S5 Episode 2: Stories from the Wilderness - Week 1 (Exodus 12-13)

from Feasting on Truth · host Erin H. Warren

In this video, Erin Warren teaches on Exodus 12 and 13 (The Passover, the Exodus, the Pillar of Cloud, and the Pillar of Fire). After nine consecutive plagues and nine negative answers from Pharaoh, God gives one final act of judgement in the plague of the death of the firstborn. But, God would provide a way for His people, the people of Israel, to escape the plague. The way becomes a feast of remembrance: the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. In the wake of tragedy, Pharaoh and the Egyptians force the Israelites out in the middle of the night with a special provision provided by God. God leads the people not on the short route, but purposely by way of the wilderness. He does not leave them there alone. Through the stories in Exodus 12-13, God miraculously proves His character as He births a nation. For more information on this study: FeastingOnTruth.com/MarkFor recommended resources: FeastingOnTruth.com/ResourcesFor more information on studying Scripture: FeastingOnTruth.com/HowToErin's books and other studies: FeastingOnTruth.com/BooksFor speaking inquiries: FeastingOnTruth.com/Speaking
