S5 Ep24 Delight Yourself in Psalm 1 (Rightly Divided)

We walk through the wonderful opening Psalm. As we look at its treasured thoughts, we are careful to rightly divide the passage. That is, we do as we always must do with scripture, we interpret it according to our current calling.Practicing right division (2 Tim 2:15) robs us of nothing. It allows us to meditate on all of God's word according to the calling to which we have been called in this age (Eph 4:1). Unlike those who say they embrace all of scripture (when they actually just pick and choose what they prefer to pick and choose), right division teaches us to truly find all of God's word profitable while avoiding taking things that do not belong to us.Finally, for 8624th time, I ask a ministry trying to put all of us today under the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew if they're willing to obey Matthew 5:42.
