S6, Ep 16: Central Pennsylvania Fishing Report with TCO Fly Shop

Join host Marvin Cash as he catches up with George Costa from TCO Fly Shop in State College for a fresh Central PA Fishing Report on this episode of The Articulate Fly. George, ever the optimist, shares the latest on water conditions and fishing prospects in the heart of Pennsylvania. With streams settling down to near-perfect levels, George gives the lowdown on which waters are prime for fishing. The conversation then drifts to the surface action, or the current lack thereof, with sporadic olive hatches and the occasional black stonefly sighting. However, it's not all quiet on the dry fly front, as George anticipates a solid olive hatch pulling the fish to the surface soon. Marvin and George also touch on the streamer bite, which, despite requiring extra effort, rewards anglers with the chance of landing the more substantial fish looking for a hearty meal. Listeners are reminded that their questions are always welcome and could earn them some coveted Articulate Fly swag, with a grand prize drawing from the shop at year's end. Whether you're winding down from show season, tying flies on a dreary day or gearing up to hit the water, this episode is brimming with insights and encouragement. Tight lines, everyone!
