Oh, yes. A lot to get to. Yeah, I want to personally thank you again for being here last week. I know I'm guessing, but just from being out here, just watching all the panels, everything going on live on following everyone's Twitter feed.
It's a lot. It's a lot to be over there and then trying to find time to jump into podcast. So just those 45 minutes or whatever you were with us last week, truly enjoy. So thank you.

So if you guys already know I'm ready. So let's talk about Star Wars, new. And for Star Wars, new celebration. So Lauren will do a quick recap of stock celebration after what was it two years of not having an acceleration because of COVID.
It came back with three years, I guess, whatever it was. So just your whole experience. You were there. This is your second celebration, right?
Yep. So I went to Chicago 2019 and I was able, fortunate enough to go to Anaheim this year. And it was amazing. I mean, really, if you are a Star Wars fan and you get the opportunity to go to one hundred percent, you need to go because just the atmosphere alone is just so fun.
You run into people. I mean, I ran into so many of our friends from Twitter, which was so, so, so, so much fun. And then just, you know, seeing the cosplays again was a lot of fun. And then, you know, I was fortunate enough to get into the Mando panel on Saturday, which was big one.
There was a lot of awesome stuff that they showed us, some behind the scenes stuff. And then obviously we got some Ahsoka footage, which one? Yes. That's been on my brain for seven days.
So I, yeah, it was, it was a great time. It was a great time. I was able to get into Star Wars night, went to bat two. That was amazing.
Did the right of the resistance. That was great. But yeah, celebration, it meant expectation. There's only here.
Just in time. Quick thing, the minute, I read the minute, my computer booted up, the lights went out. Thankfully, I came back quickly because sometimes it could be like two or three hours, but I would like to listen. It's Puerto Rico.
We know. Yeah. So, all thing you were watching your phone, but we're just gonna recap it celebration a little bit. Lauren, take a hard time over there.
So, Lauren, are you, you're rested, it's been a week since celebration. Are you feeling that kind of feeling you want to be back there? You're missing it? Everyone's right now, just missing it.
Yeah, it is. It's one of those like, kind of wish I could go back and just hang out with everybody. I mean, that was one of the best things is just running into people during the convention and just talking to them. I mean, talking Star Wars, talking about whatever, you know, we were talking about.
Like, it was just a lot of fun meeting all the people that I've met on Twitter. And then again, the panels were great. I got into the Star Wars Explained panel. I saw Friends of the Force and the pocket stage.
That was really fun. I saw the Bad Batch stuff. That was amazing. So just, yeah, it's a great time.
And if you can, they're able to go highly recommend if you're a Star Wars fan to go to a celebration. Yeah, I was hoping that they will do the next one in Orlando, but I didn't find out. I knew I kind of knew they're probably going back to London. It's been a while ago, but hopefully when they come back, but yeah.
Laura, you're planning to go to London or? No, no, that's a big. That's a big one. Yeah, I mean, Callie was again, from where I am.
Yeah, it was expensive. So I didn't even think about it when I stopped London. I was like, I'll see you in 2024. If it's in the United States again, yeah, for sure.
That same thing I was thinking is probably going to be somewhere in Europe. I was also thinking like they haven't done Japan in a while. So that'd be cool. But I was so sure it was going to be London.
I was like, OK, if it's after April, I'll do the arrangements and be there. But it's like right on the end of tax season and tax account. So that's just like, yeah, when I'm hearing now, different people, it's right in Easter week. So hotels over there are paying already and extremely expensive.
So it's like, oh, maybe I planned it a little bit better. But yeah, like you guys, it's like maybe a little bit closer. Then I go across the pond and then spend all that. So dollars and then see, you know, then the next time.
Oh, no, it's close. And it's also like London's expensive. Yeah, apart from the change of like the dollar to the rock, it's expensive. All right.
So they all start with you since you were late and been here for 10 minutes. And they want us always late. I was here early. But just your overall thoughts about celebration and then Sunday, because we haven't talked about Sunday.
Sunday was the Bad Batch panel, I believe, for season two and for visions. We got visions. Season two is coming going to a lot of other different cultures, which is what I was talking about. Lauren, when you were here to a lot of vision, that's one thing that we kind of of mentioned, hopefully that they expand.
So we're getting that. But not the only thoughts on Sunday's panel and then just what was your favorite panel or moment or anything from just the whole week of celebration? Man, there's so much I love and it's weird because it started off so, you know, so negative. We were angry at the stream thing.
But one thing I did love and it was just like such a what are the odds? Like I can't remember what Saturday or Sunday I was eating dinner and I wasn't watching anything. I was like, oh, I was watching Stranger Things where I was taking a break and I was like, oh, maybe I should turn on the stream to see what's going on. And they were having the Duxian panel, which was great.
But all of a sudden it got interrupted. I was like, what's going on? And it was just even McGregor coming up and saying, Hey guys, this is my last night here. I'm so happy to have seen you.
If anyone wants to take a picture, I'm going to be over there. So please, I was like, oh my God, this is so cool. So I love that moment because I just happened to turn on the stream for a second and it happened. So that was very cool.
When it comes to the panels, I love every time we saw the high republic people. They were on the stage, but they also had their panel on Friday. Was it? Yeah.
Yeah, I loved every time they came out listening to Claudia Great Talk Star versus like a spiritual experience. I really loved them. And maybe big at favorite announcement was the Jedi survivor thing. Oh, yeah.
Yeah. I've been playing in order ever since then. Yeah. Yeah.
Really? So Lauren for you, because we talked about a little bit that first on Thursday when you were here for us watching at home and like Otty mentioned that Thursday we're we weren't too happy because some of the most panels weren't being shown. There was no information about it. And we were just watching the Star Wars live show that that live show that they were doing that the first 23 minutes to just recapping everything that happened on the panels that I'm so Twitter, we already knew.
But for you being there and I know that one show on the panels with all the people there, but what's your best memory from this week apart from of course being able to spend time with everyone? You know, your favorite announcement or anything over there that you enjoy the most. Yeah, it's hard to pick a favorite. Like what comes to mind is probably like Saturday.
Mando panel was amazing. I mean, Pedro and then you had the two other gentlemen that do Mando with Brandon Wayne and I can't believe I'm forgetting the other gentleman's name. I can't pronounce it. The same thing.
So the same thing happens to me all the time. I can't remember that second guy's name and I always remember randomly like that. I can't remember. I know.
But they had all so and it was great because Pedro like said, Hey, you know, it takes three of us to make this character. It was really cool. And then they had obviously Katie sack off and then they had Carl Wether show up. And then we got, you know, then they showed us some footage, which I think you guys might have seen before it got all taken down.
But you know, they showed some footage on Thursday and then they showed it again, but then expanded it for us on Saturday and it was amazing. Like I'm telling you visually it looked stunning where they are going with some of these characters like what would hand looks amazing. And then obviously we see Mando and Grogu like it was just a lot of great stuff. And then surprisingly though, we get some, you know, Rosario Dawson shows up in there talking about how she literally was just on set and flew to Anaheim to be on this panel like real quick and they talked about how they've been shooting for three weeks and then they showed us the footage and that about broke me because of what we saw, you know, I was, I was with my best friend Katie and then I was with Laura from Force those and we were literally like grasping each other.
We were seeing this is a social footage and then we saw the ghost. I mean, you see her walking through the ghost and then you see from behind Hera and that about broke every day when that happens. So, you know, Saturday, I think Saturday is probably the top for me. And then honestly Sunday though with Bad Batch man, that was a great panel.
Deep badly, Baker's amazing, you know, and then just what we saw, the footage was a little bit different from the trailer, but a lot of it was in the trailer, but some of the stuff we got, we actually got to see crosshair and then we got to see Cody like we saw Cody. So that was mind blowing stuff and then just the, you know, the music to it. It was just, it was great. It was great, great, great, great, great.
So those are probably my favorite moments for sure that come to my come to mind. Quick question, Lauren, is Cody like in the footage you guys saw there? Yes. So, okay.
So we, so they kind of showed us like the trailer, but like some other like, I don't know if it was expanded or just a little bit different because how what we saw, so we first saw actually a scene that they're on. Yes. Yes. We saw that kind of play out, which was really, really cool.
Omega looks great, you know, a little older, fantastic, great scene. And then they showed us like a trailer, which again, it was mostly what we saw in the trailer that they released, but then we got like how it ended for us was Omega in the Senate and then helped in rising up. And then, but the extra stuff was Cody and crosshair talking and you do get a little dialogue from Cody and Cody's kind of like saying crosshair. Do you think we are doing what's right?
Like it was kind of that type of conversation. So I'm hoping I hope for redemption for Cody. I know Elper to my crosshair. I think right there.
I was there. I think I am, but you're not boom dead. But it was cool. It was cool.

I don't know. I don't mind my style like that. So let me just real quick because I know what to use just here. Let me say hi to my friend, Mo.
What's up, your thanks for being here. Mo and my friend Tony, Mr. Resu was also a celebration and Mo was also where there. So guys, let's know in the chat.
What were your favorite moments from celebration? I just want to say it's funny because Mo got like a last minute ticket and she had like the awesomest day ever. She got into like a rogue one thing. She saw Grievous like what the hell?
Yes, one of those things. If whenever I get a chance to go, I'm not going as the host of Red River. I'm going just a fan for getting all this other stuff and interviewing people and trying to get on the podcast station. I just want to I just want to be shower with everything Star Wars.
I don't want to worry about doing this. Yeah, I agree. I do it maybe like a night at the hotel, but like there. I just want to be a fan.
I felt the same way. I was glad I was able to get on with you guys. But I did. I like I packed a mic with my phone, but I didn't even use it because I was just so you do when you get there just like you're just kind of saying Alberta.
You get there. You just you're just enthralled with what you're seeing and what you're like what you're doing is just like you don't even think about doing that stuff. You know, like you don't think about oh, I should probably try to interview somebody or like do this through that. You're like, no, dude, this is too much fun.
Like you're just way too much fun. You know, so yeah, I get you guys are coming from for sure. By the way, one last thing on celebration that I loved. I saw them on one of the streams.
They have like this little station where they do dioramas. It's called the DIY orama. Yeah, they were doing like for every single episode of the Mandalorian just like this huge diorama thing and you go you build your building. You put it there and then by the end, they showcase everything and you get to take home what you made.
I found that to be just like so fun. Yeah, just cool. Yeah, they have a lot of it is a lot of cool stuff that you can do there like DIY build and just a lot of fun little booths like it is like when you go there. If you go for like a day, you'll have so much just to like look at.
It's crazy. I really want to go. Yeah, for me, I think just hearing everything that came out of the Mandalorian panel was probably my favorite, which again, I've said here. Okay, Mando, I'm a little bit fatigued about it, but everything that came out from that panel just surprised after surprises, everything.
And he's just okay. And chopper was chopper doing here. Workers, we got a trailer and he's a trailer for Mando. It's like, what the hell is going on?
So and skeleton crew and everything kind of just happened in that panel is like, wow, this is why you're there. Yeah, I want to say it was so funny. So when Rosario brought out Chopper, I didn't click to be like, that could mean something like, oh, maybe he's in the show. Like I was like, oh, cute.
That's not fair. They flown. He's down, you know, down the stage. Like, oh, that's good.
And then it slowly started like sinking in and like, wait a minute. Why? Why? What's going on?
And then footage and all that stuff. It was funny. The second I saw it tweet that Shobber was there. I dropped my phone.
I was like, it's happening. Right. Right. I think it did not.
It's so funny. Like, I think, you know, Katie and Laura, I think like knew right away. And I was just like, oh, that's cute. That's funny.
Yeah, no, that's adorable. Yeah. I just want to tell you as well. And that tweet and someone said for somebody, it's on Shobber is here.
And I said, well, it's a droid, whatever. That's not an actual company. Yeah. It's the co-centers.
Hey, everyone's freaking out. And then all this sends me a 4K video. Just like, oh, at least we saw something. But yeah, that's not the best.
Oh, also one of my favorite celebration things was, um, Laura and the M me like, hey, you got the clip. Like, send it to me tomorrow. Like, yeah, like, we want to like rewatch it. That's what we were hoping they were going to replay it.
They were going to replay the Mandel stuff. But they didn't replay that so quickly. Which I was here on Thursday. I think when we talked about the Lucasfilm publishing, because they said they, they showed the Mandel system to stuff.
And I'm like, although show it on Saturday after the Mandel panel, they already said no. They gave you guys more footage, which is great. We didn't get it. Yeah, I curious because obviously we were, we tried to get to the Star Wars.com stage where they would host up.
But like on Friday and Saturday, were they showing those panels live for you guys? Like the love knows? So it was still, they still weren't doing that. The only thing live was a Star Wars stage where they had the five hour live show.
And then sometimes they will cut into like, obviously to the high republic panel, the channel, some of those smaller panels that are about in one. So some of those are not that big. It wasn't show anything from this. If there was a big panel during the stream, they would show it.
But the stream usually started right after the huge panel. Yeah. And of course the Ando trailer was another huge thing. Oh, God.
I've seen it so many times. It's so good. I've re-watched that and then bad batch to you. God, that bad batch trailer.
Just I was, I was, I was height man. I was like, let's go give to me now. Like I said, everything was so good. Yeah, that is great.
Especially at the ending. And I've been here another greatest Omega fan. But I love her loot. I love that they changed her outfit looks great.
And that is not the same armor. Like everyone else has his own thing. Yeah. It's great.
Everyone else changing a little bit now with the orange and stuff. Echo looks kind of the same, but everyone else can change a little bit. But all right. So I think that's it for celebration because we got a jump into Kenawiba before we go.
It's a mess. Yeah. Sick children. Yeah.
What are the people on the chat saying about some of the favorite stuff from celebration? Oh, so Mo loves and they're apparently. Yeah. Yeah.
So they also said the only people he saw was Alex and Molly. Yeah. That's a great find. I would say.
Yeah. I got to hang out with him on Saturday night. It was very fun. Yeah.
Oh, but so sorry. I'm going from like the newer ones. So apparently he also he's all lazy. And Mo said it was awesome.

Which was what I was a little. I don't know. I didn't plan it this way, but it worked for the episode. It was.
Oh, it worked. It worked. This was supposed to be the one from last week where I click the wrong button last week and we got a chance to pop up in sea floor. So I think it was also where it could see freaking God.
It's not just for 30 anymore. Sorry. Again, I'm a bit sick. What we're going to say, I think it's funny when you think that Obi one killed the first sip in thousands of years and here he is getting his hands.
Yeah, he's got like this. Yeah, I killed one. Yeah, I'm great. No, you're falling.
So Lauren, I got to start with you because last time we spoke, you had issues with your Apple TV was in working your hotel. You were trying to find a way to see what's your first two episodes where you were you able to watch them at celebration and then real quick, your overall thoughts on the first two episodes before we don't pay into episode. So the point three issues. Yeah, part three.
So yeah, so Apple TV didn't work. So we had to watch it on our phones. Oh, wow. It worked out.
That was fine. We watched it. We still enjoyed it. I actually watched it when I got home.
So no big deal. But yeah, this episode was something that I was not expecting. I was not expecting to get Vader this early. Yeah, and that blew my mind.
But the way he was introduced and the way they showed him as this ferocious, you know, dark figure through the galaxy that you hear, right? I mean, you hear we read and we see like people talk about Vader like in his prime, right? They showed it like 100% they showed it and it was it was terrifying. It really was like this.
There's no no two hands about it, man. I mean, they showed him at his like most evil most like P O when he was looking for, you know, he's been looking for 10 years. Yeah, he's a little upset. He's a little mad.
Yeah, it's a little bit out of some people. So we'll get to the time. He seemed upset. What happened?
What happened? We had to figure out because they didn't tell us in the episode. A plot hole. I am what you made me.
Oh my God. Watching that at five pere in the morning just killed me. But to me, this episode was everything I wanted. It had a perfect mix of small, intimate, emotional moments.
Can only with Leia, then can only with Talah also in that safe house. We had a bunch of tension when he gets into the trailer with Frick. I mean, Frick and then of course with Vader and then just all the action at the end. So he had a perfect balance everything.
All the light, Lord, I mentioned we got 10. I mean, Vader early on. We talked about it last time how much does Vader were we going to get? Were you surprised that we got him at the beginning and then for the last 15 minutes or whatever, it's all Vader?
Were you surprised that we got so much of Vader this early? I was surprised. I was surprised we saw so much of him this early. But I was hoping they would because I didn't want this to be like a last episode thing.
Sure. No, no, no. So bringing him in like right now works for the story. You know, I don't know if you guys but I was thinking they would have more than one confrontation.
Like since this is so based off of what was going to be a movie and what makes sense for them to face off in the second act and then back again in the third act for it. We want to win. So in that sense, like I was surprised but I wasn't shocked. Like the minute he came out on the screen, I was like, okay, this makes sense.

I just want people to see my because I after watching the episode, I realized I have a security camera on my family room and it recorded my face and that Vader scene. So you guys will see how I watched this episode for you. I'm looking for the picture. I'll send it.
Just let me know when you send it for me when we got and let's start off. I have it cannot divide the bisections mostly in order. But we might jump in and out. So for the introduction, we start again with Kenobi.
He's in this transport ship, maybe taking Quorum Caucuses to his out of it. He doesn't know how to do any of that Jedi stuff. Trying to reach Qui gone reminded me a lot of Ray kind of be with me, be with me, trying to connect to the other Jedi and she's not there yet. He's even far off.
But then he goes, oh, he's coming master and we turn them to Vader, which again, and dying. We see the cables coming out. He's getting built and I thought that was it. Now, after when he talks with Riva, we'll get more into that later.
I thought that was it that we're going to get that was everything we got with Vader. So I'm surprised that everything we got. I love every single second and he will come back. But he can get in builds.
I don't know, even words, the way he is looks worse than in Rogue One, the way the Arnold goes in feels more kind of hurtful. Yeah, the way the mouth goes in is not like he helmets that we buy those black series. Just two pieces. No, we got all these things.
The holes in his back was a key tool to go in. I just sent you a picture, by the way. All right. I mean, so just, you know, I think this is appropriate for us.

Oh, yes. You know we will pay for what he did to the Grandin. Which I don't care about the Grandin. I don't care about anyone.
I love that. I don't care if it's alive that can always the only thing that matters. But I love. Let's talk about the.
Just inquisitors themselves. They're vying for power. The fifth brothers is a his next in line. I love the dynamic.
We're going to go to the inquisitors here from the first episode. Lauren, are you enjoying all these? I didn't think we're going to get this much with the inquisitors. They just were going to be there hunting.
Yeah. But another huge part of the show. How you enjoying them and the dynamics. I mean, it fits, right?
Because if you if you read the comics, I think it was the Vader 17. Ron was it Charles Souls Vader run. They really did touch on a lot of the inquisitors. So like I love it because it totally makes sense, right?
Because these guys, you know, as dark ziders, they want power, right? So it makes sense that these guys are always looking for the next move to. To move up and it makes sense that they obviously want to please. Bader because that's the guy like that's that's was training them that who has trained them.
So like it makes sense for them to want to be his right hand person. So we speak, right? So I love it. I did it.
I love the dynamic that you know, even though they're a team. They're out for themselves. So like it makes sense as as it again. It fits what the comics say.
And it fits with the Jedi Fallen Order game. You know, so I I'm very, very pleased with how they're doing the inquisitors. And I talked about this. I think with you over to maybe with you, Odie to that.
My only concern now is Reba in that she will at the end and maybe we'll talk about this later or whatnot. But like I'm just afraid for her and what if they're going to kill her off because that was that was the one thing heading into the show that I did not want to happen. And if it doesn't, maybe it's if it's all feel different, but like I don't know how like I just don't want that happen. But it man or that it feels like they are setting it up that way, right?
Because again, the great Inquisitor, we know it's not dead. People calm down on that. He's not dead. The guy just came out on like Twitter and was like, we know came and calm down.
We know what we're doing. Slow down. So like, you know, he's going to be back. You know, the fifth brother is alive until rebels and then the other I can't is it the second I can't remember who that other inquisitor.
I think it was a fourth. The fourth sister, right? Yeah, because the second is a trailer. Right.
So the fourth sister, you know, we don't know much. I don't remember seeing her in the comments a lot. So again, who knows about her. But I do like the dynamic though.
I love the dynamic because it fits and makes sense in like these people just want power and they just want to please Vader and maybe even take over. Right? Because again, that's like they want power. Right.
Right. So I love it. I love it. I love it.

Yeah. I'm actually starting to think of maybe because have you guys seen the comic where the grand inquisitor after rebels is still like out there in some form because beta trap them into trying. So wasn't that a Kylo run to? No, no, that was a child's school.
Star Wars main run. Oh, okay. Okay. So I'm thinking that maybe he whatever Vader does to him, it's already done and that's why he's not worried about him.
And I'm also thinking like with what you just said that they all want to like scale up the ranks. Maybe Vader has to put a cap on the grand inquisitor because he knows he'll be after him. So maybe he's like not concerned at all because I'll deal with it later. I'll be like dark magic on him.
But going to Riva, I have your same fears because I think that's where the story is headed and it makes sense in the context of the story because she knows so much like she knows a lot. She knows a lot. And I do see a path for her redemption, but even then she knows a lot. She knows all these connections.
So I'm I'm bracing for it. And even what obsessed me the most is the connection to Trilla because he'll be basically her same story. Yeah. And I'm like cool, fine.
I'm not all Star Wars fans play fall in order, but for us who did it's like, you know, reading. She'll die in her own show after Kenobi. We get the Riva show. I love that.
I love that. So we'll be looking for other Jedi that have gone through the path and then she'll be able to run a quiz to welcome back. I would love that. That would be total sense for her to live in the Grand Inquisitor's after her.
I love that story for a good season two. Let's get Riva and Quinlan in. Let's get. Yes, there we go.

I let's go now into Mapuso. So they finally make it to Mapuso. Hey, you jumped over something a very emotional moment. Leah asking Kenobi to talk to her about the force asking and what it feels like or what it is.

So I want you to go to Leia, but not that boy. We'll get into it. So Leia, I can't wait there yet. Can you make this go faster?
So everybody that said that Leia doesn't act like a 10 year old doesn't have kids or hasn't been around kids. And sometimes she says later or just remind me of my son 100%. But okay, okay. All the only I'll let you read in with that one because you learned it.
So what I want to say is that at times I go like I wish just released everything and we could see the whole piece, but I'm loving that we get to sit with it for a whole week. Yes. And these little moments they start to like build and you connect them to other things in Canada and do this the first offspring of Anakin Skywalker asking to know we to teach teach them about the forest and it's a huge moment. Like this is the mission.
This is it. And he's like it goes to what I said, like I think in always in a position where he's clinging to the mission as this thing to just say a lie. But if Luke came to him right now and told him to tell him to force, he'd be like, yeah, kid. Yeah.
So so it's this first time he has to go out of his comfort zone and he has this annoying kid going like, Hey, what's the force? And he's like, have you ever been afraid of the dark? I love the explanation, by the way, was a very spiritual thing. And I just it's a very small moment, but I really love it and what it means for the whole story.
I love that he took the time to tell her even though it's a 10 second conversation. He didn't blow her off because he could have like we just need to get to my post and get back on. I hear. So what have you ever been afraid of dark?
Yes. So do you feel when you turn on the night? I feel safe. Yes.
It feels like that's like, oh, so I've been on the morning and can't know. We don't do this to me. And then then verse what we'll get to that. But when he feels later, it's like when they turn off the light.
Yeah. So it's interesting too that like Kenobi's like compares it that way because I feel like that's how he feels right now, right? Like he's in the dark and he hasn't felt the light in a long time and he's looking for that. And that's why maybe he continues to reach out to Qui-Gon to help him.
And obviously they're teeing that up so much. I can't wait. But I love what they're doing with Leia. Like that little girl we protect because she's amazing.
She's doing such a wonderful job as Leia. It matches everything that we know of that character. It fits perfectly. She's doing an amazing job.
And I like how they're pulling like little lines from like a new hope. Like when she tells Luke or when Luke tells Leia like, you know, I found Ben Kenobi or whatever. She's like Ben Kenobi. So like even that little like, oh God, yeah, she was with him.
Like she knows who that is. She like connects to that. It's not just some old guy that maybe she maybe, initially maybe we thought that we heard from or she heard from her father, right? Like, no, she has a connection like a deep connection with this guy now.
So like that little line of like Ben Kenobi, like how excited she got and how like maybe that lifted her spirits and that movie. This series is changing that and I freaking love it. I can't wait to see what's going on. I can't tell you how many times I've rewatched the scene with the hologram and can all be seen like for the first time in nine years.
It's just recontextualized everything. Even the rise of Skywalker novel. There's there's a quick mention there that Yoda and Kenobi help Leia train. Yes.
Train Ray. So, you know, this Hey, nice to see you again. Like it's something that I had I learned that Leia was going to be in the show. I would have resisted it so hard, but it wasn't.
It's been handled so, so well. Mm hmm. All right. So we get to my puzzle.
This mining planet has been ravaged by the Empire. You should be flowing hills and families and all that. What are they doing is well, not everyone's good. They are, but I thought the Empire was trying to help us.
Well, somehow or not, some like your father and then can all be kind of stops. Looks at the distance. It's a little figure of who that person did you think Lauren? Yeah, that's like right there because I'm like, oh, he already found someone and they turns and it's freaking anakin Skywalker.
It's looking mad at sale. So how surprised were you to see anakin and I loved it. Oh, I was so excited because I was really hoping. That they would do this with the show because obviously we know he's in the suit, right?
We know he's in the suit and he's doing like you can tell that's Hayden like just the way he walks and he's like, Oh, what are you doing? Like you just get that sense of that's Hayden under the mask. But to get him in like these kind of forced visions or forced kind of whatever and you know, because of how haunted Obi is that he sees him as anakin. You know, in that moment before he sees him as Vader, that's how he remembered Anakin, right?
And all that like now that kind of change like that's gonna change how Obi won season now. You know, now that whole line of he's more he's more machine than man makes it a little more like makes more sense. And we understand like how he knows that he was more machine than man now. But when he saw him in the distance, I was like, yes, this is cool because I wanted them to use Hayden in that way to see Hayden's face, which we did.
Like there was a nice shot when we were talking about him like getting put together right before the helmet gets on. You see his face, you see the yellow eyes, which will feel perfect. But you can tell that was Hayden's face and now though I like how they're using like this kind of vision or forced whatever to show him to show him as anakin. You know, in what Obi one would see him as it's beautifully done.
I hope we get more of it to be honest. I really do. Yeah, and I was we'll talk more about it at the end. I think what I think it's kind of leading to okay.
We're gonna start getting some flashbacks. Especially now that nobody's kind of messed up. I think we're gonna have some fever dreams. I think we're gonna have some flashbacks.
I would say. You see anakin there and then take us into a good friend, Frank, your name with a truck driver with a confederate flag on the back. So I love that and I can think I thought I was gonna be quiet going maybe looking down on him like I'm disappointed at you. But no, it was anakin and I loved it.
It had like this very biblical feel to it. It reminded me of the passion of the Christ. There's a scene where Jesus is in the in the desert and he sees the Antichrist. It really reminded me of that scene.
