S5E13 - Iron Knuckle - Chapter 12
from From The Library with Matt Hribar
Okay but really, who took that ring? Cleveland’s below-average bounty hunter and investigator Matty Iapen returns with his colleagues Mariah and Alison to take on a new case. Vegas, the city’s most expensive sex worker, accuses Maxamillion, the city’s richest man, of stealing her family’s diamond ring. Mariah, Matty, and Alison attempt to track down Vegas’ family ring for an impressive $2,000 each (which is a lot of money in Cleveland!) It isn’t just theft in the air: Alison has signed them up for Cleveland Dating Week, which means they’ll be looking for love alongside that ring. Jeremiah Redwood’s trial begins and requires Matty, Mariah, and Alison to testify in court. Look out To Kill A Mockingbird, because this court case is juicier than a basket of mangos blended with ice! That’s not all: there’s a car stalking Matty, the uncatchable skip Tomaz Gallagher, and a few run-ins of rivals like crabby Ms. Dorriander and the pretentious Jack Douhicky. Get ready to white-knuckle it as you take on Iron Knuckle! Check out the rest of the series via Kindle and Audible here as well as on Barnes & Noble.
