S5 EP20: Andor EP5: Who to Trust?

revealed at the end is gonna be a young adult anthology with all the authors writing either right after phase one or right after phase two close to phase three so that's gonna be kind of the end so a bunch of covers they all look great and I think they revealed that phase three then starts November 2023 so yeah so it's kind of what I thought I don't know why phase two is gonna lot shorter than phase one it looks like yeah so you're turning it out and I was like I don't think we're gonna get a little date because it's just starting but then I remember that they said we're not confining ourselves into like a box that each phase has to be ex-notable you know link so interesting I just hope phase three runs for like four years because it's like we're getting to the end oh man it's it's I think they're gonna end before the acolyte comes out so then it ends and the acolyte which is right between the end of phase three and phantomenas then that cannot start I think that they reveal their story shooting in November with a 2024 release so it kind of makes sense for phase two start November 2023 and somewhere 2024 and then have acolytes right after so okay we'll see if you've been reading the high republic nor hell I don't remember if we talked about it yes I'm very behind to be honest but I'm getting there I'm getting there but yeah I've been most I think I'm advanced on the comics which is which was a terrible decision because I realized later on that the comics and the books are like overlapping so he's like okay well I swear myself that's fine but yeah it's a really good area era and I I definitely think I would not mind seeing live action I know we are having the acolyte but I would love to have live action content from that era yes we all do and I think there is is it the new young Jedi adventure that's also the high republic right that it's kind of animation looks interesting I can't wait to yeah this one but yeah no big reveals just a bunch of the covers they had almost all the authors there so I'm sure for the people there that was great and then phase three starting soon yes the adventure that you start out of the seat oh what a cool video there is right a little bit more than halfway wow it's not a long one right because I got the audio book 340 pages I think I got it Tuesday's this is my busy time at work right now so I had a lot of time to read I read a little bit yesterday a little bit today I just read half the book yeah my mind shipped so yeah oh it's getting there so I just get so mad because if I was in Florida it would ship that same day it comes out but yeah they ship it like they went so long to ship over it's like come on like it already gets longer for it to get here because it has to fly and they just take so so long let it ship the ship yeah I get angry because I'm yes it comes out today and then I go to a muscle you get it between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. and it comes up a quarter like I can't read today it's late so it's also Wednesday and then at least you get it that day I get it that week you don't even get it no I get it maybe the other week maybe Amazon was it that you waited like a month for um rising storm rising storm rising storm yeah I read them like a month after they came yeah because they even got lost in the mail wow whole mess yeah so quick non-spoiler YA book is an interesting story you have more the role and I kind of having some feelings this part of one we know that they go through that so so far an interesting book doesn't it's not that big event like a lot of the jet like a lot of the jet I was so even rising storm so it's a lot kind of more condensed story compared to the bigger kind of face reveals face one reveals they go sort of see he complains that I'm not here on time and yes we'll bring it back in but yeah so far it's a good story I will keep reading I'm probably at my written reviews on time next week I will talk about any podcast guys eventually all right so for I'm getting behind like in brain to power but that's on me but yeah it's exciting to see all the content we're getting right yeah I tell man there's so much stuff out there now that if you don't like something it's for like 20 other stuff you can fall into and you need to get upset about it yes we'll talk about some of it what we do I you know I haven't watched see what but I have a random that you're caught up on all the issues behind I haven't seen one episode but you know what's going on I'm angry I think you already all right we might start with see how when we do a what we've been family just to get you there all right so and I'll say nor how that episode of Canowie that recap that we did which is probably one of the Canowie episode that people didn't like too much it's one of our most watched Canowie recaps so it was the one where they go to Fortes and Quicitorious to people complain about the jacket oh yeah we can all hold it. I was just saying I mean comparing to the people that was in the fandom back in the 90s where like late 80s early 90s that where there was no star wars inside we are really fortunate and we are complaining we're spoiling about stuff like the jacket the jeans guy it's like we said I think oh you always say it's like the Empire is incompetent for a lot of time so of course this is gonna work get on board with it man don't try to fight it all right and there's a lot of incompetence I guess also Nando so if you guys are really unknown really less stock star wars and the android files I was six years old was he was he was waiting for a fight yeah the fine fighting yeah so nor how of course you gotta start with you but mose in the chat from the chat to the live stream next week should be here next week yeah it's definitely of this three episode arc I want to ask you guys about that in a minute but nor how have you been enjoying and or coming into episode four oh yes yes I've been enjoying this is a this is a series that I mean I'm happy with Star Wars but especially this the this time of the period of the of the storyline that we're exploring and especially under Catherine Pébologna I'm so happy to have him back so yeah definitely I'm I'm excited and people some people is like oh but we know how he ends it's like I don't care I want to learn more about it yeah and the great thing about this series and I mentioned it a long time ago it's yes Orlando but we have all these other characters some of them we don't know how the story ends and even if we know it's so interesting like Mon Mothma all her story line is so interesting we know where she said by Return of the Daylight book everything has happened so interesting and without any characters all day before we start was we're starting episode five we keep going with this low burn that a lot of people have talked about with and or the first three episode the first two were kind of slow then we get the action at the end of the third one episode four again kind of not self-contained but separate from the first three as we started this over a three episode arc are you okay with the the pace that I'm also especially for these last two episodes I'm okay with it but I don't love it I don't love the I don't love the format honestly I think like the way it's made I that's what I think I think it should have been released released in bunches of three they released the whole arcs but you know it's their choice not necessarily a huge fan of it I'm on board for the story because even something like an OV that I was like over the moon with it did feel like a movie shot into 60 different parts but each part told its own little story that I think for me like it helped me just like go with it and here they end like abruptly and you know it's okay like that's they way they decided to make the show and you know like yeah that's like my biggest complaint with the show I don't like the format on which they decided to release it but it's fine yeah what are you know are you enjoying the way it's kind of going or do you prefer that the first three we got all those just the same day are you okay with the way it's kind of going now and you're kind of stopping a little bit abruptly especially the previous episode yeah well um I'm enjoying it however I would I agree with OTA here that I would like for example those three blocks because of the type of the story how is it like you said you know we were self-contained episodes like telling the story part of the bigger story but telling one story in one episode in this one is a slow burn so you're going to see the conclusion of that story that we just started in the next one or in the next two ones so I mean it is it is what it is like it's a choice but perhaps a three blocks a rock of three would work better but yeah I mean I think it's like for me like getting upset about it now it's like you know what the show is like yeah even when they released the first three when I was watching I was like okay so when we start getting one by one it's kind of kind of suck but you know like it is what it is like don't get upset because it abruptly ends like yeah that's the way it's gonna work like yeah and I haven't seen people complaining about it yes and people have complained about the pace of it this low burn which is fine for this type of story but I think we talked about it when we did our review of the first three episodes so it's obviously gonna feel for episode four when we start this weekly release especially episode four which is ended with thinking like hey can I eat my food wait 10 seconds and then blackout basically and then this episode is a little bit more close ending because they're kind of doing the flag we're ready to go and then it ends so I agree with you out and with you know how I posted a few days ago I would prefer the release all three weekly do kind of a hybrid it's not been doing it's not a weekly release you still get four weeks of it but in three episode arts you don't even need to do the breaks it was like a movie every time like like a two hour movie every week for four weeks would be amazing but like you said at this point we know what the show is I'm very very interested for the next three blocks if it's the same two episodes of build up and then a big payoff at the end and then I just want to one the end and not might not take too much then between what's saving them is the writing the writing so far is incredible might be some of the best in the past few years so I do appreciate everything that we're getting there I think that's why I can't get like upset about it because the show's good like those little moments we got with him they're once a week your comic I think she was following all the life tweets see what she said about it all right so let's start with some family tensions in amber we had two different families and then someone else posted this or replied to one of my comments that we've seen that impact that the empire has on all these different people's and all four different reasons and let's focus on the family's first I apologize my notes are all over the place so this is my notebook but I think we'll do so that our favorite I don't know what to call our favorite sad boy zero card but getting slapped by his mom now he's getting served soggy cereal with blue meal taking 45 minutes we know it one single bite can I complain stop why was that I have to be very honest the cereal took me out of it and having tasted the blue milk in galaxy said I'm like how does that work it's a different time it tastes like very so in my podcast I said maybe they it's not cereal maybe it's like the hydrated berries or something but it looked like cocoa pop like but it's still milk it's super send milk it really took me out of it's fine like this show is doing that it's really putting to test how we see star wars how real world star wars can really get and everyone's gonna have their opinion that you guys were you guys bothered by the cereal it was like a really common thing I was like I could just I don't know I was like we're in court of something you get cocoa pop yeah I probably want it's the first time we've seen cereal in star wars I expected when it when she put on milk they would have a reaction like raised bread when it's just there and so it's literally just cereal but I mean it's funny well no because again it shows in kind of a child when he goes back to his mom that he needs her to kind of put him his breakfast bring him down like 20 levels and I call your uncle or I know what I gotta quote Maggie Maggie love your friend from either that in her review she mentions that yeah it's something that it's something that you need to see cereal interaction with his mom and like bringing a quote from tat lasso you understand why but with people's mom so just don't understand why they're not yeah so I mean from that interaction you learn so much about them and like he he been like kind of I don't want to say I'm like skilated but somehow like oh yeah like diminished for half she's definitely degrading them yes did it make you feel bad for cereal corn or are you still like it doesn't matter you're still suck no I think and this is fantastic about this series because when you get into star wars you think oh and fire bad rebels do it but this is the thing it's like in life it's a lot of gray areas and and I know we're gonna talk about it later but there's so many characters and in other stories like race loan that joined the empire because they thought oh this is the right thing to do or join the the corpse in the case for for cereal that okay because we have to keep the law and order instead against the people trying to unbalance things so from their perspective they're doing the right thing however from our viewer point of view we are invested on andro from Cassian so of course somebody chasing him and we can see him obsessing over the halo cron and he's telling me like he's gonna follow this javir jambal john kind of interaction with Cassian because yeah he's obsessed like oh this guy slipped from my hands because I wasn't good enough yeah Oti um I just lost my turn of thought but oh because we get his mom can I say I'm gonna call your uncle and then after that conversation oh he never thought that you were kind of ready for your law enforcement oh so what should I be doing what does he think I should do you think he just got pushing to win this coin prequipole because I don't know someone told him or I don't know his life is in such a disarray that I don't know what he's doing because he wants to and what he's just trying to make his mom happy so I really think that the corporal life goes with his way of being or how he presents himself and seeing how his mother is I can see where Cyril con comes from because she talks she's a little bit maybe more loose but she talks like him very proper very so I think like he grew into that and he's like yeah I like law and order what's oh the corporal's yeah sure let me join pre pre more yeah I don't know that whole interaction and then we cut back to it and she's like oh you are extremely wrong about your uncle he's gonna help he's thinking what you should be doing but then he's like yeah I heard half of your conversation just throwing under the bus and she's like oh well that you hear you remember how to mock me it was when you I don't want to be applying the wall right now just get me out of here because this is so tough and you know we were expecting this remember when we talked about the pictures in the when the fair empire I talked to it looks very uncomfortable so yes and it was and like you mentioned you know how and we mentioned it all the probably every episode one of the things we wanted to see in under was this other side to the empire that people are just there making a living and we'll get to deal there we'll see that because in her mind she's doing that what she's also been connecting all this dot and no one else is doing because that's her job yes this is how we do it this yeah all right so let's go to the other family which is the mock some one mottma and paying paying for it and their daughter that we learned like three days before the episode that they had a kid and here you go here's your teenage daughter that doesn't want anything to do with mottma basically kind you don't need to take me to school and guessing because you just want to show your face because you're too busy with where to kind of deal with what's going though you now see mott mottma at different light that she's too busy or caught up with her work in the senate and the rebellion that she has for gone her family and maybe pairing was a little bit right or is he kind of playing her mom against her daughter put it in at us because they just have a failing marriage i got the feeling that he was pitting the daughter against her and that's why i i tweeted yesterday like he's one of the like he's a runner up for the worst dvd thrash dudes of the year i went with circus and cold and yours from shihawk but i think yeah it gave me that impression like uh yeah me you don't care about uh uh like me just just trying to stay safe for your centennial duties but it made me sad at a certain point because it reminded me of uh the interactions of mott mott mott with lea in layup rinses of alderaan and in moving target another book that you see this material interaction with her and it's like oh that's kind of sad i don't know many things get better between them but it seems that at this point they're not they're not okay yeah as a parent i was hoping for more from that scene not to end with her just you know standing up and looking at parent all the time for the support i want her to try to reach out to her daughter and explain the reason behind it or why she wanted to take her to school or whatever but it kind of she kind of was defeated at that point okay what was your sense or anything so i think both can be true i think that um what's uh their daughter's name uh layda layda layda because moe put it on the chat thank you moe so i i think layda may have a reason to be resentful of mott mott mott and she kind of calls her out she's like you're just going for the photo and mott mott has nothing to say about that because maybe it's true but i think parent sees that and it's maybe what i think so yeah it was at one point it was green it's like yeah but when we get to the other scene i'm having difficulties reading parent like he's a douche like definitely but there's a little thing at the end and i'm like okay so maybe you're not exactly what i thought so and i just want to say like they're dynamic if anyone's like you know up to date with real world politics it reminds me so much of the conways you know kelly and george karmon he's trying to take down prom and their daughter's in the middle just making their light horrible yeah you all right it does have that but i don't know are you talking about i guess the the scene where they're going back home or i guess the gal or the dinner where he didn't see he's like oh i guess this senator knows more about your life than i do so he's a child of foundation you wouldn't care about at the same time you're not that much conversation yeah there's that and we can get into that because it's interesting because i think that's how she's moving money but there's that moment when he's gonna tell the driver to take the highway or something yeah and he's like before he touches the button he goes like what was his name so he's like you know he maybe knows he's a douche trying to compensate so i don't i'm having again i don't like him but i think there could be a road for them to do something interesting with him yeah i kind of saw that they were trying to show that mon mofmas not as i don't say great but it's not the one that's doing everything perfect in the relationship yeah he's such a douche or whatever but she might not be putting enough on her part for the family if the relationship is shot then that's fine but you still have a daughter you want to have the relationship and when she gets called out like you said it's like she didn't have a comeback for it so i'm very interested in dynamic for both families all because the empire got in the way yes all right so we mentioned a little bit before again we're going kind of of script of not in order but we mentioned the writing and anyone that has seen some of my book reviews knows i love my quotes my star words quotes some of the things i look forward to reading books and there's a lot of great quotes in these episodes starting with the title for it the actual gets and then we have what's the skin so the actual gets what the three remembers never remembers i'm like okay you're doing something great because this is a line that then goes to what the other i forget the name of the kid that's writing the manifest so namik talking about how the empire hearts is issued to hide behind 40 atrocities than to have us focus on one so yes yeah so again all the kind of real world we've seen the past four or five years when we have to wait it's a new thing that you can't keep up and then we get desensitized and all that stuff and this is it was literally taken from that time period because it was just that just creates so much smoke that you don't have any idea where the fire really is yeah so i love that line for you know how are you liking these parallels to real life basically yes then indeed i enjoy that they're presenting how the motivations of all these characters that we are seeing are coming together and we know what it's going to end up doing this is gonna be the rebel alliance they're gonna fight but at a certain point i mean we can remember rogue one at that point they were like ah what do we do do we fight we don't fight i mean they were supposed to be already an alliance but they were still struggling to come up into a consensus so at this point it is fantastic to see that everyday people coming up with those uh realizations those opinions that a yeah we need to do and it doesn't seem with sndemic was fantastic because you see oh we have this technology that it was so it's so ancient that the empire is not messing with it so we we go and step beyond them so it is it is really neat to see and like going back to that character scheme yeah scheme the with the tattoos like everything that meant and maybe the emperor is not gonna he stops he faces any random empire and a sensitive an officer they're not gonna like i don't know who you are but yeah he knows what the emma has done to him yeah we'll go to an emma so there was two more calls that i love i think one of them kind of ties to zero zero and his mom is when she goes or you should wear something or whatever that you should say i promise to disappoint you which is i was kind of always lapping the face like oh man that's a hard one so it's a point yeah it's a point yeah and then when everyone's kind of talking of why they're there i don't remember if it was keen or maybe vell that's everyone has their own rebellion like everyone has a reason to hate the empowers another trait line i i love that line because it really goes into what the episode is doing casting and learning about each people and their reasons why they're there and it doesn't really have to be like this very ideological reason you know skin has it he's literally there for revenge what was the kid's name i always went mnemonic is like a romantic he has like a romance with the fight and what it means and so i think it's that was one of the most interesting things all right so let's jump into skin and not trusting cation not trusting anyone there and like you mentioned or how he's he's there without his shirt showing his tattoos from prison for a reason he's doing that on purpose for cation he's this a reason he's there without his shirt oh you know what this is great heads or whatever and then the only tattoo is like i've done time i can mess you up quick so don't try anything oh yeah i'll just put your stuff to the side because i need to check it and then as it goes down to the through the episode but the shows are great and i get a great part of it when we made you know so in rokwan she doesn't trust cation we have that great scene with trust goes both ways when she's asking about for the blaster and k2's like what are you doing when i was saying that on android side kind of not trusting anyone people not trusting him but kind of what's a great builder for the whole episode because you didn't know where it was gonna go by the end when skin congrat namik tahik when skin finds the kavik restore it's like i knew it you have a 30 000 credit jewel with you and you're in here in the mud what the hell is going on so yeah it was a great kind of the whole episode just having that trust issues for everyone and also for the empire and we get to that soon but is anyone make of course a lot of people are making our life but who's not making it out alive from next week someone's not making it mamik is dead mamik is gone you think skin is gone yeah you think it's going to die saving and or something or i don't know i think it's gonna die i'm not sure about bale i think maybe one of the empires that she's going to pay the emperor officers just gonna face just gonna take off his face and he's gonna be ariasark yeah she was doing yeah she was on her side and she's going to coral sun everywhere yeah i don't know who but someone's not making it it's either i mean i mean i mean mamik or skin i don't i think skin is gone he's gone i don't see namik making it man like this is like before the rebellion so the way i see it we have to see the empire be like cool like very cool to these characters and these very crucial moments so i think that's where we're going and another thing that i see is that even if okay namik is all enthusiastic and really throwing in his ideals but we saw in the scene where uh casting was telling them about the weight for the ship it's like dude it's not just for good intentions you're gonna deliver a plan a heist to take on the take down the empire is i mean unfortunately like Otis said yeah it's me four the really when the empire was cruel i don't care they're gonna take over but are we planning on talking about that scene with the weight yeah so there was another great thing because he's like he's at this are you test i you see if i know how that was a great great scene that was like my little moment of the week because i was like little moments and yeah we don't need that scene but again it adds to what's happening i love that way way way way you don't know how to calibrate it and again because the way i see it it's a very real one thing like how are we gonna get the ship out of there we'll get to that when we get there yeah we're gonna take every chance we we can but like to a certain point it's like i kind of feel that's the kind of thing they were like yeah no we'll get to that it's like yeah it's a night before the test and you haven't studied like how are you gonna do it yeah and i loved it because it was so simple like there's a lever next to it you pull it and the gauge shows you the way that's it and you guys say oh it's not in the manual it's an add-on come on dude keep up what were you gonna do and at that point you see kasian starting to climb up the ranks a little bit in being a leader because he's like if we're doing this i'm piloting i don't care it's my ass out there like he says i'm gonna drive the ship and then later on when they're practicing how to work to the to the gate and he's like oh we gotta switch because he's a lefty he's righty but we're just left with this that he's he's starting to show his importance and his leadership in the group which i don't know if that's gonna come back at the end of this kind of three-up-is-all-art kind of biting that in the butt but i love that we're starting to see that frame but yeah that scene talking about uh tell us how you get this off the the ramp of what i said like are you sure are you sure it's there it's on the track yeah it's there we see it every day and you don't know how to take it off oh we also make sure that i don't know um in pre-o engineer they mentioned it again we have an engineer coming today are we blind are we getting krenic is it gay lennars or is it someone else we're just gonna see a shadow kind of walking by and we think it's someone we know who is it or who's coming next i was gonna say it's 100% krenic but i just you know speculately this is not the first time that a mar uh uh a Disney show teases an engineer that everyone's like it has to be this person and like remember one division when they teased Reed Richards and it never happened because it was just around the person so maybe it's gailin maybe it's krenic maybe it's just john's around the pool just graduated from engineering school and it's gonna go fix the water or something yeah um what do you think around do you think we're getting gailinary's next week or is it that would be fantastic given me the rebel captain connections like cassy engine but uh i agree with ot i've been burned before but motivation like yeah i know it's gonna be just around them so it's fine i mean if it's gailin that would be awesome because more the more matt's makeles than we can get the better but if it's just around the way i mean it's okay i honestly can see a b like krenic or because it's tony go right i can just see him be like yeah i like working with uh mendelson let's bring him back where i like working with matt's makeles and let's bring him back all right so i'm gonna put my star was credential underlying but was krenic an engineer i don't know i think so i think so i think it was because he and uh gailin came up with the idea for the for the that's star when they went to school like all right i don't think they do too well but i think i mean uh gailin is a master mind like yeah he's probably the guy who like copied the the project but he's an engineer so yeah so when i hear in prior in pre-engineer i go to gail and i saw but if you tell me that just one of the two is gonna make a cameo i go with krenic because it makes more sense for krenic to be there especially kind of going over the plans for this new facility i suppose they want to build makes sense that it's krenic and if it's just in kind of walking down the hallway and that's all that we see i'm happy just give me that the way i don't need to see him just that k just who she buy i'll be happy you mean that scene they cut from a one when he goes into the water with the cape ah yeah just give me that there's a lot of water there in that planet he can just be working with that scene recreate it yes talking about great things in the water we get that tie fighter in low orbit and then just through the water going up come on we now we're seeing x-wing's doing that and tie fighters just but i love the use of the tie fighter because like three weeks ago i was here saying oh that roar it makes me so happy i was terrified in this episode and it's tie fighters that usually like cannon fodder for for the x-wings and in this episode just like one tie fighter could end this whole operation yeah yeah we'll say quickly go hide the gun so they don't know that we're here that's such a douche like he saw them or they saw like let's just pass it like right through them so scared that he watched stop-gun maverick he had to do it yeah but no how as you mentioned earlier from lost stars how people just joined the empire because they think they're writing to do and someone else was on twitter after that scene came out and i can remember which one of the two characters said from lost stars that oh my job right now just is fly my tie fighter and making people remember that the empire is still in charge especially just flying around and showing the tie fighter to scare people and that's what this was but it was a great use it's yeah perfect yeah you know how last week we saw luth and rael very powerful telling everyone what to do but here by the end he's a nervous wreck he's trying to find uh what's going on the radio try to get some signal i forget the name of his assistant or his co-worker kind of hey it's not happening just kind of chill out what was it i just want to say i thought it wasn't a system but she seems to be like very on top of everything very very bold right so yeah but we were thought from that scene nor how scenes luth and kind of disheveled right before the mission one fleeting thought that i had they're not seen was of course we we know he was uh about al dani right to hear back but we're just kind of fleeting i like how what if he's they of course they're not gonna give us any any easter eggs that are not necessary but just a communication with fulcrum would be like oh oh my god because i mean we are and and that's something that we were just talking about uh that hey this show is happening at the same time that s-rad joins the golf crew so i mean we know who's fulcrum at that point so i mean of course maybe they like we know or what we infer at this point is that everything is just spread out and there has some point of contact but even if there was some some connection but nevertheless going back to the al nanny yeah he was kind of like worried that things would not work out but i i i like the character of the assistant and i'm imperial dudes for managing for us for using the temple thing for it oh yeah yes and then he's still human learning the other guys although he's part of the plan oh can we go up no one wants to be all done it's not our first choice can we at least see this event that only happens three years and he's like yeah that's what i want just everyone out of the vault so they can still this is about kasos his human side i want to spend that two days from now all right so again another great episode there wait not yet was a slow burn but it's very similar to the first one so i think that's why it kind of gets all mangled up but it's gonna it's pointing to a great finale for this three episode art next week so very looking forward to it um so now how anything else about this episode of android we full-chain website then all that we had the whole episode there was there is a great very fun back and forth the dynamics between mad and jan waters is great of course it makes sense for them to hook up because it was the chemistry was there but then at the end her whole life is kind of put on display in this man just so you don't care all right you can say that but like no how like you said it's very it's something that mostly women out there go through i can't relate to that but it's very revealing and we said how kind of okay we were watching um serial his mongo ad but this was even worse and it's something that again real life happens out there it's kind of oh it's so gross up this happens for me her reaction was expected but i know that for the people that freaked out of course there's a green hole going nuts yeah no and i agree with you i mean it was relatable for a lot of us women out there and but i think that i just i mean their interaction their devil and and and she was really mad and in jan and it was fantastic because in the previous episodes what we've seen is that he wants to like just have her life it's someone and this is interesting that the guy she hooks up with is lying yeah he doesn't know between jan she whole is the same person sure yeah with his echolocation he perceives this different set of powers but however for him is the same person yeah that's right yeah that's a great way to look at it i didn't kind of think about it that way but yeah because everyone else always has the distinction between the like gender like she holds both or whatever and then here is for for matters the same thing it's the same person which is great because that's what she wants so yeah that was great i hope we get more between them because again their chemistry was of the choice but yeah that ending not the what the best one to kind of look at because again it's something very personal like god kind of thrown there just her having a relationship with someone i don't know if it was with joss and he just videotaped it well yeah it's gonna be interesting to see how then the series end next week how this goes forward how people now view her it was same thing i'm like they're gonna drown the town and then oh no all right so to try to not spoil too much for know how out there but this was the after this whole episode which i expected was gonna be a lot slower it's not gonna be as action past the previous one as we set up the finale next week but it's all about the aftermath to the explosion and the creation of this place i love the beginning of it that it wasn't all the sun explosion and now we're all just covering ash and we're back in this settlement it takes 50 minutes of they're still dealing with everything it is on fire galadro doesn't know where to go trying to survive we don't know for most of the episode well there's also this prequel thing like yeah we know galadro can die we know alan dill can die we know he's cilder can die but the rest i was like i was afraid of for erand derem browin i was like where are they i'll be honest i thought browin had hit it let me do it like these that are a couple times in the last episode yeah because before this we get this alan dill with a fake out with the cilder and then we go to the hutch or whatever we get the fake out with browin when the three old things she said one helping and then we see the hair under the blanket i like oh crap they did it they killed it i was very afraid for browin i'm glad she's still alive but i love us on this episode how fio how fio helps galadro see the past she was going because fio is a mirror for her he's going through that path and she's like i can't i gotta help him out because we can't right now we can't just go battle first episode she was leaving the other else behind because we have to find selron and here when he said oh we gotta go and fight then he's like no no this is not we can't do it right now we gotta go through it and we gotta mention people were waiting isn't she married where's calibon why is she going what's this how brand guy going do you think that what she mentions is right or is she just doesn't know because she hasn't seen him i think she maybe doesn't know maybe that's the truth yes exactly i think that she believes that what she said happened happened but i think it's gonna be a go and they show the horse getting up okay but yeah that scene was heartbreaking scene beryc we know there's that connection that alan they kind of mentioned that episode before that hey no they know your feelings and then here we go he's like i gotta go find his ciildur and so mad at alan he didn't get on beryc and go back to find his son that's the only thing i'll say he thinks i understand i'm like do just go find it but i also think like his sense of duty is bigger than him being his ciildur father yeah and that's something that he's made very clear to him like i'm in charge here i have a role to play and i think like in this episode we see him struggling with that because even at the end when the queen says oh we're coming back and he just breaks down he's like yeah we're gonna kill more of our people just for this battle i already lost my son so that was like he thought that we're gonna leave we're going to go this over and the queen is like new before that scene with the queen region was so heartbreaking he's like i can't really see great uh yeah when they leave i will leave their mouth away i'm out i go um so before we go to when they're coming back and just kind of thinking for next episode then we have your friend dorian and elran are back another great scene we get disa i love everything that relationship between elran and dorian is great but also we have father and son going at it they're they're clapping because we got that moment when um dorian sees the effect of the mithril on the evil spreading and he's like no no no i'll run come over here i'm back yeah and that lee sorry go ahead no i know where you're going with it so yeah they had a fight yeah whatever father son yeah there's there's art we all know that they're doing his father during the third i guess or that he's like during during like elran is saying oh during son of doing son of dorian son of dorian okay um he throws a leaf through the the cavern of mithril goes down as he's ron theory that's so maggie can't put on my head is still valid that's my favorite theory that's my favorite theory yeah but i will say actually i'm from people who are very in-depth with the lore they've told me that it can't be gandalf because when gandalf gets to middle earth the ring's already exist like for for years so it would be like a change there and i think that's fine because they're doing a condensed kind of timeline this is a three thousand year story they can't do that in five seasons so i think that i was thinking further it was one of the blue resorts but again the blue research don't come to like two thousand years from now so i think that's an even bigger stretch so i'm okay if this i don't know i don't think it's gandalf i think they want us to think it's gandalf but i don't think it's going there i'm starting to think that the twist is like you think it's gandalf but it's actually sauron i think it's it can go that way but i don't know because the beginning it kind of goes that way it falls from a ball of fire it looks like the eye when the acolysis show out they're looking at that they're looking for him for a reason yeah they burned out the very well established and we finally get right near like snapping out of it and realizing like your ascension to the throne is not gonna be as easy as you thought just because you were a game doesn't mean you're gonna be yeah because that's that's been my issue with her like she's been like no no i'm the air like it's not gonna be a problem it's like girl you gotta start looking around yeah i mean and it's we saw it from the episode when uh Daemon takes her around the bottom and she sees how the people react like hey yeah reneera is the air but there's uh yeah a male descendant of biserys who could be king so of course there's going to be trouble yeah but but in this episode i think she finally like realized it's like i need help i need i need an army i need people and that's she marries Daemon and finally got to that yes we'll get to it as you got she got it before then they got married yeah so nor how you caught up with how so did dragon you enjoyed the series yes yes i was uh telling already that it's a tenonuela yeah it's like a message with all the like the reactions and such but i think yeah it's having the focus on one family on the tardarians even if they are a lot of them it i think it gets more it is easier if we're asked to like oh okay you get who does what and all the motivations and such so yeah i'm enjoying it it's a good one i yeah i think just focusing on that i just love the tension that scene with the serus just screaming and just wanting everyone to just cut it out and a bomb just goes like look at them and it's just like okay we're doing this yes because i first again aemon goes from being bullying the other target kids to then oh who told you this lies as any kid looks so small but then he just writes out his brother the bigger one that's being a bully and he's like look at them why are you asking me everyone knows he's like oh crap i gotta deal with this oh yeah that whole scene but no how are you then surprised as we kind of start wrapping it up when daman and right now i need to have that conversation that like hey we need to get married i need i need you daman to have this only to have people backing me up and then oh for us to get married leno has to kind of be out of the picture i'm glad i didn't kill him it was a fake death i love because i thought i felt so bad for the dude because he finally was like dude i gotta do my part yeah okay i'm gonna kill you when he's now living his life hopefully i don't want yeah and anything i mean at one point okay yeah we know we know they were not his kids but it's what the the king says and at the end of the day if he recognized them as his kids even if they are not kids that's what matters right but it i thought that it was a better like you said i agree that they didn't kill him he just run away to do his life as he wanted to so yeah you know that's something they changed from the book yeah they called us kill him but i love that they changed it because i was not expecting him yeah and when you see him with the shavings i was like oh but i love how that comes right after he's like no i'm gonna be a father i'm gonna be a husband to you i'm gonna change everything and she's like have a counterpoint you know i'm gonna go away what do you think about it and just coming back a little bit into the episode i just thought about it about people not wanting to do things they are respected to there is when uh Orlys have this conversation with little Luke that he was gonna be the master of the death market i don't want to do something to come in there even even with uh a gone at least in the book and i think we'll get to that in the next episode he does not want to be king he does not want that and when everything starts to happen later on like it's interesting because he doesn't want it yeah all right so it's gonna be interesting as we go for the next episode tomorrow there's another time jump there's a little bit older i don't think it's be serious gotta be dead now come on it's straghenics at this one i think i think the episode starts with his death and then we see him from the trailer auto-high tower and speaking for the king or something i don't know why right now it's not but we'll get into that next week or tomorrow when we see episode about just kind of wrapping up i love also Pauline always talking about that he hasn't been kind of the father he's like i love that the kids maybe not enough it's like oh man it's so hard bro he loves him but he knows they're not he so he doesn't love them all the way he's i also love learning that they really did try to like yeah normal marriage yeah and also i know we talk about a lot of reneera but there was this episode this moment where king able was living through his chamber chambers and he told uh allicent like oh ama yeah no it makes you think like and i know in a previous episode that that that scene gave me the that perception like he really wanted to he loved his first wife but the marriage with allicent was just for because the kingdom needed more heirs and whatnot but he didn't really love her i i think we talked about this but i think that's why he's so like insistent that reneera has to be the heir because he knows what he did trying to have a son what he did to his wife and i think he really regrets it so yeah all right poor rich house areas but like they also said history doesn't remember name doesn't remember blood they remember names nanny's great line yes all right so that kind of brings an end to an episode today talk about between
