Throwback Thursday’s 2021 2020 February Natalie had the opportunity to speak with fellow latina in finance co founder of ask snowball Tanya Mendez candidly after both worked on an incredible 3 part podcast series Charlas by Hispanic Heritage Foundation in partnership with Nationwide in the lovely snowy city of Columbus, Ohio. Both had met on a panel for the annual summit In San Francisco Latinos In Finance 2019 and both spoke at the We all grow Summit 2019.  They discussed what it means to be women in finance, first gen, immigrant mentality and Tanya being a trailblazer as featured in Forbes 30 under 30.  These two get raw in why representation matters especially for women of color in Finance.
