First Timothy teaches us about the last days and Second Corinthians give us some insight into one of Satan's most effective strategies; religion, good works, and self-righteousness. Some things Christians do in the name of the faith, while not bad on their own, become evil when Christ, his finished work, and the message of rescue from death is subjugated to somehow trying to "make the world a better place" and performing rituals in an attempt to put God in our debt.
