The rebellion is built on us. I'm going to go down here for the Red River on A Star Wars for the San Joining us today is our co-host Otty and our guest co-host this whole week. We're going to win the guys. How are you guys doing today?
Hopefully it's a lot to talk about today. A lot of cool information about the Mandalorian and the Mando Wars drop will go all over it. But how are you guys doing today on this Star Wars Saturday? You all right, go.
Oh yeah, yeah, doing good. And you know, even though I haven't been keeping up with the livestream, it feels like already a lot more information kind of or a lot more things kind of drop compared to like yesterday. So it's actually a really exciting day, which makes sense. It's Saturday, everybody's free, and a custom teaser with something.
Yeah, I mean, that's what Twitter is saying, right? Because no official teaser is having dropped out there by Lucas watching. Yeah, so okay, sorry. Sorry, I'm happy.
I've been watching until the stream. It's been fun. I still got a while to go. Last night they went until like 9 p.m.
So I didn't watch it because I cut it out just to start seeing Stranger Things. But yeah, it's been fun. No official trailer drops, but you know, Laura and Lauren, they were tweeting out some reactions. So Star Wars Explained.
So we got an idea of what was going on in that panel and we've seen things here and there to get us excited. So yeah, ready to talk celebration and talk more Kenobi. Yeah, and I tweeted this out a few days. I did again this morning or dude, where was that yesterday?
I was about to say something. Hi, did you show it? Did I show it yesterday? Did I show it yesterday?
It was right here. It was right here. Come on. The first episode Kenobi.
Poof, they got to have it like three times. Oh, Kenobi. So yeah, I tweeted it out. Thank you to everyone live tweeting that Mando panel.
They're the real heroes out there. They're the MVPs because without them, this show wouldn't be happening until they just know we end up saying because and we talked the all three days, this lack of live stream of the panels, how it's affecting the audience that couldn't go there. And I've been kind of up and down by today. Being kind of, OK, I know how to follow this now.
Go on Twitter for the panels and then we have the live stream for everything else. They're usually bringing I guess, and I'll tell you yesterday, they usually talk about what just dropped when they started this live stream. They didn't do that for Mando, but... We still got it.
If you're on Twitter, at least you knew what was going on. But it's not the same watching an actual teaser or just watching a bootleg that someone posted on Twitter for two minutes and hopefully you get to it before you get taken them. It's sometimes good that people are live tweeting because then you know what you're seeing when you're seeing. Yeah.
Because I'm not, it's like, wait, is that what I think it is? I don't know. Yeah, because some of them are like, that's just fake. That's fake.
That's a grainy quality. So we don't know what knowing what's going on and then, oh, someone posted this. OK, it checks out. All right, so we didn't mention it officially last time.
But as always, if you're here, make sure that you're helping out with the Amidala initiative, equality taxes, and I'm sure a lot of other states are going through the same thing floating over here. So anyway, you can help donating, tweeting it out, voting, doing anything that you can to help people in need that are kind of suffering with a bunch of the new laws out there. So go ahead, if you can, whatever you can do, you always like to mention that over there. All right, but last yesterday, I forgot to update this.
Today's episode two of Canobie. So yesterday we talked about the first episode of The Obi-Wan Canobie show today. We're talking episode two spoilers of Canobie in our set name, comments on Canobie. Translability, sicklords are our specialty.
Sicklords are a specialty, and that was supposed to be for next week. I had a different intro for today, but that's why I need works anyway. So who's out there? I saw someone in the chat.
Oh, they're there. They all see you in the chat. Ayo! They all thanks for joining us.
Well, we'll have to have a rest today. Yeah, we all made a little bit of rest. So thanks for being here, Dale. And talking to Canobie episode two, we all talked about this yesterday, first episode, knocked it out, especially what we wanted.
Othy, as we now got into that second episode, are you glad that this was kind of a continuation? We didn't have to wait a whole week. And very overall thoughts on the second episode as we get into more details. I mean, I'm glad in the sense that we got more Canobie faster, but I think if, how do I put this up?
I like the weekly release. So if the first episode would have just dropped and it would have followed the normal schedule, I would have been fine with it because it was long. It was a complete story for that first episode. So yeah, overall reactions for the second episode.
I loved it. Still, that Star Wars Nirvana, there's a ton of things I'm dying to talk about. Cameos, moments, connections. So theories, you got to be dropping.
Oh, the Reba theory. Yeah. How about you, Roberto? How are you feeling about this second episode?
And I think he's frozen. So, Roberto, if you come back, let us know how you're feeling about Canobie. So yeah, so let's go ahead and start. These, he's probably come back in a few minutes.
Or live, it happens. Well, he's back. Okay, let's wait for him. Hopefully, Roberto, go back.
You did a lot in front of my first day. When she cut off, as soon as I called her, she got up, and now you cut off. But your overall thoughts on the second episode before we get into more specifics. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
This was actually a really, really good episode. I just continued the energy from the first episode. But one thing that I was disappointed in is that this episode was short. Come on to the last episode.
So first episode was like around 48 minutes. This was like under that. So it was felt like more like maybe 36 or something. And it was a disappointment because, man, it left you in a good spot.
It left you in a good spot one and more. So like, but one of the things that I actually really enjoyed and surprised me is that this has a good pace. It's not like a Mandalorian where it kind of felt like it was dragging the story on. This is going and it's moving and it's feeling like, it feels like a movie.
Yeah, it's one of those things because first episode said like 55 minutes, but then you had like a three minute intro and then it's like seven minutes of credits. And then this one was only 45 and then take away some of those minutes. It's closer to 40 maybe a little bit less. But I didn't feel that it was too short as we were watching because as you said, the pace was great.
We're not kind of lagging behind. We're a drop right in the story. So the episode starts. Go ahead.
And then take us from the, oh, you're sick. I don't know what you're doing over there. So we start on today. So we left episode one.
Little baby Leia has been taken away by Flea and the bad papers out there. It took it to day you and finally can all we get convinced by Bella Gana. Hey, you gotta go help my daughter. There's no one else I trust and forget about Tana Kina what happened.
You can do something now. So it's straight into the action. This is bounty hunters or whatever they are. Take her to day you and we have Kenobi hot on the trail.
He has to the space for it and kind of gets told that. Hey, shut up. We're we're not tracking ships out here. People want their secrets.
So as soon as we drop into that space for Otty and then he gets confronted by a couple of little kids sending drugs or glitter steam or whatever, getting our steam. How are you feeling this introduction with? So quick thought. I just learned tonight that girl Obi-Wan talks to.
That's Ewan's daughter. You know, I saw someone posted something that his daughter was there. I didn't know who it was. Oh, man.
That's so all and then when she says I used to be someone's daughter. Oh, no. So a while back, Ewan said that he had just recorded a scene with someone very important. And then when I was like, oh, who was it?
I don't know. That's who it's. No, it was a daughter. So yeah, are we going straight into the cameo?
We'll get there. So what I liked about this introduction already, guys talking and then through your talk, if you're not going to the cameo, it's when he gets there, this girl comes to him, trying to sell him stuff, different types of spices or whatever. It's, oh, I'm looking for my daughter. She was taken here and she goes, well, you're never going to see her again.
I used to be, I was the one's daughter once. And that just kind of broke my heart a little bit in that we forget about the other people in Star Wars, right? We're just following the heroes and whatever. And there's comments of slavery in that first episode.
We kind of forget about everything else going on in the underworld. And all these different new planets that we love is like, yeah, that maybe 13 year old girl, yeah, I used to be someone's daughter too. Just take a couple of these and you forget all about her. So I kind of broke my heart a little bit.
Especially for Star Wars. We don't see that too often. And then right before the cameo, we saw a kid don't say, if you need help, they said, yeah, that might help you. But yeah, how they tell us about the cameo and then, right when I hear your, here starts when you saw that, a little cameo right there at the beginning.
So I love the cameo. So we say to Maramorisan, he's a clone trooper. By the way, I think he's from the 501st because he has a white and blue armor. So there's that.
And I must say, I really love that cameo more than I would have loved him being Rex and even serve a general or totally coming back. So I really, really, really liked it. And it's that real world thing of, you know, veterans once it was done. Thank you for your service.
And that's it. Yeah. Not much more for you. So I really loved it.
And he looked great with a beard. He looks good, doesn't he? Yeah. I don't know.
I think he had a hoot on. So you couldn't tell it. Hey, I think. No, that was a tear.
It was like, beard, not that. He looked great. But yeah, I'm with you on both of them, you know. And they looked at each other.
Like, like, hey, I remember you. And yeah, so you know he's going to play a part later on in the show. But I think it's a great way to, like, introduce the Clone Wars. I mean, the Clone's against that.
I really enjoy that. But you know, the whole episode from the start really has a tackle the Clone lives field. And so it's something that I really, really don't even know to the drugs, the Clone, the life, the city, not that really feels like that scene in Anakin. And with Anakin, I know.
I bet that there's something that, you know, I noticed the whole, you know, and somebody started too. So I wonder if that's, and I hope it is, that that that will play later on in the show, because, you know, Anakin was ripped from his mother and all that. So I wonder if he's going to throw that into, you know, an open OB face, you know, you took me away from my family. You're never back connected to them.
So it has to. Oh man. I don't know how much we can take. It's already through the grind.
I think like, oh, well, but, um, bail. He's still coming. He's supposed to come out of this crampadly. That's not what they can tell.
I go kill you that. Yeah. But Ben can always not in a bad place when we meet him. So, I don't know.
Yeah. Wait, it's funny we're talking about this. And right now the live stage is Daniel Logan, which I think his daughter as maybe, maybe go of it, I think with that close or, not his daughter or his son, because they were talking about his son being there, but not, not another kid's laughing. But at first they have like this dead stare.
I mean, you bring a young kid to a stage with 10,000 people around here. I'm surprised it's there. My kids will be like, oh, you're on your own. But apart from loving the cameo, because he says, it's very some credits for a veteran or something.
And then you see from the back, it's a clone. And you're, oh my God, that's going to be great. And then of course, it's the more I will with the whole beer. So we don't start seeing all that's retro, or code, or whoever.
But I started to think, what? What can Obi be? The last time he saw a clone, they were trying to kill him. And now there's a clone here, kind of, hey, it's for a change for a veteran.
He has a face, which I, oh man, last time I saw one of you guys were trying to kill me. But I'm still a good guy underneath. So here he goes and credits. And then some stone troopers are getting on his way to get those both the old guys with the new.
But just man, what was going through his head, we saw a clone just hit manage, could just kill you right now and take some revenge. Yeah, that chip's still working. He also has to think like, I played a role in this. Yeah.
I willingly joined the army. I thought I was a part of this huge massive plan to wipe everything out. And part of the aftermath is we have thousands of clones who are just on the streets. Yeah.
Because what happened to a bunch of them after order 66, not all of them went to be clone, I mean, stone troopers or whatever. Maybe, oh, they're just left there like this. Yeah. Ah, so yeah, hopefully like Roy just said, maybe that comes back into play.
We'll see him again. Because again, we think Tamura just living it up on stage, even in the Mando stage, he was great today. But then these, all the key things are coming. Hey, if you're looking for information or something, there's this Jedi that can help.
I'll take it to him. And then we get Kumayo, an Adjani character, Raja, the Jedi, which I was still, I still believe when he came up, yeah, he said, yeah, that he wants to say, I'm going into your mind because he's a Jedi, okay, he's just waking it. But I love him. He did great with this character.
He's trying to help this family get out of the planet because I guess that kid is for sensitive because he kind of says, oh, with his powers, we're going to be after him. Roberto, your thoughts on Raja, the Jedi, that first scene, when we see him, we'll come back after letting that episode. Oh, yeah. He was so good in that as I roll.
But in the first episode, when I had that first Jedi running from the Chrisners, I was like, oh, okay, he's a Jedi. And Kumayo was all, what's his name, Raja? He's not a Jedi. He's a common man.
So because they can't have too many Jedi's running around there this time. So, but he's fantastic. I don't know of his role, what it's going to be. But his sense of humor is definitely working here because I have no idea what his character is.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I love the character. I even more things that will happen later.
But at first I was nervous because I love Kumayo. I love him. But I have this thing with Star Wars actors. I don't always get skeptical when these big names doing Star Wars and it happens here and there.
But Star Wars remains usually more for unknowns or maybe minor actors. So I was like, is this gonna take me out of the show? Is this him or gonna take me out of the show? And I really thought it was perfect.
He was great. He was funny. At first I thought he was gonna be like a Jedi turned comment that he was using the Force of Kan people. But I really liked everything, the magnets and the controls.
It was very fun. I still think that's the good thing. I'm still holding out to hope that he's a Jedi. He's standing on one at the end.
I will talk more about it. He says there's people out there that can help you. If I knew who you were, I would have helped you earlier. So I don't know.
I'm still holding out hope. But yeah, with the magnets and all that. But his comedic timing was great. He really enjoyed that character.
And it's funny what you say. And what you say is what a lot of people say, Star Wars just give me unknowns. So I don't want to be taken out of it. But then when people do fan casting, oh, I want these person to start with the biggest names.
And we just have Joot-Loy announced yesterday. That's huge, by the way. Yeah. So it's like, and everyone loves it.
Joot-Loy is gonna do great in Star Wars. But we also say, oh, just give us the unknowns. But it just depends. Hopefully the character they can just get into it.
Quick thought. The period from when they announced Force Awakens to when we got casting news was the longest period of my life. The name is like, oh my god, where are they gonna cast? Yeah.
Yeah. And then you get the names. They don't like it. Don't go in.
I think he's really, I'm like, yes, I have no idea who they are. I knew Joon-Boye, because I had seen that movie that he was in Attack the Block. I had seen that before. So I knew he was a great movie.
But they secretly know Adam Driver knew the name, but I don't think I had seen him on anything. He was wearing girls for me. So for me, he was. Don't have Glee's on the same thing.
But of course, they had to bring the older cast. But anyway, we digress. Back to Kanoi. So he was great.
And then we went, oh, he went, come, oh, I hear you. You're a Jedi. Oh, there we go. There we go.
I hear you're a Jedi. I need your help. Oh, sit down friend. And then these are my, he's like 500 to find them.
Or 300 to 500 and 500 to take you to her. It's like, what are you doing? And then all magnets and tricks. I love how can I be just like, play this game?
And he's like, oh, I need help. He got a little bit into that Attack of the Clones kind of detective. I don't know. I kind of came back for five seconds before going back to I don't know what I'm doing.
But love that scene. And then he's taken to this place where they make this whatever weird spice drug. Roboto, that scene going to the where they're making all the drugs. And then trying to fight.
And that first one she threw, he just says, ah, reminded me of Grievous. When he kicks Grievous and just does a screen at the center. Yeah. You know, when I was watching that, the thing that came into mind like, like even though he's rusty and all his skills, you can see that his detective work is still there.
The way he makes it way into the way he finds information and the way he gets makes himself breaks into the whole drug thing. And then the whole fighting thing. You could see that. And I think this is one of my favorite little details.
It's like, yeah, make him rusty, make him punch and have him hurt because before that will be like, OK, that's not big of a deal. He just kept going. But you could see that he was struggling to kind of, you know, get through the bad guys. So there's a there's a very curve that he has to go through all again.
And that's one of the things that I'm really enjoying. The little character moments like that of the show. I really love that also because when we got that scene in the trailer of him hand fighting all these guys, and we were all like, yeah, there you go. Hand fight, of course, it's going to be great.
But now seeing it in context and he's struggling against those kind of bonds out there. And that's why you start kind of like, OK, that's right. He hasn't done this in 10 years. And then he plays out at the end when he has to save Leia.
Othy, did you enjoy all men? Ben Kenobi or Middle H? Ben Kenobi trying to fight three people? And then when he finally finds fake Leia.
Yeah, so I think we'll talk about it a little bit more later. But I like it. I like it. Yeah, he's definitely rusty.
I mean, it's been 10 years since he's probably been sprung into action. But he's also getting by. And I think that's kind of also his fear. Like, and again, we'll get to it later.
But he knows that if he wants to, he can get back into it. And I think that kind of plays into what he's afraid of. It's like Michael Jordan coming back from playing baseball. So I can still play basketball.
I'm with the Wizards now. So it takes him a little longer to get that jump shot going. So he's at that point coming back out from retirement. But then he's his old number back to get that power going.
And then he gets cornered by Flea and his henchmen. He kind of throws him on his face. Canobia, whatever everyone knows. So the hell canobia is.
And then I'll thank for the information she must be close. Throw the little drug bomb and go find Flea, which I can see just waxing when he works in. And he's like, no, I'm trying to help him. She just trying to run away, which makes sense.
Right? That kid, someone stranger comes to grab you. He's like, I'm heading out of here. I think at that point, we just had the chase within trying to get to Lea.
Yeah. You got something? Yeah, I just want to say, Lea complaining about, canobie saving him? Oh, yes.
Oh my God. I was saving her, I mean. That's just pick Lea. Yeah.
Like, it's the army. And the same guys with me, Hope. Like, they're saving her, and she's the one calling the shots. Yeah.
I didn't pick Lea the second time. When I watched it the second time, it's, OK, this is very similar to New Hope now. But yeah, it's great. It's her character.
I don't know. One of you guys said yesterday, this is Lea. It's 100% Lea. So I love that.
And then around that time, Reba comes in, confronts Flea. And then goes chasing after about the inquisitors. Also there. They finally come.
They're running quisitors there. And he just kind of drills on her. Like, what the hell are you doing? Actually, things are going to score her points or whatever, of getting her favor.
Then I love this line of why that running quisitor and Rupert friend, his delivery of it is just great. He goes, ah, you're the least of us. You came to us from the gutter. Your ability gave you station.
But all the powers in the world can't mask this tense beneath. And then of course, it's placed out at the end. But the way he treats her is at that point, I was like, he's, if he wasn't supposed to be a running rebel, he's going to kill him at some point, which again, we'll get to it at the end. But again, I just love the way he delivers the land, the way the running quisitor kind of treats everyone around him.
I mean, can we just be anything? But how do you guys talk about that line and all day? If you then want to jump into your theory about how it might work or connect with what the running quisitor told her? Okay.
So let's, let's, let's, let's, let's go first. I guess, um, you know, I, one of the things that surprised me about the show is the dynamics of being quisters and Reva. It's, it's something that, oh man, I, I'm enjoying it because Reva is freaking smarter though. She's the one that got Kenobi right there, right where she wants them.
And here comes the Inquisitor to who thinks he knows what to do. Yeah. But kind of, you know, they have, sort of have this conflict. And this dialogue, this is, this is the thing that makes me really, really excited about movies and shows is having that dialogue, that important dialogue.
Without that dialogue action just kind of falls apart. It just doesn't mean as much. So when you see, when it's, when it's good, man, it just enhances everything. So this, these relationships that they have is like, they would have had Kenobi cornered if they were working together, but they're not, so it gives them an opportunity to escape.
So it, yeah, I'm loving these relationships. Yeah. So I love that corridor because that's part of the thing of the sit and the empire. It's very individualistic.
You work for yourself, sink everyone around you. And like you said, if, you know, they got Kenobi and they arrived at Fortress and Quizitorious with Kenobi and presented him to Vader, it's a win. So we're all of them. But no, no, they're, they can't think about that.
She has to think about personal glory. Rounding Quizitor is thinking about keeping his group in check with his orders. And such idiots. Yeah, because he tells the fifth brother like, you go shut down the town, you go grab him or whatever.
And he's like, I consider it done. So yeah, he delegates to others, not to her. Yeah. And then as we end, it sees fault.
We haven't even Quizitor by the way. Yeah. Third sister, I think she is. Which is.
No, wait, Rebos is the third, right? Yeah. No, we have the fourth sister, which is the other one that was hanging out with them. My theory, I was still gonna hold it to that last moment with them.
It has to do with what happens there. Okay, wait, wait, just singing us along. Anyway, it's almost 5.30. I'm just gonna say for anyone watching, I think at 5.30, that also the JLIPano comes on.
So if they start streaming that, we might stop, I can always talk for a few minutes as we're watching that and then come back and finish. But for right now, so the Quizitor separates himself. And we can only run into the streets. Leah wants some special gloves.
Can only just want to buy her that green tunic. And the glove is like, okay, here you go. Just gotta keep her happy. It's just what we do sometimes as parents.
Plus you don't want to spend 5 minutes arguing where you're being chased. But I think, yeah, I know. That's not the time to be complaining about gloves or not. But then we have Reva not doing as the growing Quizitor wanted and just putting that hit out this then turned to John Wick in Star Wars.
Actually, one of the John Wick writers is a writer in Canova. Yeah. Oh, there we go. Awesome connection.
So we're getting to John Wick. Everyone starts chasing. You know, everyone gets the bounty on him. We have this dinosaur bounty hunter out there, these Raptors.
Officially get dinosaurs in Star Wars and everyone's after him. And again, just gave me that John Wick vibe. He's just trying to escape. So right away from all these scenes, we talked a little bit before we started that there was a lot of chasing in this episode.
They do enjoy this part as then it just leads to Leah kind of running away from Keno. We went and she figured out that everything that's happening to her is because of him. Which will come back in a minute when we talked last week that, yesterday, sorry, that Leah kind of has less connection that can read people and she figures out that, oh, he's holding back your line about something. Oh, this is your fault.
And then she runs away from him. So all that seeing just going all the way to the rooftop. As far as the chase scenes, they've not been okay. They haven't, I think that they've been the weakest part of the show.
And, you know, towards the end of the chase, it kind of doesn't really make sense. It has a little bit, okay. But you kind of wrote it. But one of the things that what makes it still entertaining is Leah and how smart she gets.
And you guys brought a great example of, you know, she's happening to the force without really realizing it. I always took it as, and I was just smart as hell. She could be. She can't be.
Yeah, so it could be both. But, you know, she has a finger on the pulse of Keno. She hasn't figured it out yet. But she realizes that there is something that she doesn't trust in him because, let's be honest, he doesn't trust himself anymore.
So it's just happy that I think you guys are right. She's happening into that, into that feeling. And she's trusting it. She's trusting it to get away from this guy until she finds out what he's hiding.
Yeah, she, one of the things she said, I can't remember if it was before the chase or after she says to him, oh, you're hiding something. You think that less you say Keno the better will be. And it's actually the opposite. Less you say the more people are going to trust you.
So again, that's a whole layer. 10 year olds. They know how to twist a little knife. I think it's the less you say, the less you reveal for exactly the opposite.
I love that. He immediately looks at her and goes like, oh, what are you? This Skywalker is a big step in me. You got how many Skywalker's do I have to deal with?
Yeah. Yeah. But all your thoughts just going through to the rooftop and then we have the shooter with all the bounty hunters. As late as you're showing away because that's when she figures out that they want her because of him.
Definitely that shooter was probably one of my least interesting moments. But it's like kind of what her work was like. For example, that chase, it's filled up with those Lee and Kenobi moments, which were pretty great. But yeah, once they're up there, it's all about him getting too hard and she keeps running away and just like, it's stopped.
And you're gonna you're gonna get named your son after him. Like, trust him, please. Yeah. Come on, I'll get the name.
Yeah, but I I love how that scene ends with him catching her when she falls. Yeah. And I with you, as soon as he starts jumping these little gaps, it's like, okay, there's gonna be everyone soon and he's gonna have to find out he's the voice. And for a second, I was scared when she jumps, doesn't make it.
And okay, here it comes. He doesn't do anything. Thankfully, she grabs onto some ropes and lines. The grip starts falling off and then she falls and he extends that hand.
I was waiting for the force team to jump in. But I'm glad it didn't because he still doesn't it's not using the force. Well, it takes him a couple of seconds to grab her. I started thinking about the amazing Spiderman.
Oh, no, there goes. Gwen Stacy. It's a very Gwen Stacy moment. Yeah.
Again, if you don't know the story, the history of Star Wars, you're like, is this gonna be another hit both working for Can Playa 4 in the ground? Yeah. But then he stops her. He kind of, this face is like, oh, yes.
Thank God I was able to tap into the force for a little bit and then gently puts her down. Roberto, we know we know she's gonna be fine, but what you will for a split second, is it not gonna work? Is someone gonna be down there maybe to catch her because the force didn't work? You know, she's so adorable.
So it's like, and she's in any danger. You're kind of like, no, no, no, no, like somebody we're all like, yeah, yes, seriously. But you know, I want to touch upon something that happens earlier because when they're together, they're running around the city, you know, layers screaming, hey, are you a Jedi? Are you a Jedi?
Yeah. Jedi? Yeah. I was a nobody.
I was like, can you stop? No, no, please. No, no. Please.
But it's yeah, it's also at the end of episode one, where he's going to the ship. He mostly is rogue to show the lady his lightsaber. That's true. Even my daughter, like what are you showing her down for?
It's like, oh, yeah, well, yeah, you're like, keep it down. I came and I enjoyed it. I mean, like you were reckless. Yeah.
Right. So yeah, that tells her the Jedi panel started, but they're not showing it. Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. Christminton is live there.
But I think, yeah, oh, that's him. That's what's happened. Yeah, Philon is on stage right now talking about tells her the Jedi. Okay.
So the Christminton actor had a very cute picture with Peter Mayhew's wife. Oh, yes. Oh, for a sake. Yeah.
So about that moment with Kenobi, I know people, there's going to be criticism of people saying like, oh, like that's like false danger. Like we know nothing's going to happen. But I think that moment's more about Kenobi and the way I see it reconnecting with the force for the first time in God knows a lot. Oh, I mean, I'm watching out that Twitter people live tweeting this.
I was explaining Alex and Molly are tweeting. Who might got in and out? Okay. So Philon is talking.
There's going to be an Ahsoka episode. And this is tells her the Jedi, which is a new animated anthology series coming out. And Ahsoka episode and a young dukus story and this concept are of a young Count dukus. Oh, let me see if I can just going to share this picture real quick.
Let me just share my screen. Yeah, I know. This one. Oh, he looks great.
Oh, you guys are watching there. There you are, man. So it's like, oh, it's a good conewars animation. Cool.
Yes. Yeah. Yeah. This might be cool.
I mean, I thought it was going to be cool anyways, but I'm going to we'll come back to the next. It's a little mix of the rebels and carnivores. Like a little bit more metal between those two. So I want to add now.
Do you say they have that clonewars and rebel mix? We talked yesterday about the John Watts show Star Wars skeleton crew. And Chris and Harlow, if you're in Star Wars, Twitter, you know, who Chris and Harlow is, he posted on his Instagram Instagram, yesterday that he ran into John Watts. They spoke for a little bit and the John Watts told him that the show is going to have a real Clone Wars feel.
So that's kind of interesting to see a live action cannot Clone Wars feel after Return of the Jedi. It might be something very cool. So who are I? I actually think that's something they mentioned in the showcase.
They said it's for kids, but like how Clone Wars is for kids. Yeah. Yeah. What I heard is it's for kids, but it's a kids show or it's with kids, which is not a kids show.
Exactly. Exactly. I always eat baby. Thank Chris.
Like kid. That wasn't a good Pinterest. Oh, no, but he's young enough, right? Whoa, what's the stream?
Yeah. So again, thanks. Moly and everyone over there. I was explaining Alex.
So what's it's like, they've only said that he's been Katie all day. Was going to be more open in this panel. So we might get a bunch of reveals for that. Also the data.
Maybe I got to remember it. Probably not, but we'll keep an eye on that. So yeah, John Leia falls, can we kind of put her down and then they go to hide for a little and that's when she kind of goes, oh, you are a Jedi. She finally believes that he's a Jedi.
And the long sound everyone's after Kenobi, she's taking out. Someone comes out, confronts them. He opacots the guy knocking out for 10 minutes and then takes off his little on hologram that has, can always face. And that's when we get Raya comes back.
Cuman, I didn't get out of the comes back and he cannot tell. Hey, he takes this. It's over the Shodan de Pois, but there is a cargo port. They're not going to be looking for you.
Go over there. Oh, why are you doing this? And that's when he cannot say this. People over there that can help you.
I forget the name of the planet that he sends them to. Why are you helping this? Oh, because I'm trying to make a mens. I held that from the help yours and then he always says, Raya, why are you doing this?
I said, oh, you remember my name. And again, goes to the character of Kenobi. These bottom feet are red. I call him like pretty mean, I said, you are red, but the rest know more about the sewers than the other.
Oh, you remember my name. And I think that's then going to bring this character back because he doesn't get killed. He survived. So I'll tell you, talking a little bit more about Raya, he's trying to make a mens.
What's going on? That's why I love them with the character because it was something that Claudia Gray was talking about in the High Republic panel. She said something special about Star Wars characters is that they're both archetypes, but also individuals. And a character, once you meet him, you put him in a box.
Oh, he's this, this, and this. But when we get to know him, we start saying, oh, they're playing on those stereotypes or on those character archetypes. So they did that here. And I love that bait and switch when the kid tells him, oh, they're after him.
And he gets a blast on it. He's like, then we better get to him first. And I'm like, oh, god. So how they played on that?
I loved it. And Robert, I want you to say what you thought about it. But I'm going to throw something in here that's irresponsible speculation. Apart from giving him that key, he gives him something when he tells him, there's people there that can help you.
And it's just a black card. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. There's one. OK. No.
OK. So that lead to a different show that they didn't say. But it would make sense. It would make sense.
And I'm just fucking saying, man, man, I'm going to go in. But yeah, I don't trust him. I don't trust him because we don't have the comteges moment with him. He's kind of like, oh, OK, let's go get him.
And you think, oh, they're going to get a bouncy. And then he helps them. So it's like, there isn't that thing that makes us well, makes me believe that he turned. Unless he's a Jedi fanboy.
And he's like, oh, he's a Jedi. We've got to help him. And it makes sense. He's dressed up as a Jedi.
He's doing this Jedi, coughing. So maybe he believes in it. And he actually met up first. For the first time, it's like, man, I'm actually a Jedi.
That's this one. So I think until we get a little bit more, I don't trust him. OK. OK.
Before you go, sorry. Go ahead. Finish up, Roberta. No, no, that's it.
Go ahead. So before you go, I trust him. And I still believe that he's some sort of Jedi. He's a while.
I got to help him. I trust him. But when he's, oh, I forget the whole line. We say, oh, do I?
He says something. Do I like doing this? Yes. Do I like credit?
A little bit. Or somewhat. You can buy a bunch of stuff with credit. So he's committing climbing.
And he's the whole character works great. But when he cannot say it at the end, if I knew who you were, what I helped you earlier, I was like, oh, man, there's still. I think there's something that's still hidden. That we're going to find something about this character.
That's going to be OK. OK. OK. I understand what he's doing.
Maybe he's not a Jedi, but maybe he knows about them. He knows too much right now about how did I operate. I push back a little bit of that, because I always like the Star Wars thing, like ordinary people can do extraordinary things. So I think that would take that away a little bit.
But maybe he worked in the temple. Maybe he had a Monday job at the temple. He knew about the Jedi and all that stuff. And I'll take that.
All right. So yeah, no, go ahead with your in-responsible speculating about that sub-card that which I didn't think I thought. Yeah, just give this to someone and then don't know that I sent you about. So OK, we see Sabbak.
We think of two characters, Han and Mando. Han, for God's sake, I want solo. I want all the never right, but please, no, no, no. Like Han and Leia meeting with their children.
No, please, God, no, no. And I kind of fall in that territory with Lando. A bit more open to it, but yeah. But the character I'm going for is Han-Do.
Han-Do. Han-Do, he 100% fits this show. If it's Han-Do, I bet it can only go like, we'll take our chances with the inquisitors. Let's go.
