a better job In that sense In the first episode But I think it did enough To kind of Start pushing the main story forward Yeah A couple of people say that They love the episodes And both episodes so far But they don't feel the magic That they felt coming out of the fellowship 21 years ago I don't agree And the only reason I kind of agree I think We're following a lot of stories Right now We have Galatril We have Elvish Elvish We have the hard foods With the strength We have a lot of things going on right now So we're jumping And in other words we jumped We were usually like 3 stories But they all were kind of pointing to the same place Right now We don't know Like you said What's going on? Galatril has recognition What are all these other people? And what are the rings like You got all the characters They get together And they split up They know how they're into the night Here's a little bit mess here Yeah plus they're all going to the same place The main issue is Destroying Sauron We got together into Mordor So even though Everyone's doing their own thing That's the main goal Here that you say We still don't know what everyone else is doing But I enjoyed That they gave us a lot of the main characters already And we kind of started seeing what their stories But my reasoning for maybe I don't know the reason For some people not feeling that magic A lot of the rings were basically following What do we love? Looks like Walker Because he was The farm boy that wanted more out of his life And saved the universe Why do we like All these characters are not Jedi Are not Sith Whether we like Cassianando Because he's a regular human being That's going above to save To do the good thing That's the Hobbits The Hobbits have Same as the E-Warks and all that The Hobbits have no place in this war But we connect to them And that's what we love and win in that journey Here we're following established warriors Already halfway on their journey So I think that's why we don't connect as quickly As we did with Lord the Ring For some people I don't feel that magic Because yeah these people already They know what they're doing Yeah because you know it's new But it's also a Calabral And it's also a Elrond And you know even to a little bit Different degree It's also a Calabrian war So I do a good thing for Alright so we're We spent a little bit of time already We haven't talked too much over into power So give me your top three or three things That you enjoyed about that first episode I love the pre-pro-lars I knew that she was going to save middle earth But the middle she's We moved to middle earth I'm like I love the maps I love that they show you Oh yes yes I love that Give me a good map We'll talk about maps pretty soon But I love that I love Elrond writing poetry I mean like Don't And I love Calario I love Keq Danshet So I knew her now So she's cool I'm a sucker for like a Moby Dick Kind of story She just can't let it go And she has to go back She has a chance to you know She does say I want to go home But she can't She has to go back And we know she has to go back Because she's there later on She will be there Three thousand years from now She'll be there Yeah so I think those are some of my main things So you mentioned Elrond You mentioned Galadio I love Elrond in general I love his relationship with Galadio Because I love that he just says it What are you going to do if this is Not what's going on You're going to keep going How many people are you going to die To have them statues Beow for them Come on, push that moment He's like how many more statues So I love Elrond And when he's writing this poetry You don't know what the hell it's for And it's for the king So it's the The speech writer For the king for the king I love Elrond And I know you haven't watched the second episode But we get During We go to Casa Doom Elrond's relationship with Durena with Disa Oh, I love it Love it So I love Elrond the relationship He's already established With these characters Around there I'm not just saying it Because he's played by a Puerto Rican actor He's my old Chris Cordova Which is why he played Queen in Mando season one I love Elrond the year And I love his relationship with Browen And I love the musical thing I love it when I heard it On the score To me it's their version of across the stars He has a presence as an artist Just in touch again So I love everything he's doing so far I love that speech I've said it in every way But where it's like In your poem Yes, and you're like You say the words I know what you mean But say it And then You know and acting That moment when they get told We're going home He's like Yeah I'm like Oh there's a lady And then the third one It's I'm not gonna say it I had it written down Because it's for the second episode But it's something That's Alluded to When Elrond is talking to Calabrine Born They're brought together I mean They're brought together At the end of the project I don't know what the project is No, but the project is something else But what that project is going to be used for So that alluding to like Okay Here we go So those are my top three I had the intro Like you said Morgos, Elrond We all the main characters The music The lens Oh Like oh man This is for second episode There's something that happens on the second episode That reminded me of Shadow of the Sith And I'll leave it there Oh what?
